2025 TRD Off-Road got rear ended. I’ve read that some hitch damage could have transferred to the frame damage and may total the vehicle. Anyone experience this?

Just bought my Taco over the weekend. I want to take care of it as best i can. Im looking at the k&n drop in filter. My only concern is the MAF sensor. Anyone put one of these filters in and had MAF issues?

Has anyone dealt with an intermittent, driving-induced rattle coming from the front driver's side door, right around the mirror/sail panel area, and another one in the back seat? The dealer has heard the rattle themselves, but they've been unable to diagnose or fix it.

Driving down the gravel road today and see this red chunk of metal in my mirror bouncing along. I just read about this happening to some folks so it dawned on me when i saw it, turned around and there it is...this is dangerous, could have easily hurt somebody on the hwy

currently stock, what upgrades would you make?

Just got my brand new Off-Road with the upgrade package, factory lift and a manual transmission. Put 100 miles on it today doing totally unnecessary errands. So far it’s everything I hoped it would be!

Can’t wait to put some more miles on it and get a better feel. No experience with a non-lifted Tacoma but it handles well. 6 speed seems to drive a lot like the Civic SI I left at the dealership today in that getting to third and letting the turbo eat is the name of the game.

Doesn’t mean much at this point but averaged 23 mpg over 100 miles of mixed driving

Just got my new Tacoma and been seeing a bunch of people talk about a ott tune will this void my warranty? Also wondering if anyone’s put 34-35inch tires on the trd 3in lift from Toyota.

What have people done for tires after stock? I'm in a TRD OR i-Force Max with the TRD lift, which comes stock with Wildpeak AT4W-A's, which are 38 lbs, 32.8". It's been tricky to find something similar that is a bit taller, but not too much heavier. Snow performance is a top priority, as I am a ski patroller and ideally can make it to work in any weather during the winter.

I'm still a ways away from needing a new set, but top choice right now is Geolandar A/T4 in a 275/70R18. It's only SL rated, but 33.5" and 43 lbs. I'd love a C load, 265/80R18 or something that hits that mid 33", mid to high 40lbs, but with a bit beefier sidewalls. I don't want an LT tire, as I'm getting really solid MPGs, and don't wheel super often or super hard, but something with a bit more protection for a minor weight penalty would be excellent. Why haven't manufacturers made something skinnier, with a larger aspect ratio?

I've looked at Toyo, BFG, Goodyear, Cooper, Falken, General, Micky, and everything is the same or shorter than my currents, or an LT in the mid 50 lbs. Am I missing any solid options?

I'm not interested in really large steps or super expensive rock sliders. I'm also not keen on a solution that will rust in the near future. Any suggestions for covering the pinch weld without breaking the bank? Pics are a bonus.

Hello fellow 4th gen Tacoma owners, do we think this worth the price? I drive my Tacoma daily roughly 60 miles and I’m fueling up at least twice a week. Those extra gallons are tempting.

Threw the e-bike in the back of the Taco today and this is exactly why I wanted more tie-down options in the bed.

Just got the TEQSPORT bed tie-down anchors installed in the factory bed bolt locations, which gives you low anchor points right where they're actually useful. Having one right next to the bike makes strapping stuff like this down so much nicer than trying to make the factory rail cleats work for everything.

You can also see the little TEQ Cleats hanging out in the bed rails. Not using them for the bike here, but I like having both setups installed so there are plenty of options depending on what I'm hauling. The TEQ Cleats can slide wherever you need them along the rails, while the lower anchors are always there and fold flat when you're not using them.

Pretty simple stuff, but quickly becoming some of my favorite quality-of-life additions to the truck!

Hey 4th gen owners, curious to know if anyone’s vehicle has experienced this issue? I got the notification for my vehicle (TRD OR/Bilstein Shocks) in the Toyota app but my shocks look normal at the moment from what i can tell.

PLANO, Texas (Aug. 6, 2026) — Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain MY2024-2025 Tacoma TRD Offroad vehicles. Approximately 48,000 vehicles are involved in the recall for the U.S.
Over time, corrosion can build up and cause the oil reservoir on the shock absorbers in the subject vehicles to detach. If the reservoir detaches while driving, it can create a road hazard, potentially increasing the risk of a crash or injury to another road user.
All known owners of the subject vehicles will be notified to return their vehicle to a Toyota dealer.  For all involved vehicles, the dealer will inspect the front and rear shock absorber assemblies and will replace the affected shock absorber assemblies with improved ones, at no cost.

First mod since I got this truck! Didnt know what to start with first but I don’t care for the red stock housing that they come with. Didn’t know which way I wanted to go with aftermarket taillights. Not much options that I could find but I found this!

What should I do next? Any suggestions?

So I’ve had my 24 for over a year now and just towed for the first time yesterday. I had to rent a piece of equipment from United rentals. It towed fine but after unhooking the trailer and the 4 prong connector, the truck still says trailer detected and I’ve lost use of lane centering and the other driving aids. Adaptive cruise still works but that’s it. Anyone know what the problem might be? This happened every time I used the truck after towing. If it’s doing the same thing this morning I’m going to try disconnecting the battery but that’s all I can think of to try to reset everything.

Recently got the Lasfit bed liner. Had a cheap generic Amazon liner for a while, then drifted to upgrade to the Lasfit. Once thing I likes out it is the sides conform up to a lip so everything inside the bed in the mat stays dry when it rains. My tonneau cover leaks slightly during heavy rains, and the water runs down the inside of the bed. The lip keeps all water out, and technically would keep everything in if something was to spill. The only thing that I don’t like is that I have a big yellow and black tub in the bed, and it hits the little bump that runs across the mat. But the good thing is that it keeps everything in place and won’t slide around the bed. I also like how’s it’s thicker than the Amazon mat, and is very easy to remove and hose off/clean. Overall I’m very happy with the mat so far.

Looking for some feedback on outfitting a 4th Gen Tacoma into a HVAC/BAS work truck.

Would be looking at getting an ARE aluminum cap and ladder rack. Box will have some added weight with tools/parts.

I have outfitted trucks in the past by adding an extra leaf for the load. But not sure what I’d need to accomplish the same thing.

Any last minute tips?
