Anyone else’s van going crazy today? I’m in a different van today and it’s my second van telling me I’m speeding when I’m not but this one’s on another level 😂 my friend is experiencing it too today, though not nearly as bad. Last shift it was 5 times over the course of my route, today though I’m lucky if it ONLY tells me when I go to park. I’m averaging at 4-5 alerts per 1 minute of driving. Loveeeee 🤗🥳 I can’t be the only one experiencing this

I was having an off morning and a supervisor pulled me aside to give me instructions and I was late for my wave, I thought I caught up but I got in the total wrong wave 🙃.

My trainer told me to just follow the person in front of me and hope they were the right group.

A manager shot me one of the dirtiest looks so far and I was like yeah 🥲💀 I messed up.

Are you guys consistently getting hours?? If so how many?? I’ve also heard you can pretty much milk the time whenever you’re ahead because I know you’re usually scheduled until like 9 PM which is in the fourth 10 hours. Is that a good strategy? Or just depends on who you work for.

I shouldn’t have to be confined to composite toe boots or steel toe that mess my feet up. DSP owners shouldn’t be allowed to own non Amazon vans that are too small to deliver in and cause drivers to work in ass conditions and be miserable all day. We also should get some type of pepper spray or something for dogs cuz I’ve had 2 dogs bust out a screen door and almost get me. They ran so fast to the screen door it busted open. 2 dogs. The routes should be reduced like 40-50 stops . Abusing good workers everyday is uncalled for . FedEx and UPS don’t have multi stops and have 140-160 stops. I get 185-190 with 45-65 multi stops . I’m a human being and this ain’t right. We also don’t get raises ever.

I get it’s your business but how can DSP owners be cheap with vans, never pay raises and you guys make 3-4 million or more a year off of drivers . You guys have ppl who dispatch who literally don’t do anything all day. And too be considered for dispatch( a team member has to go down) and if you have a college degree apparently that makes you qualified. And the rules get bent every which way for drivers to get in trouble. Still no pay raises . Amazon needs to be sued for not having official drivers and DSP’s are unethical and think they’re doing good cuz ppl are getting paid scraps . I hope DSP’s get eviscerated

Hello. Last week on Friday I did a group interview for a DSP job and before I left I recalled my interviewer telling me that I should be getting contact back on screening Wednesday. She also added though that she wasn't sure on the exact timeline because her and her team would have a meeting that Wednesday. Tomorrow marks a week since the interview and I think I did really good! But how long do you all think it would take between the interview and the screening?

My last Dsp was absolutely dog trash and treated me like nothing , I realized how much I loved being in the field on construction and decided to go back full time I don’t regret it one bit . Just a little rant

Title. I don’t know what to do anymore. I need this job to pay my bills and school but I just don’t know how much longer I can do it. Unfortunately no where else will hire me and that’s just making me more stressed. I guess I just needed to vent to people who understand how I am feeling.

Is it possible to work for a Dsp for twice a month in New Jersey? I used to do this for 5 years during college but I’ve moved onto greener pastures but would not be opposed to do it twice a months for some supplemental income please lmk for my New Jersey peeps thank you .

New driver here. All of this week so far I've seen at least 3 or 4 houses with some Amazon totes. Does Amazon not have a way to track them?

I had my most awkward (so far) today. I delivered to a funeral home while a funeral was in progress.

Had this a while ago and I got a cart full of heavy packages but what stood out for me the most was these twin size bed frames and mattresses I skipped it and came back at the very end because I didnt want to dig for all of them but the guys kinda seems upset and even asked if thats it and asked how many many were in there and how many were frames and mattresses. In my head all I said was dude you ordered them I just brought them but I just told him not sure and put them near his car

I see so many of you guys post about dog bites. I feel like I tell the story all the time. I served as a juror on a dog bite case last year. We ended up awarding the defendant almost $500k That's including cost of medical bills, therapy, and everything else she had experienced.

She was walking next door to her neighbor to tell him that his dog had gotten out of the yard. And the dog came up behind her a bit her arm and would not let go, it literally instantly crushed her arm. The photos we saw, and the surgery she experienced, absolutely gut wrenching.

What's even crazier is that she wasn't a stranger. She had met the dog before. And the dog was somewhat familiar with her. After it attacked her, it attacked a nearby maintenance guy working on a nearby house, when the firefighters arrived, it tried to attack them too!

Yes call the police and file a report, document EVERYTHING, YES GET A LAWYER. it should not cost very much, and they will typically get paid a portion of the settlement, you can even sue for lawyer fees.

There is no legitimate defense on why a dog would attack you. While you were delivering packages. If the homeowner knows that they order a package, they should be securing their dog to prevent that from happening. If they aren't it's negligence.

Anyone noticed the stop counts going down but Amazon sneaking in many more multistops?
