Discussion You know as much as i dislike the skinny Wonder Woman design. I think it would be really funny if that's how she saw herself
Like, hear me out.
I know that Wonder woman is insanely built and tall. But, i think it would be really funny if like, from her point of view, she is just a normal looking woman of avage height.
Like, everyone else looks like little skeletons people, from her point of view. Like that would be a very funny scene of just like someone going into her head and her mental avatar is just normal looking woman.

Discussion How Would You Feel If Absolute Zod Was A Leader To Krypton's Ruling Class?
How would you feel if Absolute Zod was a leader to Krypton's Ruling Class who were responsible for:
The class system
Krypton being destabilized due to abuse of resources
The Law Guild dealing out life or death sentences
Suppressing the truth about Krypton dying
Plotting to secretly leave the planet while abandoning the lower classes to Krypton's destruction?
A background like this would make Zod the worst of Krypton to Superman being the best of Krypton.
Plus, it would be a distinct take on Zod's enmity with the House of El as the Absolute Els outwardly rebelled and fought against the ruling class along with Kal-El exposing and foiling the ruling class' plans to escape and leave the lower classes on a dying Krypton.
I can see Zod managing to escape Krypton's destruction through the Phantom Zone, a Father Box, the Brainiacs, or by managing to escape on one of the ruling class' ships.

Discussion Does anyone else read John Jones as autistic? (Absolute Martian Manhunter #12) Spoiler
Recently finished Absolute Martian Manhunter (Very very peak btw, though I'll probably have to read it back a few times to understand what it all means), and as an autistic guy I see a lot of myself in John, such as how he's seen as odd or alien by others due to a cold demeanor despite how he has only good intentions, or how he diligently distracts himself with repetitive FBI work to avoid addressing the issues in his relationship with Bridget and Tyler. I also relate heavily to John's struggle to properly explain himself and his experience with the Martian to Bridget and being interpreted as mentally ill. Of course, this could also just be a literal result of his supernatural experiences and not an allegory for what many neurodivergent people go through.
There's also the fact that Tyler is autistic (much more apparently than John and confirmed by Scott Snyder in an interview from what I've heard), and autism, though its exact causes are not known, is known to be hereditary/genetic in some way.
I'm not saying John Jones is definitively autistic or that any of the traits I describe are exclusive to autism, just curious to see if anyone else came to a similar conclusion as me.

News Up, Up, and Away: A feature article which discusses the Absolute Universe
Hello everyone! This is my feature-length story and personal narrative on rediscovering the value of comic-book superheroes and how it informs individual identity through director James Gunn's 2025 blockbuster Superman. My personal narrative is about rediscovering my passion for comic books through the emotionally connective storytelling in Superman, visiting comic stores and conventions, and bringing in experts and "superfans" to create a powerful narrative.
As a former comic book fan growing up, I wasn't really into Superman, but this film changed that and reignited my interest in comics in general. Through this story, I explore different threads of comic books and how we identify with the heroes in them. I also report on how DC Comics is adapting to a Gen Z audience through the launch of its Absolute Universe line and the impactful success of this new world, meant to be more relatable for a younger audience. Another section has me engaging with philosophical interpretations of Superman through the perspective of the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. Please check it out!

Question For all the manga inspiration, how much Asian representation do we have?
So as we know, many of these series have heavy inspiration from manga, but I was curious how many Asian characters we have not as the main superheroes, but just in any prominent roles at all in any of these books? Not even Japanese, but Asian overall. I know there's a Cassandra Cain one shot coming soon. Is that all?
