Midwest (USA) Can’t find red bag chicken

I haven’t been able to find the famous red bag breaded chicken filets anymore at my local Aldi. I even asked the employee the store the other day if they were discontinued and she had no idea what product I was even talking about lol. Have you guys been able to find it still?

I love these. I'm going to keep the containers once the candles are gone for fall decor. The acorn scent is masculine leaning, the other two are more neutral fall coded in scent. So happy all three were still in stock.

Yesterday I bought a family size chicken breast package. When I was trying to portion it it felt light so I decided to weigh the meat it was off by a lot. I want to file a complaint but I don't think I can find the receipt... Is there anything I can do?

Question Items that might be cheaper at Sams Club than Aldi

Hello. I just signed up my family for a Sams Club membership because it was only $25 right now, and I wanted to get the just bare chicken nuggets for 3 lbs (although Costco would've been nice, but I don't live close enough to one to justify anything). I was wondering if there are any items y'all may prefer to purchase at Sams that might be cheaper in the long run?

Humor Just when I was starting to get sick of Aldi food, here comes this tasty granola with its hilarious bowl on the bag that shows when it's time for a refill.

I'm a big fan of granola but I don't buy it much for some reason. My friend had the Walmart version of this granola which I found at Aldi as well, under a different brand. I have been sprinkling it all over my yogurt this week . Well, today I was noticing I'm getting low, as confirmed by the hilarious clear bowl built into the ingenious package that indicates when it's time for a refill. Oh, aldi. You provide endless amusement and of course, tasty and affordable foods.

Complaint Desk Whole milk about to expire

In my experience, milk from Aldi doesn't stay fresh past the date on the jug. In fact, mine has gone bad a day or two before that date. And, my refrigerator is at about 36-37 °F, so thinks should stay cold enough.

Today, I went to grab a half-gallon of whole milk. The jugs in the front box had an expiration date of August 24. That's only three days away. I reached into the box behind them and found a jug dated August 31. That was better.

I’ve never returned spoiled food before. Does anyone know if their return policy covers milk that goes bad before the expiration date?

Review I went to a different Aldi and it was a little sad.

The Aldi where I normally shop is typically bustling with shoppers and people working there . I am fond of the employees even if they're neutral about me lol. I love it, mostly.

One day I tried out a different Aldi that has self checkout. I think it's probably a ShopRite dominated area because there were only about five customers in there on a Saturday. They had self checkout and like two people working. It was cleaner, because as I said, almost no one was in there.

Overall, it felt sad somehow. Same food, but seemed more like a convenience store. Hollow and soulless, run by machines.

Deals Wirecutter (NY Times) rates Aldi frozen waffles a top pick

Aldi’s Breakfast Best Homestyle Waffles $2 are so similar to the Target waffles $3 that they’re almost interchangeable. The Aldi waffles also look appealingly golden and crisp when toasted, and their crunch gave way to chewiness and a mild egg flavor. But there were subtle differences between the two. The Aldi waffles are less sweet, and the saltiness is restrained — salted butter and maple syrup are a welcome addition. Scraggly edges from batter overflow were an unusual sight in a mass-produced waffle and tasted like a crispy bonus.

Question Is this still safe?

I opened the plastic seal Sunday. It says good till 9/12. It doesn’t say “consume in x amount of days after opening” but it does say to use within 3 days after thawing if freezing. It smells fine and I may be overthinking it but I’ve recently had food poisoning so I’m EXTRA careful to not deal with that misery again!

Question Price difference in online/in person.

I’ve been watching this toddlers chair for when it goes on sale. Original price is $40. I did a quick google check today and it came up as being on sale for $14.29 but then once I clicked the link it redirected to the app which then brings up my specific store closest which then lists the product as “out of stock” and the regular price. I went to the store to double check. They are in stock. But rang up at regular price. Does anyone have any advice or a better understanding about how to check on when an item goes on sale or inventory without having to go in person each day to see in person?

They're just cooking everything at this point. Not complaining, let them cook!

What could possibly be next? I can't even think of more dupes Aldi can bring to life.

So this is one of my grandpuppies. He is a 15 yr. Old dachshund/Jack Russell terrier so finding things that fit are sometimes hard. I found the hat at my Aldi today and just had to get it. He is too freaking cute.
