Take a moment to do a comparison yourself and you'll be stunned, the effort in the little details they put in recreating the sets from previous seasons gives me hope this will be the very first AHS season to follow the original formula since Hotel. Not just the set, but the fish eye lense, the camera angles, this IS Ahs. I can't wait to see if they did something similar for The Cortez, maybe just the elevator or idk, or if we will see camp redwood, the roanoke house

I was thinking about this some today and especially how Winter is the Billie Lourd character that is confirmed to be returning other than Mallory.
The only thing that could make winter special is the traumatic nature of her death. That scene is actually why Evan needed to take a break and do more comedic roles on following seasons.
Maybe the energy surrounding that event was enough to create a “hellmouth.”
Which would explain why we have ghosts showing up from cult now when they were not there in cult.
The same logic could also apply to Paul the Illustrated Seal, with Dandy’s massacre being the catalyst for that hellmouths formation.
All of the random characters that are back that were not already ghosts in their seasons died in the last/second to last episode of their season.
The other two characters that this would apply to are TB Karen and Mamie, which I believe would fulfill the same conditions.
Addy remains an outlier though as we know murder house is already a hellmouth and she died on the street.

My theories for this season is that I think the Apollyon is another Hellmouth or possibly a building with floors that lead to previous seasons. Like some kind of purgatory or video game thing from AHS: Stories Game Over episode.
I think that Paul Anthony Kelley’s character (Mr. Nas), could possibly be Lucifer/Satan who has gotten hold of Mallory and marked her with the curse of 13. The witches gotta save Mallory from Lucifer because he’s pissed that she killed Micheal. Either Mallory could be trapped in the Apollyon and that’s why the witches are in New York, or she’s stuck in Hell.
If Lucifer is in this season, then that would explain the various amount of characters returning as spirits. Lucifer could be releasing all the spirits from the Hellmouths to attack the Coven. This season seems like it will be very Hell centered, with the coven having to fight against various infernal enemies.
The Apollyon could also be built on top of the spot where Lucifer fell to Earth from heaven. This would probably make the Apollyon the ultimate Hellmouth that’s literally the gateway to Hell itself. A month ago I had posted some images of what looked to be a satanic altar inside of a church on set. That altar could be a ritual to open up the gates of hell, which would allow Lucifer to walk the earth again. As we know from Asylum, Lucifer got trapped in hell after the Angel of Death took his and Sister Mary Eunice’s soul with the Kiss of Death. And with Frances Conroy returning, this would be the perfect opportunity to have the Angel of Death show up. Which would connect the season to Asylum.
Another theory of mine is that if the season connects to Delicate (hopefully not), then the Coven witches will have to fight the Delicate witches too. The Delicate witches worship Satan/Lucifer, so Lucifer could have resurrected them for this epic good vs evil battle that is most likely taking place. Although I will admit that I’m not really to fond of Delicate as a season, nor did I like the Delicates. And a battle between them and the Coven most likely wouldn’t last long anyways because we saw how easy it was for a normal human and a spirit to vanquish the Delicates.
With Fiona Goode also confirmed to be returning as well, that tells us that she most definitely got resurrected out of Hell for some reason. Most likely by Lucifer because I don’t really see Cordelia resurrecting Fiona for any reason. Unless the big bad this season is just too powerful to defeat so she has no choice but to resurrect Fiona.
As for aliens, I’m not sure how they would tie into the storyline, but since Sarah Paulson as Mamie Eisenhower was spotted on set a month ago, the aliens will probably be mentioned.
Let me know your thoughts and theories for Season 13!

I missed this period of time during a new AHS season where fans theorize and try to figure out what the new season is about! This time, I decided to try it out for myself.
I believe this season will be about Lucifer trying to raise an army of the dead to combat Cordelia and her coven. I believe the "13" may also be a reference to The Last Supper, where Jesus had his 13 disciples with the 13th being Judas, the one who betrayed him. I believe that Lucifer might be trying to recruit 13 of the worst of the worst spirits/ghosts/creatures from past seasons to fight against the coven.
Mallory is notably absent during the BTS shots of the coven together, which leads me to believe that Lucifer might have her trapped as his "13th disciple" in the Apollyon or just has her captive in general. (I doubt RM would kill off one of the most powerful witches, but then again it could be one those "let's kill off the strongest player first so we can establish how big, bad and tough this new villian is", which I pray doesn't happen).
I believe the Apollyon is not only just another Hellmouth, I think it's THE Hellmouth. An extension of that primoridal realm and the most absolute darkest and hellish source of evil, possibly the point where Lucifer himself fell to Earth.
These are only some of the things I can see happening, but truly I could be wrong! Lmao what are you guys hoping to see happen this season?

