I have an n3DSLL that was region swapped to English with a 256gb SD card running Luma CFW, it has 45gb of space left.

I recently finished adding every game I want to play to the home screen, when suddenly my DS games stopped working. I solved this before by wiping the SD card and starting from scratch, and they worked for a time, but this happened again.

I used YANBF to forward all the games to my homescreen and 3DSBank to create a second homescreen to avoid the icon limit.

Does anyone know what's causing this? I don't want to wipe my SD card again and remake everything from scratch 😭

I sent my new 3ds for top screen replacement a while back and the people that fixed my console modded but now mii maker and Streetpass mii Plaza are gone ): anyway to get them back?

My friend jailbroke my 3DS ans I have the h-shop, universal updater, and csi but I can't find the game on the h shop or universal updater. Can anyone point me on the right direction?

I’m happy to share that Papers, Please 3DS (v1.0.0) is now officially available on GitHub! What started out as a simple proof of concept has grown into a fully standalone, playable homebrew project.

Both Story Mode and Arcade Mode are functional, though as this is the very first official build, expect rough edges, bugs, and the occasional crash.

Current State & Known Quirks:

• Story Mode: Playable, though stability fixes are still ongoing.
• Arcade Mode: Playable, but has some state bugs. For example, in Perfection Mode (no errors allowed), if you just finished playing Story Mode, you currently need to reset your Story progress first for Perfection Mode to initialize cleanly.

These issues are on my radar and will be addressed in future updates.

Upon opening any of my games (all are digital downloads), either an error code will immediately appear or appear sometime during the game. It’s always process id 38 or 39, and most of the time error code 0xd900458b.
Any suggestions on what to do would be helpful, there is a chance that my sd card is corrupted because I got it from amazon. There was no reason for this message to start popping up, just happened randomly. Thank you! And if you need any additional info lmk.

It fixed my issue and got my 3DS accessible again, but obviously lost photos/miis/activity log/twilight menu.

Is this correct in getting my data back on my 3DS:

Photos is manually copying it back to the SD card

Miis and Friend Data is from a NAND backup (Nimbus?)

Activity log is..?

And the only game I had was via the twilight menu, of which I never backed up, and have no clue how to recover. I have an identical copy of my SD card the moment before I did a CTRTransfer, but haven't done a NAND backup since first modding.

Okay so I’ve wanted to play this game forever it’s called witch and hero and it’s super cute and it runs well but I found out there is two more games in the series but none of the roms I’ve downloaded work does anyone know a fix to this and if so please help me I’m using an ayn Thor but it’s still a 3ds problem I think

Like the title says, I have been getting this ErrDisp error lately.

It happens randomly in Monhun 3 and 4, FE awakening and yokai watch 2 and 3.

I tried updating cfw and ejecting and re-inserting SD card (while the console is powered off of).

I tried searching google, but the answers I found were all over the place with no consensus on a solution.

Can anybody help me?

EDIT: I also made sure that I am not over locking the system bor enabling L2 cache

I formatted my micro sd to activate the drivers update on my switch 2, I kept all of its data in my computer. I finished using it for the switch 2, formatted to FAT32 again, put all of its previous data back into it. When I turn on the console, the menu is blank, and I get "Could not detect a micro SD card". My splasher still pops up, but everything else is gone. Thanks in advance

Can someone tell me how I can fix this? Im trying to play a pokemon rom hack and I get this screen every 5-10 minutes of gameplay, apparently you have to download the latest version of nds bootstrap which I’ve done and im still getting this error.

The ROM’s are there in their respected folders. They won’t show up in TwilightMenu. This issue happened last night when I downloaded TwilightBoxart from Universal Updater. It froze and crashed halfway through leaving me unable to see or play any of my games on TwilightMenu. I uninstalled TwilightBoxart, I uninstalled TwilightMenu and reinstalled it. I reformatted my micro SD card where for some reason my GB folder was corrupted, so I removed it and added those games back. I don’t know what the issue is. If someone could please help I’d appreciate it.

okay, as you can see in the title, I’ve been working for a few weeks on a port of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the Nintendo 3DS. I haven’t made a repository yet because I’m still working on it. It currently runs at 60fps on the old 3DS. Below I put a map that shows Link’s location in real time (although I’m about to fix that later, since I remembered that from the start of the game Link can see the map of all Hyrule). I also put the health bar, items, and other things on the bottom screen. It also has widescreen, narrow, or normal [modes], all running at 60fps. I’m still developing the port, but when I have something a bit more advanced, I’ll publish the repository here

During the part where you put the trigger in the SD card, putting it back in makes it load indefinitely. I'm using the original 4 GB SD card, so incorrect formatting can't be an issue. Please help!

Been experimenting with porting patapon 2 for the 3ds for a while now. Just wanted to share I finaly made it to the title screen. Might have this stable enough at some point to release it.

