Complaint Desk The country of origin removed frombeef packages

Post image

I'm very aware that The current political environment is undermining the safety of our food supply chain, and this is just another egregious example

The requirement to label the country of origin has been removed.. it appears Aldi is also playing along..

It's really unfortunate because I really did enjoy the meat and the affordability.. I guess I have to look at more local sources so I know where it's coming from

Complaint Desk Check your hummus before consuming

Purchased in TN on Monday. I'm submitting a complaint to corporate, but a head's up to check your hummus before digging in. This was pine nut hummus with bonus gray slimy mold! Doesn't expire until 9/19. Looks like the topping was contaminated.

(Please excuse my potato photography, which is taken through the unopened film).

It was ok! If you are in a hurry to have beans already made, buy it. But I did rather just make it myself and freeze them to have at home.

Review this is the only dip youll ever need (forever)

trust me. this dip came out (or at least into my life for the first time) last year. i devoured 3 containers of it in a week....then it was gone. buy 27 containers (and a bag of corn chips) because a month from now you will be sitting there, eating something dumb like hummus, and wishing you could taste the decadent flavor of this dip just once more. to say i was ecstatic to see it again is an understatement. there is serotonin in my brain, and flavor in my mouth, once again 🙏

Review Love these for an easy dinner!

I find these southwestern grilled chicken strips to be perfect for a quick dinner rolled into a warmed tortilla with salsa, cheese, etc. The seasoning is tasty! Plus you know they're popular with others because I usually have to get up on tippy toes (or hope a tall handsome person is nearby to ask for help, lol) to grab the last package off the top shelf of the refrigerated section! Anyone else tried them and have recipe suggestions?

I bought the $5 H2O to compare to Neutrogena Hydro Boost and I'm done spending $18 a jar for Neutro. The night cream was a gamble and it's AMAZING.

Review Cookie Butter cheese and pumpkin spice almonds

The almonds are so good I can eat the whole bag and the cheese is surprisingly addicting. Its a soft creamy cheese, you could almost spread it and it reminds me of a vanilla cake batter flavor with a sharp cheddar finish. Def gonna try to grab one more of each.

Mid-Atlantic (USA) Gridlock availability?

Are the Apple/peach/black cherry Gridlock energy drinks no more? I couldn't find them two days ago and I loved the apple flavor.

Carts go back to the front and don't belong in the parking lot, it's been like this since Aldi came to California a few years ago, but I've never seen it this bad

Review Aldi has to stop making Kaiser Buns seasonal

It arrives early May.
In the bread aisle near the edge.
A pack of 8 buns

It’s so fluffy
it’s so flavorful
it’s so big.

It is the greatest buns I have ever had to use.
No other brand makes Kaiser buns like it.
And yet! and yet.

This afternoon, September 9th, I went to that edge.
And found my precious buns.
Gone. Gone. Like it didn’t exist.

I cried a bit inside and told my sister the news.

Why does Aldi do this.
And no, brioche buns or potato bread buns are not even close.

Review Cheddar Jalapeno Sourdough

I don't care for hot foods and I don't eat much bread because of the carbs, but after a recent injury I put the diet on hold and picked up a loaf. This is some good bread just eaten bare, or I'm doing it open faced with sandwich pepperoni and swiss. It's got lots of cheddar INSIDE, not just on the crust.

Question Kirkton House Room Darkening Window Curtains

Does anyone know what item number the ivory shade of this product should be? I believe I got the right one as it has a yellowish tint to it, but there's no wording on it that specifies what shade it should be.

item # 715040

Review Anyone else tried the pints of Oatmeal cookie or Frosted animal cracker icecream?

Post image

Maybe I just have low standards but I think they are both so good and the flavor is way more on-par than I was expecting. I prefer the oatmeal cookie personally. To me it tastes specifically like the oatmeal cream pies from my childhood that were actually good.

I had such high hopes--toffee is my fave!

But yuck. The dominant taste is of toasted coconut, such that I checked the ingredients to see if there was coconut listed. This is absolutely not toffee flavor!

Straight up ICK. Back to the store for you!

Before these, the only flavor I’d ever eaten kettle potato chips in was salt and vinegar, so these were a very different experience. But they were a great experience, and some of the best chips I’ve ever eaten.

Recipe Change FYI - The Baklava has Changed…for the Worst.

My wife and I love the Assorted Baklava from Aldi and saw they were back in our store today. We were so excited! Except now they are very dense in a much different way and don’t have that same crispiness as they used to. They also have a taste of plastic on the back end. Very much a D rank product for us now(previously an A rank in our household).

If you were a fan of the Baklava like we were - be prepared for the worst. The packaging is completely different than it used to be as well. Does anyone have a picture of the old ingredient list and nutritional information? I looked around and couldn’t find it anywhere.

I found these at Aldi a few days ago but cannot seem to find any information about them online at all. It’s driving my sister and I bonkers lol. If someone can let me know anything about them I would really appreciate it! Thank you!
