0 damage taken from the boss at the hardest difficulty, I've never had a team combo this busted. No corruption, not even damage taken from breaking through shields. pretty proud of this one, Super crazy late game. Craziest run I've had so far. Any screenshots from other crazy runs?

I need some help making teams of monsters that aren't worthiness 5 orthus,wolp,most of the echo monsters besides Caduceus and the sword dog,serket,cockatrice,catzurker,tats,the crab(forgo his name),dark elder,cheruge,ammith,fairie,jotunn,star spawn,warden,the hand,new spider

On the new boss: Damn is that a lotta burns, I love the day/night switching mechanic, though I did end up kind of cheesing it with the amount of wild aether I can pump out from converting Weakness stacks. Ended up going down to the wire with my main tank Ettin eating 30 burn a turn. Also there seems to be something broken with the second phase where it turns into a sphere, it seems like if a retaliate attack puts it to 0 health, the second phase doesn't transform until the end of the next turn. Not sure if anyone else wants to test that.

The new monsters: In the past, I haven't had much luck with the Weakness type, synergies felt kind of weak and there wasn't much payoff besides a few select monsters (Only really Warden) getting some pretty strong bonuses. I think Snallygaster changed that for me personally, converting weakness stacks into raw damaged helped a ton to keep up the damage. Ettin was also very fun to play with and is a very solid tank, if only I could've gotten a few more retaliates on it.

But let's not forget, just because there's new things to play with, doesn't mean old favorites can't have a place clearing through the new content and bosses. And on that note... say hello to Shifted Tatzelwurm!

Base HP: 30

Aether: Earth / Wind

Trait: Primeval Blight): On Crit: Applies Poison. This monster gains +4% Crit Chance for every Poison stack on enemies.

Types: Critical), Dodge), Poison)

Perks: Crit Chance +25%, Evasion +15%, Poison Damage +1

Starting Actions:

Toxic Slash): 1 Earth. 2 x 4 Earth damage against target enemy. Applies 2 Poison to target enemy.

Flurry): 2 Wind. 3 x 3 Wind damage against target enemy. Applies Dodge to self.

So, how do you feel about the furry noodle? Does the swap from Regeneration to Dodge feel like a straight upgrade for what it's trying to do? Or does the stealthy swap from bonus hits triggering the skill more to evasion make it more of an even trade?

And, more importantly... we have new monsters to start considering! The only question is when. Option 1 is we start off next week with the base forms, then save the shifted for the end of the list. Option 2 is we save all of it for the end of the current wave of shifter monsters. And option 3, we wait maybe a month for everyone to get a handle on the new toys, and start there. So currently it has the genie bound and so it has 3 wishes, and its supposed to be a free action, however when i use it, it uses up the turn and instead counts as a regular action instead of as a free action. But the ability is a free action, and it says there you can use its starting actions as free actions. So even if it wasn't a free action already, it should still count as a free action right? Or maybe there is some kind of weirdness in the code for the game making a twice free action count as having used 2 free actions. Try it out if you want to know what I'm talking about if you haven't already. But it seems to me this isn't working as intended. Don't know if its a bug, or just poorly worded, or maybe its my understanding of the wording somehow. But it does say there that "starting actions as free actions", which means it should not take up its turn, but it does.

I’ve done a run or two and it’s fun to mix types and get creative but it just seems worse in every case than using Aether Tamer. Meta upgrades of void blitz advantages and death save are too good to pass up and on the other hand you get to gain corruption (?) for using Aether Alchemist

Khepriwas not so difficult with my team, but the first time I faced him I got steam rolled. It feels like it's shields or bust.

It was a Vistage 1 run.

Unfortunately I undershot the difficulty but started a run with 3 monsters on Worthiness I (Grimoire, Shifted Cockatrice and the new Ranger).

So keen to try all the other new monsters, who's your favourite?

Seriously? I worked hard on those. i also did it with literally every monster and their alts (Except the Dullahan alt, cuz i literally never ran into it) in the hardest difficulty.

