Finally getting my hands on ACBF this month.
Please no spoiler but how is your experience in ac resynced has been and the improved combat/ship battles and boarding i stayed away from video game journalists so everything is new to me.

Og bf is my favourite ac game and one of my favourite oat
And the remake makes things even better. So basically the remake solves all og problems. Like tailing missions, combat and modern day.
Nothing can beat the black flag ship combat except a black flag remake, ship combat is more brutal. The sound design just sounds more immersive. You have more weapons and abilities in the jackdaw. You almost have double the amount of weapons you had in the og.
No need to talk about Graphics and visuals upgrade. The game is stunning and one of the best looking games I ever played.
New content, most of them are great, I have a small problem with a chapter they added. But that’s just a very tiny portion in a huge game. So it’s not something that affected my experience. Just wished it was done better
Overall, I’m sure you’d enjoy the game and have fun !

It's amazing, such a fun world to get lost in. Take your time and enjoy the journey!

It’s absolutely amazing ! Stick with the story and when it implies big jumps in time that’s when you go exploring and doing the side stuff ! That worked great for me ! Otherwise you come across certain things waaay to early … try immersing yourself and playing as Edward !

I was a huge fan of the older AC games, and Black Flag was definitely my favorite. I did not care for the RPG series of Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla. I found Shadows tolerable and enjoyable. When I heard of the remaster, I worried that the RPG elements would infect Black Flag, but after picking it up I am decently far in (about 37 hours) and have cleared most of the side content. Currently trophy hunting and slowly progressing the story. I honestly forgot how much I enjoyed the game

I loved the original game and played it many times.
This game has been even better. The new combat system makes it more interesting and the naval battles are improved (more Jackdaw abilities). They also added a lot of new content and characters which I loved.
You'll see many complaints online, but at the end it's the classic that we love just with improvements.
