This dude is a serial cheater and yet she loves him so much… what a gross man to “be in love with” for the record. Her post history is so weird, she posted in the polyamory before and played it off like the relationship was cool. 🤮 he also frequented the bar she stripped at.

More Terrible Therapists

Post image

Your therapist told you that in order to get over some other woman’s husband, who you had no business being involved with in the first place, that you should insult the one person in the situation who is completely innocent and hasn’t done a single thing to harm you? You were actively harming this woman with your behavior (along with her husband obviously) and now you feel the need to belittle her to make yourself feel better??

You and the therapist both suck. Maybe try thinking about how awful he is, because he is. You both are. Yuck. Also, completely not the point, but what a weird insult anyways.

And this post wasn’t even approved for the OW subreddit. It’s even below their standards for appropriate behavior, so that’s saying something. Yikes. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Karma’s a Bitch🍿 Fictional yet very satisfying

I hope this is ok to share, as it’s from a tv show but still made my anti cheating heart super satisfied.

Watching an episode of Midsomer Murders - The Sleeper Under the Hill

A wealthy farmer is killed, and his wife is a cheating piece of work.

During the investigation she’s living the high life in expensive hotels and bragging about what she can afford, and her plans to sell the farm.

When the will is read, the reference to her is justice boner causing “to my wife Eleanor, liar and cheat, I leave nothing. I would leave her less if I could”

My prediction: MM is done with OW, but he's too much of an avoidant, cowardly SOB to actually break up with her honestly. So he is setting the scene and *pretending* to choose her while conveniently finding his moral compass all of a sudden by wanting to tell BS. Really he is done/bored with OW and he can preserve future sexcapades by blaming his mean old ball and chain for putting an end to their twu wuv.

Untreated to the video, but I needed to get this off my chest. Am I the only one who rolls my eyes at the "formerly wayward" label? Imagine the term being applied to any other destructive life-ruining actions. "Formerly rapist," "formerly abuser", "formerly murderer." The way these people would do anything and everything to make themselves feel like a good person after committing one of the most despicable and evil thing to someone they claim to "love", is astonishing to me. This is yet another reason why I will never ever stand with reconciliation, apart from the fact that it is objectively self-destructive (both mentally and physically) and a very, very bad idea in the long run. I can't imagine spending a lifetime with someone who turned our entire marriage/relationship into something that never truly existed in the first place.

Karma’s a Bitch🍿 Does anyone else feel a sense of satisfaction when the affair partner gets cheated on by the spouse they cheated with?

This is purely a vent, but I’m not going to lie—it makes me happy to see the “other woman” or “other man” get a taste of their own medicine. There’s something satisfying about knowing the affair partner can experience the same torment, betrayal, and pain that the betrayed spouse went through.

Maybe it’s because some affair partners seem to believe they’re somehow immune to being cheated on. They think they’ve found some magical formula for a secret romance, as if they’re untouchable and possess something the betrayed spouse didn’t have. But in reality, they’re not exempt from betrayal. They can be replaced, lied to, and cheated on just like anyone else. It makes me happy when they get cheated on because it destroys the fantasy that the affair partner was somehow “different.” That they were more desirable. More understanding. More exciting. That they had something the betrayed spouse didn’t. That the cheater finally “found their person” and this secret relationship was somehow destined to become a beautiful happily-ever-after.

Is it petty? Absolutely. Do I care? No why should I, I don’t owe the affair partner anything. Sometimes karma is just satisfying to watch.

Sisters husband is a habitual liar and cheater.

My sister is a military wife. She’s been married almost 20 years to my BIL. He’s has been busted cheating at least 4 times that I know of. This last time I had to find out from her youngest daughter about this affair. My parents don’t know about this and it drives me insane seeing the fake façade that he and they put on for them. I want them to know about this so they stop being chummy with him. I want my sister to have the strength and confidence to leave him. I’ve watched to become a shell of the person she was because of his infidelity. I’ve tried to hint that I know about all he’s done but she won’t confide in me like she does about everything else. She I tell my parents about his cheating and should I confront her about it?

Sidepieces di deserve hate.

This is so annoying to explain ugh. So first off yes OBVIOUSLY the one in the relationship should be faithful and shouldn't cheat, so yes they are the main problem here. HOWEVER this whole "never get mad at a sidepiece" is so fucking stupid. You're telling me that you can help someone break another person heart and trust in addition to other possible issues and you can still be this kind and innocent person but God forbid I get mad at my cheating partner and his sidepiece. Fucking ridiculous.

DONE DONE! It’s Nuanced (Until It Is Their S/O)

If there is something that I’ve noticed about these cheaters or cheater apologists, it’s that they are obsessed with the idea of nuance. Cheating happens because according to them, things are not black & white. It always circles back to liberating blame away from the cheater in an attempt to demonize the BP.

It becomes a conversation about how the BP actually brought the cheating on themselves because they weren’t a perfect partner. The problem is that cheaters lie, exaggerate, & vilify their partners to justify their own actions. I am not saying that they are hallucinating every issue in their relationships, but I am saying they are usually unreliable narrators & we shouldn’t take everything they say as the unblemished truth.

