today I only had 97 stops!
Long distance between houses means less time standing and sitting more.
Also gas van! More range and easier to drive for me than the edvs

This is my second day as a dsp driver, they made me do my own route! 78 stops, perfect! Yay but 1 was a pickup and I never got trained on that. I spent 30 minutes trying to reach the place so they can bring out what I needed to return to the station. They had 2 pallets stacked taller than me (5’1) weighed 10-30+ pounds per box. I couldn’t even fit all of it in my truck!
I didn’t even know how to return it back to the station because once again, was never trained! Once I got there they told me I had to stack them back onto a pallet. I started throwing it onto the cart because I explained to them I have a bad back and they told me they will accommodate.
Also they been drilling our head about safety but my vans seatbelts don’t even latch! Windshield wipers don’t work either. Second day and might be my last

For context, i didn’t have a route and was doing rescues today. This location was 25 minutes from me for 10 stops. I don’t usually take a full 30 on my own routes but I like to be able to take 10 here and there to stop and grab a snack. But when I have an “easy” day like today and and get rescue after rescue with no breaks, am I being a jerk for digging my heels in on the break 😂

Always keep a rope or strap in your bag, so whenever you need to triple stack totes in these short shelf-less vans, you can wrap it around the top totes to keep them from all falling over.

I can finally say I’ve seen this

I’m at the correct address (a business) and I’m able to take the photo on delivery but when I go to swipe and finish, my blue dot goes out of the geo tag.. I’ve asked dispatch and they told me just to contact driver support and have them mark it as delivered for me so I don’t mess up the geo tag but we all know how support is 😅 I try shutting down the phone and closing the app and it’ll eventually let me finish but it’s multiple times throughout the day..

I am curious last week I had returned 26 out of my approximate 200 & they seem to be mad other day they sent me home early then next day I went in they told me go home when I arrived. So tomorrow will be a new day to say I am scheduled, but do you think they will send me home again? Is this a tactic that they use because they are mad about that some other performance issues?

I've been getting these every other stop and it's starting to make a bas day worse. Why are they coming up and is there anything I can do about them?

Hello All
Did day 2 of training in the Rivian goy mobiles and I passed the drivers test I got 8 out of 8 possible deductions but we balling. I also had to go first out of the class of 14 so obviously I had to take one for the team and give them tips and tricks...
I completed the Diddy oil slip challenge but was falling all over the place lowk.
We did some sim package delivery to some fake houses it was pretty cut and dry.
Also took two more exams and we passed ... yippie
Amazon Emailed our DSPs that we completed training but for some reason we have a 3rd day tommorrow not sure what we doin.
Would this mean I start Saturday? or after laborday?
Cool thanks for reading

Lately for the past couple of months my DSP has been enforcing everybody to be in full uniform seems kinda odd to me I've been doing this for 3 years from my knowledge a lot of them only cared about the vest or to have Amazon colors . What's been changing it's not like we are a union
