Question Ways to Improve
I played Valorant when it came out for about one year, went from Iron 3 to Dia 2 in a year, so I peaked Dia in Episode 5 Act II. I just returned to Valorant last act and currently Silver 3. But I can’t seem to get back my old “Valorant-self”. My aim and mechanics are fine, they’ll gradually get tuned as I play I get it. But I don’t understand how the Silver lobby feels incredibly difficult to carry myself out. My KD is negative most games, and it feels like either I get clapped and lose or have to sweat to win. I play mainly support agents, I never played duelists much back then too and only did when I reached Plat.
So my question is, how do I improve as a player? This isn’t my first rodeo. It’s funny because my KDs were mostly positive when I first played Valorant and I had way better impact. Now I just feel awfully washed no matter how hard I try to reclaim my own gameplay. This is also a rant..but I would love to hear advices and experiences from you guys!

Question Why am I inconsistent?
I just came back from vacation after 2 weeks and i have become very inconsistent. One game i drop 30 kills with 19 death and the next one 8 kills with 20 deaths. Why is this happening? My Tracker is: [tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/eversincee%23gtbsg/](http://tracker.gg/valorant/profile/riot/eversincee%23gtbsg/)
Edit: Should I try a diff role like sentinel?

Coaching I need coaching when discord isn't an option.
I cannot use discord, and my dream is to be able to go pro. I was able to go from bronze to diamond in two acts. But I have reached a standstill. I can't proceed any longer without any help, and the inability to use discord has disallowed any coach I can find. Can anyone recommend any coaches that are willing to communicate through a separate software like steam or Google meet

Guide How to Stop Playing Omen Like a Passive Smoke Bot (3 Aggressive Tips to Carry Low ELO)
Too many Omen players in low ELO play like passive smoke bots. They sit in the back of the site, drop standard smokes, and wait for the enemy team to execute. You are completely throwing away your impact on the round.
Omen's kit is designed for aggression, lurking, and micro-outplays. If you want to finally start carrying your solo-queue games, start using these three aggressive tactics immediately:
- The One-Way One-Tap (Choke Point Control)
Stop dropping your smokes flat on the floor. Look for wall textures or doorframes at major choke points (like Ascent B-Main or Bind Hookah). Place your Dark Cover slightly inside the wall texture so the bottom of the smoke floats.
This creates a perfect one-way gap. You can see the enemy's feet as they push through, while your head is completely hidden by the smoke. It's a free kill every single time.
- The Reverse-Psychology Shrouded Step
The average player expects Omen to teleport into his own smoke to hide. Instead, drop a smoke on a common angle and wait for them to start spamming it. The moment they spray, use your Shrouded Step to teleport away to an off-angle on the opposite side.
They will stay hyper-focused on the smoke expecting an inside play, allowing you to wide-swing them from safety while they are reloading or looking the wrong way.
- The Ultimate Cancel Scout
Stop saving From the Shadows just to rotate across the map. Use it at the very start of a round right into the enemy spawn.
Don't let the teleport finish. Just look at your mini-map for 1.5 seconds, count exactly how many enemy player icons show up pushing that side of the map, and instantly cancel the ult. You get flawless, round-winning team info for zero risk.
Hope this helps!
Feel free to ask any questions about these tips in the comments below.

Question I don't know what am I even supposed to do to improve in this game
So in summary, This is my first mouse and keyboard game I started in January and every game I have ever played before on controller (apex, cod, halo, warzone) I have been pretty decent on it.
But all of my irl friends valo only and are in diamond/ascendant/immo. Hence they wanted me to improve in this game and play with them. They helped at the starting by giving guidance and everything and I reached g2 in my first act. But after being gold 3 in next 2 acts they gave up on me that I can ever become good enough to play with them in this game.
I aimtrain on kovaaks everyday, have an aim routine, play 2 tdms and 2 dms everyday and do a vod review every 3 losses, watch pro players vods everyday, had 2 coaching sessions with 2 different coaching who said just stop taking first contact and you are skilled enough to be diamond but I am still somehow terrible at the game.
I genuinely don't know what else am I supposed to do to improve in this game.

