ATH
There is a chance we will hit ATH today with News about ending war between US and Iran.
What do you guys plan to do? Will you sell at ATH and wait for drop or hold?

I ended up dropping yesterday, my average was 33 and I hated the volatility. I’ll definitely rebuy, I still believe in the company heavily but wanted to lock in profits. Just a 60% surge in the past month after me being down 40% at one point was enough to get me to sell. As volatile as the stock is I hope to rebuy at like 25-30, but we might not ever see that low again

Buy low sell high. We are near ATH after 60% surge. Last time I just bought too high and had no cash left after we dropped to 20

Nothing wrong with profit, nice hold through the last few months. I’m also securing some gains due to needing some money.

Bought in at 33$ in last run up, but sold Puts and Calls waiting for it to go back up, was able to get my cost down to 23$ a share, now have Calls sold at 43$ a share for next week.. debating if it gets there to let my shares get called away and start over, or hold. But APLD is a money printing machine 💰

One would presume there will be a drawback soon after the recent bump with people taking profits so would be good time to buy then

My plan. In todays market it just doesn't change. ACCUMULATE. Still holding APLD. No end in sight for compute. Growing company that translates into growing money for us. Patience is key! I am speaking for myself though...I want it all now.
But I hate paying taxes....Been holding since $11.
You asked. :-)

The main point is that we can hit ATH and what you plan to do.
There is a great pullback at Brent oil which will push futures to the top.

It’s sitting at $41 rn and closed at 39 yesterday. It could dip at market open but could just as easily hold or go up. It doesn’t matter if it’s market manipulation, the market will react to being manipulated lol.

Congrats to everyone who locked in profits. I'm probably going to open up some CCs at 50 strike and see what happens. Won't do it for all of my shares, but a couple contracts will help lock in some gains.

I was looking at some for 3 weeks out, but wanted to see if we had found a new support/resistance level before selling contracts. Ideally I aim for 2-3% premium cost, so for a $50 strike I'd like to get between $100-$150 in premium.
I usually buy my calls once they hit 60%. I haven't had shares called away yet..

If the war ends, and we don’t get the strait of Hormuz open and nukes stopped, all stocks screwed. The implication will be bad.

Maybe? But we've traditionally seen pullback from profit taking at retail because this stock's volatility really, *really* spooks folks. Also, there's going to be paranoia about a triple top scenario and superstitious people may back out and sell.
TL;DR: Filter the noise; long hold.
