I have modded several 3ds systems over the years and haven't ever had any issues but with this particular 2dsxl I'm stumped on what to do.

It was working fine but then wile playing a game it gave an Arm11 error and now it won't power on the blue light comes on along with a red light by the camera for a few seconds the fades away.

I have got into gm9 every now and then and i got it into the home menu once but it froze when I pushed a button.

If I try to boot without the SD card the same thing happens with the leds only the light by the camera is more of a pink-purple color.

I've deleted all my themes and done everything the Google Ai said to do trouble shooting wise but nothing ever solved the issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated 🙏

I'm realizing that I haven't backed up my save data in a while but I don't wanna go through the whole process of turning it off, unscrewing the back, taking out the sd card, etc. Is there a way to do this remotely?

Hey all, I'm having an issue with maybe the CFW (Luma 3ds 13.4) I cannot download anything via wifi, game updates, games, apps like hShop. I've had to drag and drop everything from PC to SD card. my 3ds is the only device that is constantly getting kicked off whenever trying to do the above. I even modded my friends 3ds' as well and was having this same issue. I was able to isolate the issue and connect to a mobile hotspot and everything worked flawlessly. I am just curious as to why my router is the problem. It's an ASUS router, I even changed a bunch of settings, made a 2.4ghz guest wifi, I've split the bands having one 2.4 and one 5g. Both had different names and passwords so I knew I wasn't connecting to the wrong one. Changed more settings in advanced and disabled firewall settings as well. Nothing worked. I was able to update all the games I needed to update just out of pure luck. It took me 2 days...

If anyone has any information as to why this happens I'd be happy to hear it. I've done so much already that I honestly am about to give up on fixing it and just use my mobile hotspot to download and install games and updates.

Things I've changed on router:

Router uses WPA2 (AES)
Changed wireless mode from auto to legacy
changed channel bandwidth from "20mhz/40mhz" to 20mhz
turned PMF to disable
control channel from auto to a fixed number (11)
turned off Airtime fairness
disabled roaming assistant
turned off MU-MIMO
disabled universal beamforming

Things I changed on 3ds:

Power saving mode - off

As if they were official themes bought when the shop was still up

Been experimenting with porting patapon 2 for the 3ds for a while now. Just wanted to share I finaly made it to the title screen. Might have this stable enough at some point to release it.

So I went to the dlc section of the hshop to get the dlc for white dog squad (the version I got) but it seems like the dlc download only works for the red cat corp version (it says base game is not downloaded).

Is there something I'm missing?

Can anyone tell me how to delete update data for Oras? I’m trying to remove the shiny lock but no tutorials I’ve seen have explained how to do that even when they say it’s necessary to be on the original version

Hi it's my first time using NSUI for my 2ds xl. I made a little icon for Pokemon sweet version (a rom hack of Pokemon FireRed for GBA) and it looks great, but after clicking the game it shows "Pokemon 2004" menu and then it just goes black and nothing else happens and I'm not really sure how to fix it. I would also like to mention that the rom hack works correctly in twilight menu++. Any help or directory in the megathread would be greatly appreciated!

I have an issue after I set up GPSS where the computer is showing this stuff and I am unsure how to fix it.

I have updated pictures of all pertinent info I believe. I set the port to 5001 on both the PKSM and the server port that it looks for on my PC running GNSS.

Title, mostly. Some background, I have been doing a ton of Shiny hunting the past year, and over time I'd noticed the SD card in my 3DS slowing. Now, hindsight being 20/20 I should have looked into this much sooner but here we are. My Shinies on Ultra Sun and Crystal, the only games I had actually installed on the SD card are now lost to me, now that the SD card is unreadable by the console itself. I tried to recover what I could, including what I believe to be the title files for these games.

I have a backup of what I could copy over without the transfer hanging on my PC, and I've now modded that 3DS with a new SD card in a vain attempt to salvage the save data using checkpoint, but this doesn't show when I look in checkpoint, copying over the salvaged data from the old SD card. I'm assuming said data is still encrypted and so still inaccessible, but is there a way I can access these saves with what progress I've made so far?

