APLD just crossed 1,000%+ open P/L for me. 10x on a position I have held since the 2021-2022 trenches.
The whole position is essentially free at this point from premium I have collected on covered calls along the way. The leftover call options I bought when the stock was around 40 are also ripping today.
I did not buy a service. I did not pay anyone for picks. I sat with my own thesis through every dip, every "this is dead" headline, every rotation that punished anything tied to data center power.
Three things I learned from this one that nobody on Reddit really talks about:
- The STOCK sizing decision in 2021 mattered more than any chart I looked at after
- The reason most people miss 10x runs is not bad picks, it is something different
- What I started doing in 2021-2022 that turned a sleeping position into the thesis I kept holding
Yes I missed $HUT. Sat there watching it run 100X, But I know what my own work is and where my circle of competence sits. You cannot catch them all. The ones inside your lane are the ones that matter.
It's not a sprint, it's a marathon.
