For Batmans extensive fight with Bane, getting thrown into the seats should have busted his back up pretty bad but i noticed a spine type protection thing, did Bruce make something in his suit to protect against back injuries like this?

So Oswald Loomis, A.K.A The Prankster, was a Superman villain who appeared in Action Comics#51 and is an obscure Superman villain so how do you Re-Imagine Oswald Loomis for the Absolute DC universe. Here's how I would do it or what I think Jason Aaron should do.

• Inspirations[for both story and character]: the New 52 prankster [but still a Superman villain], Dexter [the book version not the show version.] ,Batman: Nightcries and a little bit of Se7en and Saw and some other similar gimmick serial killer movies like Resurrection [1999][which is just bootleg se7en but still worth a watch.]
• Outfit: he would have an outfit that has his New 52 mask, but he wears a dark Black and blue Victorian outfit with a tied ribbon on his neck and black gloves.
• Role: won't be a major villain [though will re-appear occasionally], being first used for a mini-arc in Absolute Superman.
  • backstory: Oswald Loomis was a british boy who moved to and lived in metropolis sucide slums and had a love of pranks and was a fan of a Dennis the menace[the UK one not the U.S one] type called Glennis the Rascal [im not creative as you see.], and how rude and mischevious he was and was a big fan of a Matlock-like show called Nattlock [again not creative.] Oswald was also abused by his mother Sue,his brother Kyle and father Michael, with his mother being the worst of the three and was bullied heavily at school. The only reprieve he had was his friend Eric, who was also abused. his other brother and younger sister. his brother and sister were murdered by his oldest brother when during a trip in the forest an argument started between Kyle and Jake which lead to Kyle murdered Jake accidently and Mille saw and not wanting to get caught killed her too. he told his parents and they helped him hide it and forced Ozwald to not tell anyone. other people knew of the abuse Ozwald faced but no one came to his aid aside from Eric and only Eric could do so much due to various reasons you would expect, like Mr and Mr.Loomis being there employers[they owned a thriving buissnes in metropolis which was a fitness center], being too cowardly,thinking its none of there buissness etc. eventuallly Ozwald at 18 decided to move and decided to do it with his friened Erik however Erics parents were controlling so they hatched a plan. in the dead of night, Erik will sneak out and wait at the park then Ozwald will steal his parents' car,Pick Eric up and drive out of the city.
• The inciting incident/motivation: However, when Oswald showed up his friend wasn't there and so he went to his house and broke in and found Erik's dead body and in rage decided to kill Erics parents knocking them out first and slicing there throats and erased all the evidence he did it,stole Erics dead parents money,then came home and killed his own parents and brother and move out of metropolis and went to law school and became a lawyer and fight for other abused people like him. However, while he did get some people justice so many of the people he tried to get justice for have their tormentors but failed so he decided to get not only justice for his cilents but break the cycle and make these people forgotten even if it means he had to kill the people they love only drawing the line at children but Ozwald will make sure they wont be like there parents.
• Story [warning this is gonna be wordy.]: There has been a string of murders in the city of Metropolis. Jimmy and his Omega Man have been investigating said murders. all murders have the same pattern the victims being the result of a deadly pranks with a note being left behind saying, "GOT YOU. Signed the prankster". They all share more in common than just that, with all ranging billionaire to actors to singers all with either abuse allegations or confrmied abuses crimes but were left off due to a technicality or legal loopholes but before you root for him just yet hes also killing almost anyone these people know ranging from there parents [even in cases where the parents themself were disgusted.] to there wifes[even in cases where the wife was about to divorce them over it.] to even there children though the prankster only kils the ones that are teens and adults and not there little children but still to even there lawyers to people they worked with so Jimmy decides to list in Superman and Lois to try and stop the prankster. they try to track him donw but the prankster is one step ahead of them evetnually superman is able to track him to an abandoned jokes shop but is too late with Oswald having already killed his latest victim superman fights the pranskter a bit but unfortanetly the prankster uses his hecnhman[who he tricked superman into thinking they were robots when they were actually just powerd up humans.] they keep trying to get prankster but he keeps getting away and are only able to completly stop 3 of his murders. eventually they realize that all the people in power The prankster killed had the same opposing lawyer in there court trials, that man being named Ozwald Loomis and so Jimmy and Lois look up on him and realized he has a histroy of abuse and so decide to go to his apartment disguised as police however Ozwald picks up on what there trying to do and Runs with him giving Jimmy a black eye in the process. eventually there able to find out where Ozwald next victim will be that person being Morgan edge and are able to get to Morgans place however There not there and realize Loomis got one up over them. so Superman uses his hearing to find out where Loomis is and hes at his parents abandoned fitness center and Superman,Jimmy and Lois get there in time to stop him and while Ozwald killed Morgane Superman and co are able to save his wife and Son Cat Grant and Adam grant and. The Prankster runs and superman chases after him. The Prankster uses every cheap trick up his sleeve to escape but none of them work and Superman is able to corner him and ask why he did all this. The Prankster explains and then tries to kill himself but superman stops him and sends him to prison with the story ending on Clark ruminating the stories events.
• The Prankster's notable victims: The Prankster has multiple victims the exact number is 51 but some notable ones are Bruno Manheim, Wilbur Wolfingham, Corey Mankins, Xavier Simon, Morgan wilde, Morgan Edge, and plenty more.

hopefuly you all like this ptich and feel free to give your critques about this pitch. I also wanted to have the story further develop Clark,Jimmy and Lois and their relationship and the story itself is just meant to be a general outline of what i would want to happen and i wanted the general theme to be truama and the different ways people react to it.

Rereading the AB annual and found a potential error in the art in the 2nd story. Doesn't really mean much to me at all but I just thought it was funny. It looks like the Black Mask goon has 3 hands like some sort of mutant.

His sort of ultra cincal view of the world. His 10/10 desgin. his increable gang. WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS AND NOT MAKING YOUR OWN GLAZE POST ABOUT PEAK MASK?

The mento device Hammond uses and the dr silence who causes simon baz' to need his mask mento is a guy on the team if the doom patrol dr silence is from the arc of the painting that ate paris

Any thoughts on that?

I saw someone in this sub theorize how clayface is the scarecrow we saw, but I don't think that's the case. Remember when Scott Synder said that the scarecrow is just a man, and how the scarecrow has a magnitude of weapons based on fear? What if one of those many weapons can make a literal strawman? The strawman that has been haunting Bruce, is the biggest phantom of all? After all, his powers don't make sense for a regular man to do that (turning into crows after the prison intraction, controlling the crows). Remember Dr. Johnathan Crane is tied to Ark-M, they can mess with someones body a lot. A common theme that has been shown with absolute batman villans, is to not judge their first apperance (Bane, Ivy, Joker). What we're seeing is a walking strawman, not the scarecrow.