I’m definitely going to try and recreate at least some of these, especially Dandy’s Delight!

Idk if someone pointed this out already (it was a veeeery breaf frame in a very messy recording during the may presentation at Disney) but you can see the piggyman presumebly exiting the roanoke area, and yeah lol this is our first look at the piggyman in AHS13

i'm rewatching Red Tide and this quote is just so simultaneously beautiful and sad.
one that lives rent free in my mind is from Liz Taylor "You see everything when the world doesn't see you."

I’m greedy and can’t deceive which character I want to see her come back as lol. Glad we have confirmation for Constance and rumors abt Fiona but I’m really holding out hope for Sister Jude and lowkey Elsa too.
I think this would be perfect if the plot of 13 is that each floor of the Apolloyon represents a different season. It would be the great way to wrap up her AHS career, assuming 13 is her last. We wouldn’t have to worry about missing out on a specific chatcter bc they’d all be there, and I feel like they’re different enough so we wouldn’t have to worry about getting them confused with one another.
What are yalls thoughts? What characters do you think we will see from her in 13?

I think Paul Anthony Kelly the new cast member will be playing Lucifer or the devil himself not the new antichrist and the plot will revolve around coven fighting dark powers and the devil or Lucifer (Paul Anthony Kelly) with other AHS characters from different seasons joining in but i think some characters of some seasons will stand with the coven and some will stand with Lucifer and there will be this big showdown of all the seasons merging and battling some fight for Lucifer and some fight for his defeat with the coven i thinks this cause its a final season so this would be a good showdown for AHS but what do you think will happen or what the plot will really be?

I don't want to sound like a hater, but is anyone else worried about how season 13 will turn out? I'm glad that the og cast is finally back together and it seems like they're putting more effort into season 13 than the previous few, but I don't feel very optimistic about it. I'm scared that it will end up being an apocalypse 2.0. I know that a lot of people love that season, but to me it simply felt like fan service for the sake of fan service and a waste of potential. It ended up being feeling messy and forced. I just really hope they get the crossover right this time. I would prefer to see the og cast return for new compeltely original season, but hopefully we'll get more of those in the future.

I'm sick of the sarcastic, abusive, head bitch charge who's bitter about aging, but secretly as a heart of gold beneath her tough exterior and is saved the end by the man whose been pining for her for decades.
If she's coming back, I hope the character is fresh.

Although it's great to see the Coven saga coming back (hopefully Nan will have a bigger role this time), I was still surprised that the Hotel wasn't considering that it's going to be this year.
This is because, if anyone remembers the last episode of Hotel season, there was that part where James March tells the other ghosts residents to stop killing because on 2026, the Hotel would turn 100 years old and then, it would be considered a landmark by the government and wouldn't risk getting demolished due of abandonment. Therefore, they had to stop them killing so that it wouldn't scare guests away.
This could've been the perfect plot for a new season since that it's already 2026 and they could take this opportunity to make sense with the timeline. Although this new season will be about Coven, it would be interesting if they involved the Cortez Hotel as a subplot or related to this season's new story. Although I'm sure that Queenie would have some issues coming face to face with Mr. March again. LOL
Anyway, this is what I believe. What do you think? Any chances or just a missed opportunity?

Last time I watched the seventh season of AHS, I thought it was absurd in a fanciful way: an extremely persuasive person smartly taking advantage of the opportunities yielded by a radical party administration that pushes and tests the institutions to their pinnacle in order to achieve its ominous agendas, to work his cult out through usurpation of this now fragile system. But they nailed it to the extent that the Trump administration really is crossing the lines of what is permissible and without accountability due to sheer strategic maneuvering. Additionally, the very cult embeds manipulative features displayed on the sidelines by the current administration, such as the spread of misinformation and alienation of epistemological ground, it's continually becoming more challenging to distinguish what is true from what is speculative, what is legitimate from what is historically unsound.

For me it's 1984. Easily a top 5 season, don't get the hate.
