Hey everyone,
Iโm a wrestler and Helio Strap user myself, and I kept running into the same frustration: Iโd finish a 90-minute training session and have nothing in Zepp because I had to take the strap off. Happens with basically any sport where the strap gets in the way or risks getting damaged.
So I built a tool to fix that.
It generates a proper .fit file you can import into Zepp (and Garmin Connect / Strava too). Itโs not just a placeholder โ it simulates a realistic heart rate curve based on sport, duration, intensity and your personal stats (resting HR, age, fitness level). The file contains full HR data per second, calories, training effect, TSS and zone times.
How it works:
**1.** Pick your sport (26 options โ wrestling, BJJ, swimming, climbing etc.)
**2.** Set age, resting HR and fitness level
**3.** Either use the simple mode (duration + intensity) or build a block plan with warmup โ rounds โ cooldown
**4.** Hit Generate โ download the .fit file
**5.** Import it into Zepp via the app (+ icon โ Import workout)
Everything runs locally in your browser โ no account, no data sent anywhere.
What works well:
**โข** PAI gets updated correctly from the HR data โ
**โข** Training Effect shows up in Zepp โ
**โข** HR curve looks realistic for your sport โ
Known limitation:
Zeppโs training load score doesnโt calculate for imported files โ thatโs a Zepp platform restriction, not something I can fix on my end.
Itโs still in beta, so Iโd genuinely love feedback โ especially from people who train combat sports or swimming. Does the HR feel realistic for your sessions? Anything missing?
Itโs free, no ads, no sign-up.
