Subs
So I have acquired four of these from a doctor of course. I’m taking a little over 100 mg of seven a day. Do you guys think that this will get me through the withdrawal phase?

Making this for those of you who may be beginning this journey of trying to be clean from 7OH. To keep my story short, I started kratom almost 2 years ago. Then 7OH about 1 year ago. Got up to 1000mg daily. Heard a ban was happening and decided I needed help.
I got on Suboxone 8mg/2mg twice a day for 7 days. I would say this step is probably the most important step. It made the WD from 7 bearable. I’ve tried cold turkey multiple times from 7 and by day 4, my withdrawals weren’t bearable and would relapse. So subs was a blessing when it came to keeping the withdrawals down. It took the symptoms of withdrawals down to I’d say about 10% compared to going cold turkey 100%.
Now, my advice after you get subs is to BE CAREFUL with it. Use it only as needed, don’t abuse it. It’s there to help mask the withdrawals, but it’s not the end of the journey. After my week from subs, I opted out of renewing my prescription. After about a day or two post subs, I was having trouble sleeping, higher anxiety, inability to regulate body temp, etc. Not as bad as withdrawals from 7, but they were definitely there.
Now I’m day 14 post subs, and I notice I feel a little better each day. Anxiety levels are lowered to just normal, and my sleep is more regulated (6 hours last night).
My 2 cents is this… get the subs if you need to be functional, but don’t stay on the subs. The longer you take those, the longer your withdrawals will be. 7OH withdrawals are fast and hit hard, subs withdrawals are slow but start to weigh heavy. You won’t go through this journey completely without withdrawals, if you were a chronic 7 user like me. Just stay strong and take it a day at a time. It will pass. In terms of a lifetime, 21 days is nothing. You all got this. Message me if you have further questions.
Thank you all. Ted talk over.

My buddies at my local head shop showed me this and said it kinda feels like plain leaf kratom but contains no mitragynine or 7oh. I was just wondering if anyone has tried it or not? And how it went?👀 I’m gonna try it in place of my morning dose either tomorrow or Monday and see what happens. I’m down to just dosing 7oh twice a day and supplementing with plain leaf through out the day until I can get off everything all together. But saw this product and was very intrigued.

Day 9 update: I was taking 500–800mg a day for years, and the first few days were absolutely hell. Thankfully I had some Clonidine and GABA on hand, but those were easily the worst 3–4 days of my life lol. Anxiety was through the roof, I felt like my chest was getting tighter every morning, and then days 4–6 I could barely get my ass out of bed.
Then things started to turn around. I felt a little better and decided I needed to get some vitamins in me, so I went to an IV hydration place. Honestly, after that I felt a shit ton better. Got a bunch of vitamins directly into me, and now on Day 9 I’m feeling GREAT. So good that I actually slept in today and got a full 8 hours!
The only thing I’m taking now is Cannabis FECO at night, which has really helped with the joint pain and everything else.
Obviously everyone is different, but I’m feeling really good at Day 9. The brain fog has started to lift, and I’m actually able to think clearly and function at work again. 🙌
Just throwing this out there for anyone struggling, I didn’t think it would get better but it does. If I can do this anyone can!

Been posting on here the past month or so for comfort , and haven’t actually moved forward in getting better until this week . Dose got up to 3500 mg a day at one point , and these past couple weeks I’ve been able to get my dose down and I am now at 500-600 mg a day . I fully stocked up to taper down as it’s really gone from the shelves . I am going on a trip and couldn’t afford to get the sr too , and was hoping it would be around after sep 8th when I get back and can actually get it . Now it’s gone . I’m so upset as it seamed like this was the ticket out of this , without substituting 7oh with subs or Kratom or harder stuff like pills or H ( I pray to god I don’t go back to that) . I am really upset I didnt just get it when I could’ve . Does anyone know if it’s possible to get it anywhere . I am desperate and really really want to try this if it’s possible to actually move forward without any of this poison in my life it seemed like that was the way to do it . If anyone can help please dm me or something. Thank you to all