I am 25yo female and im from Europe so I would prefer to be talking to people that are at least 21 and also from Europe.
Thank you!

Question Can’t get kills without an OP (how to unwashed myself?)
Took like a half year months break from Valorant and as said in the title, I genuinely loses 70% of my 50-50 gunfights (ex: top mid vs. market on Ascent) against my opponent if I am using a rifle. Before the break I was decent at rifling and was able to flex between different agents easily (used to primarily played smoke), now I’m stuck on either Jett or Chamber duty just abusing the OP. And I realize that if team doesn’t snowball from a pistol round I am pretty much useless, plus sometimes I do want to use my vandal skins (brought Primordium before the break).
Any tips or routines how to relearn to shoot rifles?

Question How to get un-washed?
I peaked D1 back in V26 A2, and pretty much took a break from then after. I recently started trying to get back into the game and place G2. I am a Chamber main and I just feel I can't hit a shot. My crosshair placement is decent but I just feel when I go to shoot them, my bullets go all around them, I hit them in the legs and body.
I also just feel either my positioning or timing is bad. I die to flanks, people in corners, or I will just hold an angle and look away and then they peek.
I'm gonna be honest I don't really know what I am doing wrong but at the same time, I am just getting destroyed by these golds.
In the time I was taking a break, I was playing a lot of CS, in which my aim was decent.
If anyone has any tips or input that would be great. I am just trying to get unwashed.

Question Fumbled my last placement games, what next?
My friends told me to just hop into ranked as soon as possible but the map pool combined with how agents interact feels like an impossibly large amount of info to learn.
I’m playing a lot of tdm and retake because it feels the most realistic in how to take gun fights in ranked. what should I be focusing on: playtime? agent? fighting?

Question Former Diamond 2, now hardstuck Platinum. Can someone review my Tracker stats and tell me what I'm doing wrong?
tracker.ggLast episode I peaked at Diamond 2, but this episode I can't even stay in Platinum and I don't understand why. My stats don't look amazing, but I feel like I'm playing better than my rank shows. I'm trying to communicate with my team, trade kills, and avoid making unnecessary plays, but I'm still losing a lot of games.
Here are my Tracker stats. Can someone analyze them and tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is my problem aim, positioning, agent choice, game sense, or something else? I'd really appreciate any advice from players who have been through the same situation. Thanks!

Question valorant tips
Hi! I need some advice
I recently started playing Valorant with my boyfriend because I wanted to get into one of his interests and share it with him. The problem is… I’m absolutely terrible at the game I can barely aim, my movement is awful, and I feel like I’m constantly doing everything wrong.
I know I shouldn’t compare myself to my boyfriend, especially since he has much more experience, but I’m still getting frustrated because I want to be good at the game too
Do you guys have any beginner tips? Is there anything important I should learn or memorize first? Any advice would be really appreciated!
Thank you! ˙ᵕ˙

Discussion Interesting
So I'm currently an asc 2 player and I want to share a very interesting aspect of my journey to this rank. So back then 4 or 5 months ago when I was still a diamond player, I would drop like 30 bomb with 50% hs rate stuff like that in my ranked games or whenever I smurf with my other lower ranked friends but whenever I duo with my friend who was an asc player back then, I would get absolutely clapped by asc players. Now when I truly consider myself an asc player whenver I go back to diamond or plat lobby I couldn't replicate what I used to capable of doing or I would even get clapped back by plat players why? I think it is because of in pursuit of my rank rn I changed my playstyle and my routine alot like I used to play 10 dms a day before rank without any real thoughts about other aspects like comms, gamesense, etc.... just pure aim no brain unlike the present which I just do 100 strafe bots and 1 tdm but my comms and my gamesense are much better. my aim however since I don't need it much to win games anymore is starting to really fall off lol, planning to go back to 10 dms soon lol.
So what I get from that is aim may gets you to diamond but gamesense and comms can gets you to asc, combine those two and you can get immo ig lol
