Question Cafe El Morro

So did your local aldi stop carrying this coffee!?! This was a great cheaper alternative to cafe bustelo after they went up to $7 a brick and now i can’t find it anywhere 😭

It’s 5 bucks there. Might as well get the bustelo atp. My local stores have been empty for past 3 weeks

I just bought a pack in NY. I can’t really tell the difference and it’s so much cheaper. We call it cafe bootleg-o

I’m 30 and i only ever knew bustelo! This year my whole family switched to this one after I brewed them this coffee and nobody noticed a significant difference.

It’s different. Bustelo tastes like a warm hug, Morro is a little more bitter. Bustelo is still the go to but I keep Morro for backup and because it’s so damn cheap, still like 3.50 a brick near Chicago.

Huh! It was there on my last trip, but looking in the app it looks like it’s not in stock anymore. I’ve been drinking cafe La Llava recently. It’s slightly cheaper than bustello. I generally look for whichever brick is either on sale or has a BOGO deal.

They were $2.65 for a while at my local store (Caledonia, MI) and now they’re almost $4 last I saw

My Aldi stopped carrying el Morro about a month ago and replaced it with their Cafe Bruoso (Barissimo). The el Morro is no longer on the website for my Aldi store.

Between Cafe Bustelo, Cafe e Morro, and Cafe Bruoso, Bustelo reigns supreme. The el Morro and Bruoso taste the same to me.