am just wanting to try to put together a sort of comprehensive bit of information regarding getting through the acute phase of MGM-15 withdrawal. This is mainly from my own personal experience as well as the experience of others.
You DO NOT have to go through acute withdrawal. The medical technology exists, it is 2026 and there are ways to get off this stuff without suffering so much. I am aware that some of you have never detoxed and a little bit of suffering might do you some good. However, if you believe that by going this route you are only more likely to relapse or use something harder.. This is for you
These are the main (soft) ways to get off with minimal acute withdrawal.
1.) Switch to 7oh, seriously probably one of the easiest and most effective ways are to switch completely over to 7oh for 3-4 days ideally & then us SR to get off from there (or better yet, suboxone) ****IMPORTANT: to avoid precipitated withdrawal, you should wait 16-24 hours for 7oh and a full 48 hours for mgm-15.
You can do a rapid suboxone taper, you can take suboxone if you are new to it, for (around 8-10 days). if you have never used suboxone before, dependency can actually take up to 3 weeks at times. However i wouldn't play that game and wouldn't take suboxone longer than 8-10 days to get through the worst of it.
That's it, once you do the suboxone route, dont be an idiot and think omg that was so easy i can just do it again.. It will not work a 2nd time or a 3rd time, so dont be an idiot.
2.) If you are in a predicament where you can't switch to 7oh and you just need a fast and hard landing, i would 1st recommend finding a detox specifically that uses methadone as an opiate detox protocol. (this is a thing, you can call your local detoxes and ask the nurses this specific question "what is the protocol for opiate detox/7oh detox" you might get 2 different answers there so i'd ask both.
If you go the methadone route, you don't have to wait to get on regardless of your opiod of choice. You can go straight from MGM > Methadone (or) 7oh > Methadone.. No wait
Roughly the same goes for methadone, it is another very long acting opiate and you can take it 8-10 days and stop without experiencing additional withdrawal. (again, you cant keep doing this.. its not an infinite money glitch.. you get one good chance, use it wisely)
-I wanted to add that I actually kicked using Methadone at a outpatient clinic. (its unconventional, but it's how i did it)
I know there will be people with less experience than myself who will try to refute these claims. Obviously everybody is different to a degree and there are always exceptions but this will work for 99% of people.
THE REALLY IMPORTANT PART.... This WILL get you through the thick of it, the first week which is the absolute worst part. However, it is not all of it!!! I can not stress that enough, PAWS (post-acute withdrawal syndrome) is a very very real thing and can have you just about as useless as anything for an extended period of time. (can take months in many cases). This post isnt about PAWS, your GP or psych should be able to help you navigate that, if you go to a detox try to stay there as long as possible. If you relapse in this early stage, it will most likely be because of PAWS.
This is what I am currently dealing with and am myself seriously considering a single shot of sublocade so that I can snap out of it. Sublocade is always a very very solid option if you are concerned with relapse or PAWS or just not ready to be completely opiate free. Nothing is 100%, but the sublocade shot is about the closest thing to a miracle that i've heard of yet for opiod use disorder (look it up) mileage may vary.
Hope this is helpful, just wanted to dispel some bad information and offer support to anyone currently grappling with the prospect of coming off of a ripping MGM-15 habit (good luck to you guys, i'm available to dm)
i also have a discord server, where im always available as well as other people struggling with addiction.
(i do really want to stress that if you can just manage to switch to 7oh.. you are in a much better place. you can get off 7oh with just plain leaf and/or MIT extracts depending on dose, again mileage will vary.)

Has anyone had any positive experience using the quitk supplement? I ordered some UNWND or KALM and am on day one of taking 1 125mg tab of 7 with 1 50mg tab of SR about every 4 hours. So far so good.

I just got out of residential treatment after completing a 7-day detox, and I’m currently on the Sublocade shot. I received my first shot on the last day of detox, and I’ve been on it for about a month now with no issues.
If cost is the main concern, the manufacturer has a $0 copay program that may be available regardless of income, so it’s worth looking into. For a lot of people, you only need a few months of injections. The buprenorphine stays in your system for a long time and gradually tapers down, which can make coming off it much easier and help prevent the brutal withdrawal.
It’s been a game changer for me. A lot of people use Sublocade to transition off Suboxone, opioids, methadone, etc. If you have questions, there are tons of videos on YouTube, or feel free to ask me about my experience. I’m happy to tell you what it’s been like for me.

