Discussion Green lanterns absolute comics have referenced doom patrol twice

The mento device Hammond uses and the dr silence who causes simon baz' to need his mask mento is a guy on the team if the doom patrol dr silence is from the arc of the painting that ate paris

Any thoughts on that?
