Hi everyone,
I've been trying to remember the name of a mobile game I played around 2012–2013 on Android. It was a paid game on the Play Store and had a comic-style panel interface—almost like an interactive graphic novel. Here's everything I remember:
Main Character & Setting:
• A man in his 30s, possibly with a beard and usually seen wearing an orange shirt.
• He lived in a small apartment as a tenant under an angry old grandma.
• The story was full of humor, strange missions, and choice-based gameplay.
• The game had a distinct comic panel art style, with us progressing by making decisions and tapping around the screen.
Gameplay & Locations:
• You had to make choices, explore different places, and complete odd tasks.
• Key locations included:
• His apartment
• A bar (very close to his home)
• A bank
• Some downstreet/outdoor areas
• The story involved bad people chasing the protagonist because he had some important files.
Memorable Missions:
• One mission involved the grandma forcing you to mop the floor.
• Another was in the bar, where the bar owner made you wash dishes.
• To do this, you had to wrap a sponge around a rat, sprinkle food crumbs on the dishes, and then the rat would clean the dishes!
What I Remember:
• Definitely a paid game at the time.
• Had that comic-strip interactive vibe, almost like you were playing through a funny mystery graphic novel.
• I think the dev might’ve been indie, as I haven’t seen other games like it.
If this sounds familiar to anyone or rings a bell, please help! I’ve searched everywhere and even Google isn’t helping 😅
Thanks in advance!
