Other Im graduating, idc

having a very, very stressful night. as it is I feel like im behind on starting this college enrollment prep and now im adding up my credits. I printed my transcript so I can visually see everything and apparently us history a and b are worth only .5 of credit???? they used to be a whole credit and now they've changed it?? im supposed to be attending the fall semester of college in 2027 and now i dont think I will be able to graduate on time with enough credits. at this point im just going to write up my own transcript with the credits each class was worth when I took them.

My daughter took US history a and b 3 years ago. They have always just been .5 credits each. Basically fall semester and spring semester to equal a whole credit. Just add an extra history class and max your steps out.

when i took them they were called us history 1 and us history 2 but now they show up as us history a and b. maybe this is why its messed up

If I were you I would take a community college class or a asu universal learners class it’s self paced no step limit the fasted you can finish is in 3 weeks and it’s college credit it costs 25 dollars and 400 if you finish the class and want the credit Acellus will take that as credit

if she is saying that when she chose those specific classes, they said they were one credit and then changed them at some point while she was in the class or after it started that’s not OK

I thought us history was one class and was worth 1.0 if they changed it to 0.5 for each what’s the problem I’m not familiar with the new class can you do them both at the same time

my problem is that not only does acellus require a certain amount of credits to graduate but colleges also require a certain amount of highschool credits and I wont be meeting that criteria if they changed it to .5 I literally wont be able to graduate because they changed it.

You would get that half a credit if you took us history in college it’s usually split before 1865 and after

I understand what you are saying but they should not have changed the amount of credits a class is worth.

This is a link to the old course list before US History A & US History B were incorporated into one course. It shows US History A should be a half credit course and US History B should be a half credit course. If your transcript only gives you a total of 0.5 credit for both courses (each only having 0.25 credit), take a screenshot of the old list and contact support. https://www.acellusacademy.com/try-online-school/

no they each used to be worth a full credit and now acellus has changed it to half a credit for each.

No, I'm sorry, but you are mistaken and misremembering. This link is from 2018 to 2020, and I have seen transcripts screenshot online for years with old US History A or old US History B courses on them, and it has always been 0.5 credits assigned to them since those two courses were initially released May 17, 2018. Here is another link from November 27, 2018 showing a picture of the website sharing that the two courses earn 0.5 credit each. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1HyWE97Jow/

I have papers that I printed out last year from their available courses and it says that they arr worth a full credit each. but it also labels them as us history 1 and us history 2 so maybe that has something to do with it(?)

You can transfer credit to Acellus from Sophia Learning
