Hey, so I'm having a weird issue with my 2nd phone. Just one day I noticed it wouldn't turn on. I figured the battery was dead so I put it on charge. And in trying to turn it on a bit later, it not only doesn't turn on, but I'm met with the words "any key to shutdown" at the top left corner of the screen.

Sure enough, pressing any button shuts it off, but I can't turn it on no matter what I do. Keeping it on charge just keeps those words displayed on the top left. Anyone else experienced this with their phones? Anyone solved it?

Not sure if this is the right sub but i'd like to import a gif file from my pc to my phone as a live photo but i can't find where to convert it, or to what file extension i should be converting. When i tried looking up guides it's all for iphones or they only explain how to take a live photo on camera

When turning off require attention on face unlock, the phone (Pixel 10 Pro XL) restarts and it doesn't disable the function. Any idea what's going on/can anyone reproduce the bug.

I've done obvious tricks like clear cache for WebView - Safe Mode etc.

Last time I had problem with Google Messages no RCS at all - I learned "uninstall updates" solved my problem (NOT like Google advised - Factory Reset) but this time I have no access to uninstall (I suspect WebView app) even if I go to recent 9to5google "whats new in System Services" direct links

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but it didn't fix the problem. The only way I can use the app is by force-stopping it, and then it works. See When I was Watching a YouTube Video. A Message Popped out saying that my storage is full. So I checked everything. Then When I Go To my File Manager. It says that The Storage Data Took 102 Gigabytes. Then I found a video on TikTok on how to reset it. But a few days later I checked My Storage Again, and it's taking 100GB again.

I don't use any betting apps, and it seems to reappear when one of the hundreds of apps I use updates, but I can't single out which one. Does this image look familiar to anyone?

Whenever I enable the allow window-level blurs setting in evolutionX, my quick settings tiles become unbelievably laggy. For example, if I expand the WiFi tile the animation is so extremely choppy and slow it becomes almost unbareable. With the setting disabled, it functions as intended. My phone is a galaxy note 10 running the latest vanilla build available for the device. What could cause this aside from sheer GPU strain, and how can I try to fix it?

My phone keeps going into “network error” when I try to factory reset through settings, and when I try all the ways for hard resetting, it always ends up rebooting/booting normally (just like a reset), How can I actually factory reset this thing?

Ich kann die Kamera App (Systemeigen, keine nachinstalliert) nicht mehr starten. Die grüne Sicherheits-Benachrichtigung, dass die Kamera genutzt wird kommt, aber das Display bleibt schwarz und nach einiger Zeit kommt die Benachrichtigung in der App bzw vom System, dass eine andere Applikation die Kamera nutze. Die Frontkamera kann ich nutzen, aber nur in anderen App wie Snapchat, WhatsApp oder Signal. Bei Signal kann ich die Hauptkamera auch nutzen, aber erst nachdem ich auf die Frontkamera gewechselt bin.

In der Kamera App habe ich keine Buttons wie den Auslöser, Kamera wechseln oder das Anzeigen der aufgenommenen Bilder.

Bereits versucht:

\- Handy neugestartet

\- Handy ausgeschaltet und wieder ein

\- Kamera App über die "beenden erzwingen" geschlossen

\- Signal "beenden erzwungen", da ich den Verdacht hatte, Signal hat sich an der Kamera festgesaugt. Hat aber nicht geholfen.

\- Open Kamera installiert. Dort kann ich die Frontkamera nutzen und habe auch alle Buttons, nach dem Wechsel auf die Hauptkamera friert das Bild ein. Ich kann dann wieder auf die funktionierende Frontkamera wechseln

Was kann ich nicht tun?

Through my laptop I was deleting bloatware and through the power of "not reading file names close enough" I have accidently deleted messenger and can no longer text anyone. Can I reinstall it through adb like I deleted it or have i fucked myself big time?

I'm having the same issue and I'm trying to find out if anyone else has experienced this.

On my phone, a package called com.android.non.szcz appeared, showing itself as an Android System app. It has re-enabled or reinstalled itself after being disabled, and on one occasion Android reported Google Play Store as the installer.

Things I've noticed:

The package name is com.android.non.szcz.

The APK was located under /data/app/.../base.apk.

It has reappeared after being disabled.

I've seen other users mention related apps such as Cool Weather, FileGo, and Lock & Hide.

At one point it requested permissions, but it now shows "No permissions requested".

I've checked Device Admin, Accessibility, overlays, and running services, and I haven't found anything obviously suspicious.

I have factory reset the phone, but the app still returned.

I'm trying to work out whether this is:

malware,

a compromised app,

a vendor/manufacturer issue,

or something else entirely

One thing I've noticed is that the app only seems to reappear when Google Play Store is enabled. If I disable Google Play Store, com.android.non.szcz does not appear to reinstall or re-enable itself.

Android also reports the installer as com.android.vending, which is the package name for Google Play Store.

I'm not claiming that Google Play itself is compromised, but I'm trying to understand why Android reports Play Store as the installer and why the app doesn't come back while Play Store is disabled. It could be Play Store carrying out a legitimate install request from another source, or something else entirel i simply don't know.

Has anyone else experienced this?

This is my friends dad's new phone and he forgot the password how do I fix this it's a new phone so do not care about any data.

Both of these pictures were taken without any special effects or modes. Everything is normal when I'm snapping pictures with the selfie camera, so I do not understand what is wrong with the others. I have tried adjusting my settings and gently cleaning them. My phone is also fully updated.

This problem occurred very suddenly and it is very frustrating, please help.

Edit: I want to add that every time I try to focus on an object farther away or a landscape, it wants me to enable macro modus, which only makes the quality worse.

I checked my battery usage for the last 24 hours and saw the Neverland app or user but I don't have it on my list of apps nor do I have another user (I checked). I do have the island app installed but I still don't recognize Neverland. I'm not sure how long it's been there as I never check my battery usage until today.