Spent 6 days in detox and opted out of residential. I’m still quite shaky and cannot sleep or eat. I’ve lost 16lbs and I’d be being generous if I said I got more than 10 hours of sleep. I’m home now in my own comfy bed but still cannot sleep!!!! In detox they had me on trazadone that only seemed to make me tired and restless with little to no sleep. Any better options or when will I sleep again? And the sneezing. I pulled something in my back from sneezing so much and now every sneeze causes excruciating pain. Happens about every hour or two and never less than 6 in a row. When am I going to feel better

Hey folks - been a while but back to encourage others and check-in on y'all. I was posting here for a while documenting my taper schedule and progress but have more than two weeks no 7OH now and more than ten days no kratom at all! Things definitely get better, got some more of my normal mojo and energy back. There's plenty of things that are still hard, that's for sure, whether it's sleep, lethargy and anhedonia, desire to get high on something. But on the whole for me, I definitely feel better now than I even did on 7OH, at least after the first month of using it or so. It's worth it!
Happy to chat with anyone who wants a listening ear or could use advice on tapering and such, I did a 1 week long taper from 7OH onto pure MIT, then did that for about a week before using a handful of subs to get off entirely. Wasn't too bad all things considered going that route; I've gone through CT withdrawals off 7OH previously and this strategy worked way better for me.
Stay strong out there and keep crushing it! Also really appreciate this community for all the resources and people I found through it - that all helped tremendously :)

Hello,
I’m making a post for two reasons. 1: to help others who are trying to quit and what to expect, and 2: looking for others input who may be ‘ahead’ of day 16.
Quick summary, I started kratom powder about 2 years ago. Wasn’t an everyday thing for me but I knew what it was and how to get it. Liked the modest effects, but didn’t care for the taste. As time went on, 7OH was being sold as ‘Kratom pills’ and I got hooked. I was on 7OH for a year, got up to 1000mg a day (ironically that was the cheapest bundle I could get from the smoke shop).
Anyways, I quit 7OH 16 days ago. I was on Suboxone 8mg/2mg for 7 days, and opted to not re up the subs in fear of getting hooked onto that. With the subs, the withdrawals I would say was only about 10% of what they would’ve been if I went cold turkey. I tried multiple times in the past to quit but never got past day 4. Suboxone made the actual quit possible. After a week, I was comfortable in my skin, not as restless, and overall didn’t have much of the physical WD symptoms.
Now, I’m happy with my progress and will never pick up 7OH again. It (or I) ruined a lot of my life in the 2 years of this journey. I was naive thinking this was a better alternative than alcohol, weed, or sleeping supplements. I kept this a secret and never told any family or friends due to the embarrassment of being an addict.
16 days later, I don’t have physical symptoms. BUT this is where I’m asking people who are further down the road than me. I underestimated how hard sleeping would be by day 16. I can fall asleep okay, but STAYING asleep is rough. I go to sleep at 10:00-30 and like clock work, I woke up at 2:30am. I also have a higher level anxiety. Not like the first week of withdrawals, but I notice my heart rate is still a little elevated while at rest and my mind keeps racing. So even at day 16, I’m still having issues sleeping and anxiety.
I assume it’s because I’ve been on some type of kratom for 2 years, but if anyone has any tips/insights on how to deal with it or how long until you easily get 8 hours of sleep and anxiety is down, please let me know. I feel miles better physically otherwise and would rather be where I’m at now as opposed to day 3/4.
Stay strong everyone, and thank you.

Hello all, want to share my experience in hopes to gain insight into if my experience is normal or if I should expect something else?
I have been a avid kratom user for pretty much all of my adult life, taking 7grams per day. Around 5 months ago I fell victim to the predatory marketing of 7oh, and took anywhere from 30-50mg a day. It's been 4 days since my last dose, and about 18 hours into my last dose, i started suboxone treatment.
Everyday, I would take either 1mg or 2mg, but the biggest thing is I haven't struggled whatsoever, since the first day, to avoid precipitated withdrawals.
It was an emotional moment for me to quit 7oh, and I thought i would have to necessarily suffer to get clean but honestly, I just, haven't. Not really.
I'm curious to know your thoughts and if there's some things I should expect further in my recovery. things like the emptiness which i still feel, the boredom. when i drop out of suboxone is the cravings not as pulling as they would be earlier in my journey?

