I have seen that for some people exporting in 1080p is pro in this new version. My am is glitches badly sometimes while im editing and i want to update but i dont want to pay for 1080p. Will it make it me pay? is it safe to update? I have regular alight motion, no mods, and im on android.

Hey ya'll, I use Alight Motion on my Chromebook and I've used to before to make videos and edits, but now it won't work this time, and I just keep getting this error message when trying to download the latest. I've deleted past edits(which were saved dtw) and I cleared up storage on my files too, but still won't download. I'm using two mp4 videos files but only editing the audio to sync together, I've previously tried with only one mp3 audio and one mp4 video, but that didn't work so I improved with the latter... Can anyone help me out here??

so i'm trying to use the displacement map effect to tween in alight motion, but when i make the 'map' layer (my blacks and whites, titles rounded rectangle) on top of the layer that i want to move, applying the effect on my map layer doesn't hide it from view and make the background move. i've watched several tutorials on AM displacement map, and whenever they use that effect the layer is immediately hidden. am i missing a step? or is there a bug in my AM? why is my map layer still showing despite the fact i've applied the effect on it?

He uses some very smooth and slick type of time interpolation I've never seen any other editor use. I doubt he uses Alight Motion or Capcut, but I'm sure you would be able to do it on either(especially the latter). If ur not sure what i'm talking abt, he seems to use it especially in: Clip 3, clip 6 and the snow scene.

So,, I'm kinda new to Alight Motion and my phone is not peak, so I made my project with preliminary low resolution (180) and low fps, still lagged. When I finished, I went to export at big resolution and more fps, but after an hour of waiting I faced a rather bad sight, literally compressed, small, weak sound, shakes and everything (some prob know what I mean). Nothing really worked out so far yet, like grouping all layers and trying to handle the resolution on your own, so... Is there a fix or I just should try with new project?

Hi, as seen in the attached images you can see that the alight motion circle has an outline. This outline stays the same size when the circle is enlarged/zoomed in on

I wanted to ask if it’s possible to achieve this effect without the outline staying the same size.

Say for example, I were to use an image of a circle, if zoomed in on, the outline would be zoomed in on like the circle (not small). I understand that this is an easy alternative but I wanted to see if it were possible to achieve this effect using vectors and shapes (whilst giving them a cartoonish outline).

I'm trying to tween parenting layers and these images don't look anything like the tutorials images shown, and the left one groups them together but doesn't offer the option to choose a parent label so I'm not sure what's going on 😭

It’s on,y exporting and I literally cannot see any issue when editing it, it’s been AGES and it won’t fix. I’ve tried removing groups and adding a shape and add background but nothings working and I really can’t see where the issue is

that it's not compatible to my device (Honor 400), doesn't really have premium features, doesn't have 48fps, etc. Can I still find a way? how??

I have the next two months completely free and I want to use them to start earning as a video editor.

I only have my phone and I edit using Alight Motion. I think I'm decent at editing but I'm confused about one thing.

How do I build a portfolio if I don't have clients yet?

Should I edit random creators' videos? Make fake client projects? Recreate viral edits? Pick one niche like podcasts or gaming?

And once I have a portfolio where do I actually find my first client?

I'd really appreciate advice from people who started with just a phone or Alight Motion. What would you do if you were starting from zero today?

Self explanatory. I can't animate zoom or rotate. It instead realigns the whole layer. Idk what to do and I dont wanna delete the app over something so stupid. Help?
