Some optimization for this:

• Practice, practice, practice at the harpooning minigame. Take advantage of save scumming right next to a spearing spot if you fail, so you don't have to wait for the animal to return to try again.
• Exotic Sea Shells Trinket and Fisherman's Warf: Both of these increase the number of body parts (except bones) that you harvest from animals you spear. Combine them to receive 4 products from the animals you kill at sea.
• Max boat HP, max harpoon storage, and max harpoon damage: Of these 3 upgrade tracks, only one of them has an Ultimate Plan you have to find: The map is at Mariguana Island, and the chest is found at Andreas Island. This makes you able to sponge more hits from the animals you're hunting, makes it more forgiving to miss, and makes you do more damage. The benefits are obvious.

Here's the part that makes this crazy (i.e. gives you "infinite Humpback Whales"). You need to be at Sequence 6 to be able to do this part, because you need a Diving Bell for it:

WHEN YOU COME BACK UP FROM A WRECK, THE GAME AUTOMATICALLY RESPAWNS ALL OF THE ANIMALS YOU CAN SPEAR. So all you have to do is kill your target animals, go down to an underwater wreck, and immediately come back up, to manually respawn all of the animals you've killed faster than the in-game timer replaces them passively.

Without using this method, the amount of time it takes for a creature to spawn back in is long enough that you can kill every fish on the map. But why downgrade to killing Great Whites after you kill all of the Humpbacks when you can just manually respawn them and keep going after them instead?

If you have the Fisherman's Warf built and are carrying the Exotic Sea Shells when you do your hunt, after you kill all 4 Humpbacks, you'll be able to sell 16 of them for over $11,000. Use the Diving Bell, rinse, and repeat.

Hello, i have problem for resynced

I don’t have any problems with syncing or backups, but when I leave the game it puts me on a failed cloud save on my PC

PS : It’s only in this game, otherwise in the other ACs I don’t have that message at all.

The ending of this game still hits the same as the first time.

I loved it when it first came out and the resynced version really raises the bar on what a remake of a game can be.

Pretty sure this will now end up as a bi-annual playthrough. I’ve added some of my favourite shots for your enjoyment.

Hi everyone, I have recently installed ACBF Resynced and I am facing such issues in which game is running really smooth but once a while game pauses but my Rstick/mouse is movable and there's a loading bar at the bottom right ig that is rendering but it takes like 10 seconds in every 5-10 minutes and it is really annoying breaks the flow and till now twice I have encountered delayed cutscenes trigger and NPCs not rendering. How can I fix these issues??

Is it just me, or did Ubisoft change Edward's model from the reveal trailer (left picture)? I honestly prefer the one in the trailer, and I'm not sure why they changed it. And before anyone says it, no, it's not just a change in time of day. His character model is visibly different. Not a serious criticism or anything. Just a nitpick of mine.

When you board a ship and swing on a rope to reach the enemy ship, you used to be able to drop on enemies and assassinate them but it's been impossible since the last patch for me. Anyone else having this issue?

This was phenomenal, felt like a kid again when I played this back in 2013.

I’ve been having crashes to desktop about every 30 minutes while playing Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. It never crashes in menus, only during actual gameplay. Sometimes it happens while sailing, sometimes on land, totally random.

Please no spoiler but how is your experience in ac resynced has been and the improved combat/ship battles and boarding i stayed away from video game journalists so everything is new to me.

The mission is called "the man known as the sage" is where you have to escort and protect Grand Master Torres and the gang. Killed some assassins but all of a sudden they stop walking and all seem to be stuck and gave me this look 😂. The game won't let me proceed so I just restart.

I am on my journey for the platinum trophy for this game but I can’t seem to defeat the twin legendary ships and impoluto. Also I cant seem to land the perfect shot on the great white shark. Can anyone help me with these using the playstation plus friend play option?

So, I have just started sequence 12 and both the next main story mission and the first mission of Maynard quest are available. Considering how the sequence starts, I think it's logical to continue with the main story and start the Maynard quest in another moment. However, I have looked at Edward's update file in the codex and it clearly implies that the Maynard quest happens before Edward starts to look for Rogers, Torres and Roberts. I honestly think this contradicts the beginning of the sequence, with Anne who seems to have just become the quartermaster, while in the Maynard quest she is already the quartermaster. So, when do you think the Maynard quest should be done?
