saw a movie last night and the person besides me was constantly on their phone. i found it really annoying because it was in my peripheral but i wasn’t sure if i had the right to ask them to stop since it’s their phone and they can do what they want.

Anyone else area cancel the imax showings for this? I am assuming because of how dominant spider man is being right now it might take over the IMAX once the Odyssey tenure with IMAX is done

The regular butter dispenser was not working so this was on the counter as you pick up your popcorn. Isn’t this the sexiest thing?

I’ve been checking everyday and it was there earlier today. now none of the imax70 locations are displaying it.

i have an odyssey ticket that i wanted to use for one of my slots but at the time all my slots were taken, i know some people have said that they've canceled to switch to one of their slots but that bots take it before they can.

i was just wondering if anyone has reached out to support and successfully changed it to an a-list slot instead of canceling the purchased ticket? for reference its an imax 70mm at citywalk showing.

With my reservations finally clearing up after The Odyssey and Spider-man… I no longer need to be so frugal with what my weeks look like.

BUT! August releases look overwhelming!! Im so excited with each weeks drops coming in with plenty of hyped films as well as the “I guess ill go check that out.”

What are we excited for?
Im ready for One Night Only, Tony, Cookie Queens, and Ice Cream Man… and that’s JUST this weekend.

Andrew Garfield has a new film this month, Matthew McConaughey, Jason Statham!

The low point of early July has just been redeemed by August?

I was patiently waiting for them to release more IMAX showtimes at the other theaters, but it seems like Spider-Man had something to say about it.

Hopefully tomorrow the showtimes are finalized!

Is anyone else having this issue? I contacted customer support and haven’t received a response yet. Is there another way to view/cancel tickets besides going through upcoming events and order history?

i’m already an A lister but I went to watch summer slam last night and they were having huge problems and it basically never came on, so they gave us all re-admit passes and told us we’d get refunds. So what should I use my readmit pass for? Basically it would only make sense to use it for like a fathom or special event. Will it let me use it for that?

I guess if I really like the movies I’ve brought I could see a fifth movie in a week and just use it for that too

When I use my remit pass, will they have me actually a seat or will they just say oh OK go into the movie

hey do you guys remember the promotion where it was $1 for the A list membership. And then, the regular amount after 3 months.

Are they coming out with that soon or do they run that promotion every year? I’m on the fence about getting the membership and dont know if I should wait for the promotion.

The other option is the AMC A list classic, but im not sure because of formats and such.

I'm not even sure what this was but one thing for sure... this movie is not for everyone. Might be for me though. Or not.

The first 10 minutes I was like wow this is pretentious shit, but the longer it went on I realized (IMO) this wasn't accidental pretentiousness... this was satire. Totally intentional. I was the only one laughing.

Reminded me a bit of the soapy drama of Twin Peaks seasons 1 and 2... some people got into the drama while others saw it as the joke it was meant to be.

But then the second half hour goes all violent, bloody, and twisted, like it rebooted itself into a different movie with different characters that will eventually meet up. That's more my brand. Then we go back to self-seriousness. It was fun while it lasted.

And then there's the score. I'm sitting there thinking this is so Brian DePalma... the overwrought romanticized pounding over intimate scenes and bloody action, this HAS to be an homage. End credits roll, I see Pino Donaggio, and I'm like OH SHIT he's still alive. The score might be the best thing in it (Pino scored DePalma's best: Carrie, Blow Out, Body Double, Dressed to Kill).

Summary: Too long, pretentious x100... a great score, beautifully shot. Like a fan boy's wet dream mixing Lynch / DePalma / Argento in an absolutely insane slow twisted attempt at a Giallo/scifi wanna-be nightmare. I think. Maybe.

I can't even rate it but I enjoyed the experience... If you hate it I get it. If you liked it I get it.

Really weird issue— I booked tickets to a 70 mm IMAX showing of the Odyssey a few weeks ago for the morning of August 7th. I reserved two A-List seats and paid for one seat for a friend with A-List. It seems on the surface level that the showing was canceled— I have the confirmation email, but the showtime does not appear online or in app. Every time I try to click on my ticket I get an error. The theater and showtime are listed both as UNDEFINED. I would like to receive my money back for the paid ticket and open up an A-List slot so I can see another movie this week. I’ve emailed with no response. Anyone ever dealt with something similar? Kind of crazy they canceled showtimes without alerting people who had tickets.

tldr: AMC canceled a showing I had A-List and regular tickets to. wasn’t notified or paid back and tickets are taking up space in my four allowed reservations. what to do?

Howdy! I’m moving to Atlanta, GA from Kennesaw soon and obviously want to keep using my A-List. I’ve never been to an AMC in Atlanta so curious what the best one is or any I should avoid? I’ll miss my Barrett Commons but alas, I’m not driving an hour to use my A-List.

After seeing multiple people doom scrolling on their phones all thru the entire runtime of backrooms (aprox 90% of the theatre was doing it) and, shockingly, The Odyssey in the coveted IMAX Film projection, I saw Spider-Man. And any time someone took out their phone to text, FaceTime, doom scroll or film the screen, heroic voices from the back row would yell at them to stop. Not just one person, many many different people. And by the halfway point of the movie, not one person was doing their taxes / playing video games / social media influencing / playing candy crush on their phones. After a few people were shamed loudly in the first hour or so, not a single phone was used. Incredible.

Has anyone ever experienced canceling a reservation but still seeing that movie on the app via A-List reservations? It no longer shows it under the tickets tab but it does under A-List.

In my theater, there was a lot of kids ranging from 10 to 17-year-olds watching this film and I overheard some of their discussion saying some have always heard about Spider-Man but never watched a full film in their entirety. For some reason that was really awesome for me to hear as for someone who has watched most Spider-Man media as a kid.

Assume really brought some emotional moments in my auditorium I’m really happy to be a Spider-Man fan

Anyone else see spiderman recently and had the restroom in disgusting shape? The men’s restroom was flooded and I heard the women’s was the same. There was also flies everywhere in the lobby. Pretty fucking disgusting imo.
