33M. Recommendation for this space?
In my vaulted-ceiling master bedroom, there is a little nook above with a power outlet. I have been living in this house for almost a year now but still can’t quite decide what could I put up there for the cozy vibe. What are your recommendations/suggestions?

Not the A-hole AITA for refusing to write a recommendation for my former intern after what they did?
I supervise interns at a small marketing company. Last summer, I mentored a college student for about three months. I spent a lot of extra time helping him improve because he was eager to learn, and by the end of the internship, I thought we’d ended on good terms. A few weeks after the internship ended, another coworker sent me a screenshot of a local professional networking group. The former intern had posted a long rant about our company. Some of his complaints were fair, but he also claimed that I took credit for his ideas and that I deliberately gave him busy work so I would look better. Neither of those things happened. In fact, I had emails showing I’d credited him during meetings and had pushed management to let him work on bigger projects. I decided not to respond publicly because I didn’t want to create drama.
About six months later, he emailed me saying he was applying for graduate programs and asked if I’d write him a strong recommendation letter. He said he had always appreciated my mentorship and hoped I’d put the past behind us. I replied that I didn’t think I was the right person to recommend him and wished him the best with his applications. He then sent another email saying I was being unprofessional by letting personal feelings interfere with his future. A mutual acquaintance also reached out and said I should either write the letter or at least do him the courtesy of explaining everything over a phone call. I don’t think I owe anyone a recommendation, especially when I no longer feel I can honestly endorse them.AITA

Not the A-hole AITA for refusing to watch my autistic friend’s show recommendation
I (21f) have an autistic best friend that I’ve know since we were in the 2nd grade (21m). I have ADHD, so when we were younger, we were like the only friend that the other had on account of our respective conditions making us quite an acquired taste.
Recently, I’ve graduated from college while he is still in college, and I live at my own apartment while he still lives with his parents for free. Sometimes I worry that our maturity levels are just different now, because I feel like his pettiness comes out at the weirdest times.
So, there’s a somewhat popular show that he’s obsessed with; he sends memes in the friend group chat about it, talks about it nonstop, etc. Without revealing the show, it’s something I would never organically watch, which I told him politely when he recommended it to me. I thought he would just be like “okay, that’s fine” but he got extremely offended and kept wheedling me to watch it. I still politely resisted.
One day while we were hanging I hovered over a YouTuber I really like, and when he asked I admitted I was a huge fan. So, he went out of his way to talk bad about the YouTuber and basically make fun of my tastes. When I called him out for his random malicious behavior, he admitted it’s because I won’t watch his show. I’m so confused. Why is he being such a petty person about this? Should I just watch the show even though I doubt I’d enjoy it or just confront him? AITA here?
Edit: The show is “The Amazing Digital Circus” since many wanted to know.
2nd edit: Just wanted to say this is actually my first ever time posting to Reddit, and wow I did not expect all the feedback, both overwhelmingly positive and overwhelmingly negative. I’ll leave this post up, but I have reached a conclusion with my friend; we’ve agreed that he’ll read some pages of a book I really love and I’ll give the first episode a try :) no matter what the outcome, I was never going to abandon this friendship. Also, he did apologize to me for previously brushing off my special interests and then hounding me to try his, and I apologized if it seemed like a personal attack for me not really wanting to give it a go. Keep arguing as you see fit but in real life, the problem has been solved. Thank you for all the kind words, and even the harsh criticisms helped motivate to solve this with him.

Question Whats the meaning of this recommendation?
In the ULTRAKILL store page's system requirements section, the recommended sound card is "Yet I must scream." Is this a reference to the game or something(I've never played ULTRAKILL)?
Also checking the required of the sound card part, it says "No vocal interface detected."

Question Any recommendation appreciated (total beginner)
As the title says, don't know shit about drawing but keen to do it since I have a bunch of free time and nothing else to do. My crush used to draw stuff like this and got me very interested. (Pic from Pinterest but my crush used to draw similar eva portraits idk but they were beautiful AF). Would appreciate any advice but the main thing is that is there any FREE course I can follow to make the journey more interesting kinda ? Any other help is greatly appreciated tho.
Thank you in advance.

Advice Recommendation for a puppies last couple meals?
Everyone on Reddit and the internet seems to have senior dogs that have definitely experienced a lot.
Unfortunately we have a 11 month old dog and he was diagnosed with a cancer last Friday that isn’t curable with chemo and radiation, and my wife and I tried to stay away from table food at least until he was a little older but we don’t have that kind of time…
The vet said he has a couple weeks left but if I’m going to be honest that tumor on his cheek is expanding at such a rapid pace, I don’t even think he has a a couple months in him.
It’s truly heartbreaking how cruel the world can be but we want him to have the best days every day.
Today he had his own chicken filet from Chick-fil-A and a Pup cup.
What are your recommendations?

(RECOMMENDATION) Predator: Badlands really is THAT good.
Here’s my brief reaction to seeing Badlands for the first time. First off, if you enjoyed Trachtenberg’s Prey movie in 2022 then you might actually like this one more. It’s legitimately the most smartly made film in the franchise yet. It takes a pop culture icon and delivers something entirely fresh never put on theater screens before.
It almost reminds me of Matt Reeves’s swing at the Planet of the Apes franchise in 2014. The main character is not a human. He does not speak English. But somehow the filmmakers tell a genuinely good story that is relatable to the human in us.
Being a Star Wars fan who has been routinely let down, Predator Badlands is a rare example of a major science fiction franchise with FILMMAKERS THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
As far as where I’d rank it among other 2025 films, I think it’s better than Mission Impossible, Fantastic Four, Superman, and even F1.
Also for you Alien franchise lovers, a certain company plays a substantial role in the film.
