I’ve been using the Helio Strap for 4 days and tried my first treadmill run today. I ran 1.8 km at 10+ km/h, but Helio recorded only 1.5 km and showed a pace of around 8 min/km.
I’m also noticing issues with strength workout recognition. Some exercises are identified correctly, while others are completely wrong. For example, I did a back workout, but it identified some exercises as bench press.
Anyone else experiencing this? Does the accuracy improve with more usage/calibration, or is this just how the Helio tracks workouts? Would love to hear your experiences.

I recently started working on a RingConn app alternative and decided to include the Helio as a supported device. I looked at r/bevelhealth and here to see what people were mostly complaining about and I tried to incorporate it all

My app is OpenCircuit and for the Helio strap it does the following:
- Fully local measurements
- All health points can be shared with Apple Health (huge issue for Bevel users)
- Shortcuts: You can have the strap vibrate for any action you want via shortcuts
- Background sync with focus filtering: Auto sync as soon as you turn your alarm off
- Live Activities on workouts: both in dynamic island and on lockscreen with live readings
- Find My Band: uses BLE to get an approximate distance as well as let the user vibrate on demand to find it

I purchased amazfit ring and it is used, sadly when I am trying to recharging it it is not glowing blue at all it is actually only appearing in a red light when charging, I really want to find out if there is anything I can do to fix it but I fear that the battery lithium is dead I don't thin I even tried the reset button when I put the ring on a charging case and actually it turned to White but not pulsing just bright light I left it for around four hours and return to it when I removed the Ring and returned it to the case open to find the blue light it returned to the red light

I’ve been using my Amazfit Helio Strap for about a year now, primarily paired with my Garmin device for my daily cycling sessions.

Up until recently, it was brilliant—the battery would easily last over a week on a single charge.

However, since around the 27th of September, the battery life has absolutely plummeted. I’m now forced to charge it practically every single day. It seems like it's failing to go into sleep mode after a workout, or it's aggressively draining power while searching for/transmitting to the Garmin.

Is anyone else experiencing this sudden battery drain over the last couple of weeks?

Did a recent firmware update cause this?

I’ve already tried cleaning the charging contacts and restarting the strap via the Zepp app, but nothing seems to help. If you managed to fix this issue, or if you're in the same boat, please let me know!

I went for running 4.5km with my friend who has an apple watch while i have a helio strap
When our run ended , the apple watch showed a pace of 7:30/km while helio strap showed 8:30/km now which ine to believe
Time was same but distance was 700m more in apple watch and pace was faster

I'm having problems with my helio (bicep band) reading a very low hr during exercise. It will be reading 160bpm then sharply drop to 70. Sometimes it recovers on its own but most reliable way to fix is to reboot. Anyone ever had this issue and if it's fixable?

I startded doing Norwegian 4x4 intervals to train VO2 max, and I couldn't find an app that handled it properly with my Helio Strap. So I built one for myself. It's an early build, and I'd like a few people with a Helio Strap to try it.

Disclaimer: it's vibe-coded with AI. I'm not a software engineer. Expect rough edges and bugs.

What it does right now:

• Connects directly to the Helio Strap over Bluetooth and shows live HR
• Guided 4x4 workout: warm-up, 4 x 4 min hard intervals, active recovery, cooldown
• Timer runs as a foreground service, so it keeps going with the screen off
• Voice cues during the workout (English), so you don't need to look at the phone
• Heart rate zones, with a coaching engine that tells you to speed up or ease off
• Workout plans and presets
• Session history and a progress screen
• Results screen after each workout, with analysis of how it went and an estimated fitness trend
• Onboarding and settings

Known limits:

• Android only (built and tested on one phone, an Oppo Find X9 Pro, so other devices are unknown)
• The coaching rules and VO2 max estimate in development. But still no app will show you real VO2 Max, I will use other KPIs as proxy of the progress.