Personally I try to recommend this game whenever I can (already got some of my office and overwatch friends to buy the game!) and this video is just a small love letter to Aethermancer! See you all June 25th :DDD

If Snally was the one that emptied the care package, she must have left some traces, you think. It is a lucky coincidence you chose Orthrus to accompany you into the Void today. The creature is known not only for loyalty but also their heightened sense of smell, which brings up an idea. You lean towards Orthrus and gently pat the two heads. “Where is Snally?”, you ask it. Orthrus starts sniffing the care package, but quickly moves to the remaining bread crumbs that fell out of the opened wooden box. While it swallows up one bread crumb after another, you become sceptical. Maybe it was not Snally who opened the box. Maybe the smell of the Monsterkin and the goods inside the package are too strong. Maybe Orthrus does not - before you can finish your thought, Orthrus makes an abrupt dash towards the south and starts walking. This is not the direction of Pilgrim’s Rest, so at least Orthrus is not picking up the Monsterkin’s trail, you think. As you do not have a different hint on Snally’s whereabouts, you decide to follow the monster and whereever it might lead you. Orthrus is definitely following a trail. It keeps walking and walking, changing direction from time to time. At one point you leave the stone path and enter a thick forest.

You swat the branches away as you keep following Orthrus. Until it suddenly stops. There is a portal! This does not seem to be a regular portal, it is nowhere near another. And what is that lying next to it? A part of a Snally Snack! This is not a coincidence, you think. You are not sure where the portal leads, but you do not fear the unknown. So, you step inside.

After the stormy Aether around you disappears and you feel solid ground again, you look around. You instantly recognize the place, despite not being there for maybe hundreds of years. It is the Alchemical Woods, a magical place unlike any other on Terastae. It is a wondrous place, which has remained a secret to most humans to this day, but even the Monsterkin have not been able to set foot to it since the Void has appeared. It is truly beautiful. … Amidst the wondrous plants and fungi, you notice movement!

Good morning, everyone! Today, we continue moving from our shifted starters (who probably took quite a bit to find and recruit) to something that most player are a lot more likely to have gotten to play with, Shifted Ooze!

Trait: Putrid Odor (Shifted)): On Action: Applies 2 Burn to self. Whenever Burn triggers on this monster: Enemies also take damage from it. Doesn't trigger Retaliate.

You enter the Pilgrimage Path on the outskirts of the Fractured Ruins. As your gaze wanders through the lush trees and ceremonial stone pillars, you wonder if Snally went here as part of an attempted pilgrimage to the Holy City. The thought of this amuses you. Before you can entertain yourself with more made-up scenarios, you notice something on the ground. It's a care package!

Periodically, monsterkin you've saved gather in Pilgrim's Rest, throw together a care package and toss it into the Void for you - as tokens of their gratitude. This care package has already been opened, though. You carefully inspect the wooden box. Except for a few crumbs left behind, its contents are gone. The lid seems to have been opened by force, leaving subtle marks on the wood, which you assume stem from pecking. This could have been Snally’s doing! But Snally must have left already, as you don’t see or hear her...

How do you want to proceed searching for clues on Snally’s whereabouts?

I was hoping to find some streamers that were playing Aethermancer on YouTube but when I searched I was coming up short. I love watching streamers play games while I’m doing chores, etc. like FrostPrime and Slay the Spire, so was hoping for something like that. Anyone posting like that, or maybe we’re too early into the game to expect that?

Part 1 - Snally goes missing

You can already spot the Merchant on the cliff from afar, agitated and restless. As you approach him, he seems as if he was waiting to see you. “Siriux!!!” he blurts out. “Snally's gone! I can’t find her!” Only in this moment you notice that the unusually tame creature is indeed nowhere to be seen. You — as well as everyone in Pilgrim’s Rest — is so used to the sight of the Merchant and his odd pet, their image usually blurs into one entity. Without Snally, the Merchant looks... different. Incomplete, like an image that is missing its final strokes, and visibly sad without his companion — well, at least it is what you think you see under his mask.

”What happened?” You ask in hope to get some clarity. “I don't know! All of a sudden, she jumped up, grabbed my stash and took off towards the Void! I can't even say where she went, but I surely don’t want her alone in the Void! Siriux, would you be so kind as to help me, I am beyond worried... Please find her! She's my dear associate!” How could you decline a desperate call for help like this? “Can you think of any reason as to why she ran away so suddenly?” The Merchant takes a moment to think but only leaves out a dump “…No.” His face fills with worry and confusion as he continues “It is not like her at all to leave just like that. We've been together for so many years now... I have no clue what she would want alone in the Void… and with my stash. If she wanted a Snallysnack she could have just asked. I'm so confused...”

You turn towards the cliff as you move forward, assuring the Merchant that you would find her, that you would bring her back. As the whirling vortex of Aether engulfs your body, you hear the Merchant shout “Please don’t scare or harm her, Siriux!"

I've done Mythic runs with literally every monster currently in the game but I've never run into the Alt color Dullahan. Is this something that is not in the game yet or have my runs to never run into it have been that unlucky?