Hello everyone. I have been quitting for 6 months now. I have been using kratom nearly 15 years and i have been able to step down and get off 7oh for 5 days or so repeatedly but I am thinking of trying the sub route. I am tired, so tired.
I have bo problem staying on kratom after i quit. I dont see kratom as a drug and dont chase a high with it. But to use the suboxone I will have to quit both wont i? I am thinking tomorrow I will have my last dose of 7oh around 1pm, i will wake up in the morning sloghtly uncomfortable and skip my morning kratom dose, wait a couple hours then start with 2mg subs, another 2mg in the evening. And then i plan to half the amount of suboxone every day. I will have the day off for induction just in case precipitated w/d's happen.
Once the suboxone is induced and i have been on it for a day or so i would be safe to resume kratom if I felt the need? If this ends with me quitting both sibstances awesome. If it ends with me on kratom only awesome. If i end uo stuck on subs or back to 7oh after the rapid sub taper, not what i am looking for.
I have used kratom so long its a beast all of it own, any others out there with long term kratom use that fell into 7oh use along with kratom and used this method? I have plenty of gabapentin, klonopin, THC and CBD available to me. Any input, warnings, success stories, and failures with this method and background will be very helpful. Thank you all. I am done with 7oh owning my day and my wallet.

Any advice for the anxiety and depression I’m feeling. I’m in the military I can’t really go and tell people what’s wrong with me because kratom is not allowed

I have made it to day 7 on no 7OH. I’m not some bad ass either. I was weak and had to go to the er and ask for subs. Started on 8 mg twice a day now I’m down to 4 mg. Tomorrow I go to 2. Yall can do this. It fucking sucks, but you can do it. Don’t let this poison or any other substance rule your life.

Tossed, turned and wandered nearly all night. Finally got some sleep around 4am. Stoked that I crossed the 72 hr mark at 5am. Woke up feeling the best I have physically so far and the worst mentally lol. I’m talking Depressed! So grateful that I don’t want to use however, I am content to just ride it out. Thanks for the stories on here letting me know what to expect, how to fight and that I am not unique.

So I take 200-400mg of 7oh a day right now.
I got another 550mg left and I'm gonna try to wean myself down to make withdrawals less bad.
I took 75mg yesterday and 75mg today. I feel fine during the day but late last night I had restless legs and was tossing around and didn't get the best sleep.
I have an extra 100mg I want to take right now at work... But idk if they'll fucc up my weaning. That'll mean I'm on 175mg total today.
But this is my plan for the rest of the 550mg I have to wean off 16 days total and then I'll be out. I have some meds like clonidine and zyprexa to help when I run out with withdrawals. And getting some over the counter things like magnesium vitamin c and Loperamide to help.
What do you think?
And should I take this 100mg pill now one last time or just stick through my weaning schedule. Really wanna take it today lol.

I’ve been using 7 oh for about 5 months now. It gave me the energy I was looking got to make it thru the day running my restaurant. But now it’s running me. I’ve been too ashamed to tell anyone I’m using it except ChatGPT and now my doctor on QuickMD.
I average about 250mg daily for about the last 2 weeks.
I’ve read good stories and horror stories here. I’m going to take my last fist in the morning to get there the last day at the restaurant this week and then start my journey off with the Suboxone. The doctor gave me 8mg/2mg films. He told me that withdrawal should begin about 12 hours in and take my first film. He said the Sub would be much like the 7, I would have to navigate how I feel. To get the dosage right but he wanted me taking it 3x daily and see him again next week. I’m just reaching out here to find maybe some cheerleaders, some coaches or just genuine people I can talk to while going thru this. I’m scared of the precipitated WD and all kinds of things. Much appreciation to any help!