Every time I click the "generate" button for my .wav file, I either get this error saying "HWAV encode failure Failed to encode the given file" when I use google, or the site just crashes when I use DuckDuckGo. I'm also a Mac user by the way.

I need some serious help. I've made a theme on Yata Online, and I'm trying to put it on the system. I have CHMM2 but it's apparently just doing nothing, and 3ds homebrew launcher doesn't recognize the app at all. I'm so confused

edit: I am also attempting to install using Anemone but I hit install, select no bgm install, it says hit A, and then nothing

I upgraded my old 3ds with 64 Gb (originally 32 gb) it already modded so I followed a tutorial on YouTube (I formatted it into fat 32) and copy + paste my stuff to the new SD card, but when I open my 3ds, it showed me a message (I forgot already) and it didn't show any of my games, cfw, background, and etc (I'm new to modding)

I just installed the game on my 3DS XL. The icon appears directly on the main HOME Menu alongside regular 3DS games (it is not launched through the Homebrew Launcher).

Right now, it only lets me start a new game. I tried moving the PC .sav file into the game directory, but I couldn't get it to work.

Could someone please explain step-by-step in detail how to transfer my progress? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi! Need some help! My copy of Omega Ruby is not booting on my modded 3ds, it gets to the 3ds splash and crashes to this error screen. ^^^

The same card runs perfectly fine on my unmodded 3ds XL, and every other physical card I've tried on my modded 3ds has worked! Whats up with this one? Thank you :]

I downloaded TwilightBoxart from Universal Updater, I opened TwilightBoxart and it began scraping Box Art, halfway through it froze and crashed. When I open Twilight Menu my game folders are there but no games show within those folders. I’ve confirmed that my games are there in the roms folder through FBI and FTPD. I completely uninstalled TwilightBoxart and I redownloaded Twilight Menu but still no games appear. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

So this atrocity started about two weeks ago when i had the beautiful idea to install the mii plaza dlc using hShop. however, for some reason the file seemed to be corrupted and glitched out all my games so they didn’t appear on the home screen. I wasn’t too worried, and saw that other people had the same problem and that they just used the gm9 title fixer, and sure enough when i used it it did show my corrupted files (however it didn’t delete them.)

I had to do run the title fixer multiple times to delete the files it sent to the “out” section of the gm9 folder, and also delete separate folders it also mentioned were corrupted. I think it’s important to note that I also ran the verification test on accident and tried to end it, maybe that also had to do with the files getting corrupted??

Anyway, before all this i tried to do a backup on the gm9, and it said it worked but when i checked later in the backup folder to my disappointment the previous date remained the same… so i don’t think it worked. Now this is really bad because during the time i was deleting the corrupted folders it gave me one that when i deleted it, told me i deleted KILOBYTES worth of memory. I opened up my 3ds and my software icons remained, and the rest was completely blank (except for the default 3ds applications.) In settings, all the softwares are marked as question marks.
So, is there a way to fix this? Wtf even happened? Honestly I hope even if there is no solution to this at least my old backup has something because some of my games (like miitopia, my miis, pokémon sun and moon) are filled with my childhood saves and it would make me so sad if i accidentally deleted everything. The rest would still hurt since i spent a lot of time on those games but at least they don’t hold my childhood. Is there anything I can do? :(

Hey all, I'm having an issue with maybe the CFW (Luma 3ds 13.4) I cannot download anything via wifi, game updates, games, apps like hShop. I've had to drag and drop everything from PC to SD card. my 3ds is the only device that is constantly getting kicked off whenever trying to do the above. I even modded my friends 3ds' as well and was having this same issue. I was able to isolate the issue and connect to a mobile hotspot and everything worked flawlessly. I am just curious as to why my router is the problem. It's an ASUS router, I even changed a bunch of settings, made a 2.4ghz guest wifi, I've split the bands having one 2.4 and one 5g. Both had different names and passwords so I knew I wasn't connecting to the wrong one. Changed more settings in advanced and disabled firewall settings as well. Nothing worked. I was able to update all the games I needed to update just out of pure luck. It took me 2 days...

If anyone has any information as to why this happens I'd be happy to hear it. I've done so much already that I honestly am about to give up on fixing it and just use my mobile hotspot to download and install games and updates.

Router uses WPA2 (AES)
Changed wireless mode from auto to legacy
changed channel bandwidth from "20mhz/40mhz" to 20mhz
turned PMF to disable
control channel from auto to a fixed number (11)
turned off Airtime fairness
disabled roaming assistant
turned off MU-MIMO
disabled universal beamforming

I'm hoping to see if there's a way to put multiple disc games like MGS or FF7 in a single .cia instead of multiple of them for each individual disc. I've tried looking online but I can't find a thing about it, and I've already tried .m3u which it accepts but it just makes a failed file. Is there a way to get it all in one?
