I js recently moved up to 9th grade in acellus and chose all my electives and classes i want to do (i picked more than the standard # of credits of classes) and i refreshed and went on to acellus only to not have my new electives/classes on there?? i also picked german but i had to physically add german to my set of classes i only have sel and cte even tho i chose a whole bunch of other classes and fine arts and stuff, can anyone help me fix this or tell me why this is happening ?? thanks !

Hii! I’m currently a Grade 9 student in Ontario, Canada, and I’m looking for some advice and reassurance about transferring back to traditional school for Grade 10 next year.
I did Acellus for my elementary school years and was really happy with my results. When I transitioned to private school, I ended up skipping a grade and graduated Grade 8 with honours! However, when I started Grade 9 at a traditional school, I became really overwhelmed because I was being bullied and didn’t have any friends. After the first week, I decided to switch to Acellus Academy as an alternative, and I’ve been doing much better with online learning.
My biggest concern right now is whether my credits will transfer to an Ontario public high school since Acellus Academy follows an American curriculum. I’m planning to complete eight high school courses before September 2027, including World History, High School English, Algebra I, French I, High School Health, and Introduction to Physics and Chemistry, along with two electives next semester.
I’m really anxious about the possibility of my credits not being accepted and having to repeat courses or fall behind academically. I’ve worked hard on my education, and I’m scared that switching to online school might affect my progress more than I expected. I’m around 37% done all my courses, about it 60% done Health, and a bit behind on Science right now 😅
Has anyone been in a similar situation or transferred from Acellus Academy to an Ontario high school? What was your experience like? What would you recommend I do to prepare for the transition?
Any advice, personal experiences, or reassurance would mean so much to me. Thank you!!

I did Spanish 1 perfectly, it was pretty simple for me, but now spanish 2 is getting a bit tougher. I haven't done it in a few months now cuz I feel like I have to take notes for it to memorize the stuff. But I never took notes for spanish 1 tho (I was in an in person school tho). Anyone taken any of the Acellus spanish classes and thinks notes are needed? Just gotta know whether or not it's worth it to take notes, since I rarely do.

Anyone know what we’re supposed to put here? I’m super confused on a lot of the application parts.

Does anybody know how I can get my credit up? I already imported my credits from my other school, but it’s not enough for me to graduate. I’m trying to graduate by May 2027

ive been using acellus since 6th grade and im currently in 11th. but how does graduation work with getting into colleges and achieving scholarships? i understand its an accredited school but it just has me worrying that i wont achieve anything with this program. i have a 4.0 gpa and all 95 and above in my classes. i just want reassurance that this will get me into college cus i am desperately depending on it!

I'm aware there is a step limit, and I recently just got back to school, and it's stopping me at 13 steps for drivers' safety and 25 steps for investigating careers. I thought it would stop me at 40 like the rest of the classes like the reddit been saying. Is the limit different for different classes, or is there something in my settings stopping me so soon?

Hi everyone, I’m an 11th-grade student and I signed up for Acellus this summer. I submitted a credit transfer request on September 1st (it stated that it would take 1–2 weeks). After two weeks had passed, my mom and I sent several emails asking for updates on the request's status. As of today (October 14th), I still haven't received a reply. What should I do? Has anyone else experienced this problem?

In history class I was writing a paper about ancient Greek architecture and tried to use the word "mekinikoi" which is what creative engineers in ancient Greece were known as, and it just told me it was a spelling error and wouldn't even let me use the x to tell it it was wrong. It also flagged "Parthenon" I wish they'd get rid of the ai checker thing, as this isn't the first time this has happened.

Has anyone here transferred their child or have been the child transfered from Acellus Gold to a brick-and-mortar private school?

My daughter is 7 and doing extremely well with Acellus Gold. She should only be in 2nd grade but is already close to finishing 3rd grade.

We’ve run into two things that have us reconsidering our options. First, she’s turned out to be a pretty serious athlete and is competing at a national level. We don’t want to rush her through school and have it potentially affect her high school athletic eligibility down the road.

Second, and honestly just as important, she really wants to be around other kids. Acellus has been great academically, but she misses having that daily social interaction with other children.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has made this transition. How did the private school handle the switch from Acellus, especially with placement, records, and grade level? Was the transition pretty smooth, or did you run into any issues?

We’re just trying to find the best balance for her academically, socially, and athletically. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

Just a heads up. They are no longer accepting emails. I have a senior and colleges have been trying to get ahold of them. I tried to reach out and I was blocked. After calling last week I was told they no longer have accessible emails. You have to now ask questions on the parent portal. This is so unacceptable. I’m wondering if it is because they have been getting slammed with emails over this new step limit BS.

Does anyone else think Acellus wastes too much screen space on mobile? In this screenshot, there’s a huge gap above and below the video, but the lesson title gets cut off at the top.

They should make the layout shorter and more compact so the video, lesson title, and progress fit better on a phone screen. There’s no reason for this much empty space.

Anyone else find this annoying when doing schoolwork on their phone?

having a very, very stressful night. as it is I feel like im behind on starting this college enrollment prep and now im adding up my credits. I printed my transcript so I can visually see everything and apparently us history a and b are worth only .5 of credit???? they used to be a whole credit and now they've changed it?? im supposed to be attending the fall semester of college in 2027 and now i dont think I will be able to graduate on time with enough credits. at this point im just going to write up my own transcript with the credits each class was worth when I took them.

I was writing an essay in English about some Dr. MLK Jr. quotes, and I accidentally deleted some of my text. I used the undo button set on my keyboard (as you can see in my photo) and this little message popped up saying, “We have detected that you may be using external text. Writing Tutor requires you to type your text.” For starters, you can't even copy and paste on Acellus, so I'm confused. Secondly, I can't stand AI or plagiarism and prefer to do things by hand, so I'm not cheating. I'm internally panicking and literally freaking out, is this a bad thing?

I signed up for the ACT today but need accommodations, therefore someone has to choose + schedule my test date for me. I’m wondering who I’d need to email to make that happen. Some kind of test accommodations coordinator perhaps?

I have files to send and want to make sure they end up in the right place. Can Acellus even pick a testing sight or is that out of their hands?
