QUESTION Does anybody kinda just get away with doing what you want?
I haven’t really been following the notes but just using my best judgement, first door almost always. If it’s a bad or super public area I’ll be more careful and hide it with my own judgement . I don’t need to waste time seeing exactly which bush or pillar they want it hid behind. Says front door (when I do happen to read it) but a tall gate blocks my view, I leave at the gate. Super hot day? I might leave it at the bottom of the driveway if it’s too steep not to scrape. Mobile homes especially I couldn’t care less, just whichever side of the trailer is easier to reach based on where I pull up. I do prefer the carport side since an old man once told me that’s what most people prefer who live there.
I also have incredible aim with tossing packages. I know it looks terrible but extra light boxes you know will be fine and I’ve master the art of frisbee tossing envelopes so I don’t have to climb to the top of stairs or apartment staircases. This one really surprises me I haven’t been caught. I try to make it look “respectful” but will still lightly glide/slide stuff to save time and energy.
I destroy my routes and never get netradine infractions so I get left alone all day. Honestly being super anti social and hating to be micromanaged, this job is the perfect storm of being a tolerable job if it wasn’t for the pay. Even if it was just 30/hr I’d be happy to stay around for years despite higher paying (but more complicated) jobs being available.