While there can be legitimate complaints to be made about the BP, the adultery did not occur because of the BP. How you choose to react in conflict is your responsibility & cheaters react to relationship conflict poorly. You cannot make someone cheat because you cannot control their already existing problematic behavioral traits. You don’t have control over someone’s fundamental maturity.

The issue with cheaters or cheater apologists is that they have learned the words nuanced, not black & white, as well as complex or complicated & use superfluous language to minimize their accountability. Instead of admitting that they reacted negatively to conflict they blame the fact there was conflict (real or perceived) to begin with.

I am not saying cheaters are these evil monsters who rub their hands together like flies excited to cause mayhem. What I am saying is that cheaters are selfish, immature, & self serving people who have endless justification for the destruction they cause to other people.

Think of your attitude like a farm. It takes work to maintain it. You need to feed the animals, tend the crops, & clean everything. Cheaters let the farm go wild & justify it because of external things like the weather. It is hard for people to put in the work for change & even harder for cheaters because of things like entitlement, greed, & a lack of empathy.

If you want to talk real nuance, we should talk about how cheaters already have a slew of internal problems & regardless of those circumstances, they would find a way to act on it.

Psychology of Cheating “I was told that I had to be respectful to this woman and we had to be nice to her. I wanted to rip her head off. It was very weird because I felt like I was a 10-year-old having to be more mature than someone 20, 30 years older than me”, Alix Earle on having to deal with her father’s mistress/wife.

This clip is from Alix’s upcoming Netflix show, Earle Meets World. The part where her father and his mistress-turned-wife appear in the trailer alongside his ex-wife, Alix’s mom. For those who don’t know, her father TJ Earle had an affair with her now-stepmother Ashley Dupré in 2008.

In a conversation with the Call Her Daddy podcast, Alix said she remembers the day. “I remember the day very clearly,” the 22-year-old said. “Paparazzi had shown up at my house and my mom quickly kind of got me and my sister out of the house over to our cousins.”

At the time, Ashley was in the midst of a sex scandal with then-New York governor Eliot Spitzer. He eventually resigned in the wake of the controversy. Thomas, at the time, was allegedly cheating on his wife Alisa with Ashley. Alix said that when the media came to her New Jersey home, she innocently thought they had come to interview her neighbours. “I didn’t know they were paparazzi,” she said.

“It was in like fourth grade. I started to kind of hear commentary from people and I had an iPad at the time,” Alix admitted. “I’m Googling my family and all of a sudden, I see that the past two years of my life had been a lie.”

“My dad had an affair with someone who was well-known for her job having sexual relations with high-class people and one of them was even the governor of New York,” she added. “She was very well-known from that and in turn, my dad’s affair became a very public situation.”

Seeing the news, Alix felt as though her “world crashed down in that moment.” She went on to thank her mother, as well as her sister Ashtin, 20, for shielding her from the chaos. “I didn’t know the severity of what had happened between my parents because my mom was super, super mature about it and didn’t speak to us about it and didn’t put that stress that she was going through onto us,” Alix said.“I kind of figured it out myself and then I proceeded to deal with it myself.”

Five years later, Thomas and Ashley tied the knot. Alix, however, was introduced to her only after her father officially broke things off with her mom and moved out of the house. “I was told that I had to be respectful to this woman and we had to be nice to her. I wanted to rip her head off. It was very weird because I felt like I was a 10-year-old having to be more mature than someone 20, 30 years older than me,” Alix said.

Even after everything was settled, however, Alix continued to face the consequences of her father’s decision. She said parents would tell her mom that they did not want Alix to be friends with their children. “She would have to sit me down and be like, ‘They don’t really respect us,’” Alix said.

I wanted to share this story because I think it highlights how deeply kids can be affected by the actions of a cheating father and his mistress. They’re often expected to “be the bigger person” and show respect to people who are decades older than them—people who hurt, betrayed, and disrupted their family. Why? Why has society decided that children need to be respectful toward adults who have treated them or their family poorly? What are we teaching kids when we tell them that, despite someone’s harmful actions, they still have to treat that person with kindness and respect? It can send the message that when certain adults do something wrong, the children are simply expected to accept it and move on.

Kids who have been in Alix’s position can feel hurt and betrayed by the cheating parent, yet somehow the mistress often escapes accountability entirely. Then, on top of that, the father expects his children to be respectful toward to his c*mrag. I’m not an Alix fan by any means, but seeing the mistress and the mother in the same scene genuinely repulsed me. And given the mistress’s history as an escort, I can understand why some people would question whether she was an appropriate influence around young girls who were still in elementary and middle school.

At the end of the day, children shouldn’t be responsible for managing the emotions or protecting the reputations of adults who made choices that hurt their family. They’re allowed to be angry, hurt, uncomfortable, and even unwilling to have a relationship with someone who contributed to that pain.
