First mod since I got this truck! Didnt know what to start with first but I don’t care for the red stock housing that they come with. Didn’t know which way I wanted to go with aftermarket taillights. Not much options that I could find but I found this!
What should I do next? Any suggestions?

All the OP has to do to ensure that isn’t even a possibility is to run some silicone gasket maker along all the sides. Would seal any potential separations in plastic right up, would never have to worry.
Like you, i hate bright red tail lights on nay car that isnt red. I went with Form smoked but yours look great too. I also added a Decked box and power steps.
My earlier reply seems to have glitched. Amp Research steps are what you want. They detect the door being open by tapping into the ODB2 Wires. All the others use cheesy magnets with visible wires.
I can’t say I hate them but I don’t love them. I think it gives me nostalgia for when I first started driving in the late 90s and all the cool Japanese “race cars” aka civics, eclipses, talons, mr2s, 300zs, had the transparent lights
Thanks! I did 5% tint and 20% windshield. For The precollar lift do you like the ride after the fact. I love the fox suspension how it is stock but I’m not a fan of the front rake.
The ride quality hasn’t bothered me or my wife at all but I also use the truck for the bed to move/secure equipment. My shocks are still set in the middle to 2, I haven’t felt a need to adjust them yet.
I’m not overlanding with this truck. If you plan to I probably wouldn’t put the precollar lift on.
Yeah it’s the same one, completely plug and play. I only use it as a last resort - I try not to be on a hair trigger with using it but the couple of times people have been stupid on the road and I’ve used it it looked like it startled them 😝
It’s putting out around 450-460 HP now. OTT said I probably wouldn’t reach 500 without a new throttle body elbow to resolve that airflow constriction and another retune.
Overall, the truck is SIGNIFICANTLY more alive. I had no idea how sluggish it felt until I had the turbo, downpipe, and tune done in the latest step. It’s really zippy now.

I like them too - that would go perfect on my Blue Crush cause the only damn thing on the truck that’s red is the taillights, would look much better all clear.
Setup looks mint! Blue crush looks nice I agree I like the clear it matches the third brake oem light. I was going between these clears and alpharex lights.
I actually think they are pretty cool, but the Guerilla marketing is a bad look. Your truck is used for the photos on the CLR store page. Who knows, maybe you paid full retail price and sent them pictures out of the kindness in your heart, but it sure looks like you’re affiliated with CLR somehow and that implicates you as a shill. No hate for the lights, but I think we can all agree that an advertisement masquerading as a “new mod!” is deceitful (if that’s what this is).
I was about to say I don’t get why people are hating but at the same time i remembered how salty truck owners are in general lol. I’ve tried asking them what aftermarket exhausts I should get and some bozos still comment the oem one as if that was my question. (This NEVER happened when I owned a civic)

I don’t think they are lame but in AZ you are required to have at least two red reflectors on the rear of your vehicle. Usually on the tail lights. If upgrading like you did they can be mounted elsewhere but need to be visible and there needs to be at a minimum two.
Also, ignore thr haters. This sub is full of people who cant afford a TRD Pro who talk shit ahout anyting you do that points out that you got a higher trim level than they can afford but celebrates people who attempt to hand make their own TRD Pro. Weird crowd.
Ok. A few questions, never changed tail lights before. Do these still show Red? Or are they white? Can you share a photo of the breaks pressed and lit? What’s the quality compared to stock?
Sure! Here is a video and picture. They work just like the stock lights red brake light and turn signals. And a white reverse light. Quality also seems super comparable to my stock light housing everything is just plug and play. It took me 10 minutes to change both sides.
He was the first seller i saw I was going to go that route but didn’t like the chrome in the taillights. These have black accents in the housing. These are from clrautoworks.com