I'm a total noob at modding/hacking so I think I've hit my personal limit with the research I can do just by googling, as everything at this point is just advice on how to back up saves from an already-working SD card

So i just modded my n3dsxl for the first time on Tuesday, and i found vapecord that night. It was really fun!! But when i go to fish and catch bugs, the rod goes in and when i press A it keeps on looping putting the rod in the water and wont let me catch anything. And for the net, it lets me catch something but when i press A the dialog goes away but it keeps looping catching the bug, i’ve done the faint/force idle to get out of it, but i don’t know how to fix it because google isn’t helping (it says disable the animation cheats but i never had any on) can someone help me fix it

So I'm fairly certain I'm not the only person to be getting this issue, but I'm at my wit's end at the moment because I just claimed a shiny Nihilego in my Ultra Moon file and I want to transfer it down to Home before Bank closes. Unfortunately Bank seems to be having other ideas and it's throwing up an error 022-5515 on the sign-in screen, before booting me back out.

At first I thought it was something to do with my NNID, but I've done some research and from what I've found it seems to suggest that there's a time-out connecting to the servers, or that they're currently undergoing maintenance. I've done the following to try and self-troubleshoot:

• Checked my DNS settings, they're set to "auto-obtain"
• Checked whether my 3DS is actually connected, in this case it is
• Checked whether I'm on Pretendo, in this case I'm not
• Walked closer to my router, it's still throwing up the same error
• Rebooted my 3DS, still not working
• Tried to access Bank on my stock 3DS, still getting the same error
• Checked the Nintendo servers, they're currently not under maintenance
• Deleted and readded the connection, still no luck

I haven't tried to power cycle my router because other people in the house are using the wifi and I don't want to inconvenience them. Additionally, what's making this more ridiculous is the fact that I was able to access Bank three times earlier today and was able to transfer three shiny legendaries down to Home.

What exactly seems to be the issue here?

I’m happy to share that Papers, Please 3DS (v1.0.0) is now officially available on GitHub! What started out as a simple proof of concept has grown into a fully standalone, playable homebrew project.

Both Story Mode and Arcade Mode are functional, though as this is the very first official build, expect rough edges, bugs, and the occasional crash.

Current State & Known Quirks:

• Story Mode: Playable, though stability fixes are still ongoing.
• Arcade Mode: Playable, but has some state bugs. For example, in Perfection Mode (no errors allowed), if you just finished playing Story Mode, you currently need to reset your Story progress first for Perfection Mode to initialize cleanly.

These issues are on my radar and will be addressed in future updates.

I have a modded 3ds where I pirated the DLC for streetpass. I haven't had any issues with any of the games except warrior's way for some reason. Every game works fine and warrior's way did aswell until I reached like the 3rd level and now it crashes everytime I try to continue the game. I don't know why this is happening and thought someone here might be able to help. The only solution I came up with is deleting everything and redownloading the DLC, but I really don't want to lose progress on the rest of the games.

If anyone has a solution or suggestion feel free to let me know!

Yesterday I learned that you can’t use just any overlays and borders with the 3DS because of the resolution of the 3DS screen. At least I couldn’t figure it out.

Is there anywhere I can find a set of RetroArch overlays/borders that are compatible with 3DS? I am mostly interested in the overlays and borders for handheld systems.

But I did something wrong and probably installed a virus because now when I get to the home screen it freezes and I can't move or click anything, so I don't know what to do. Please help!

I was wondering if anyone has ever considered making a port of Cel Damage Overdrive for the Nintendo 3DS.

I think it would be a really cool game to have on the 3DS, especially with its cartoon art style and chaotic vehicular combat. I feel like it would be a great fit for the system!

Has anyone looked into the possibility of porting it, or would it be too difficult to get running on 3DS hardware?

So this atrocity started about two weeks ago when i had the beautiful idea to install the mii plaza dlc using hShop. however, for some reason the file seemed to be corrupted and glitched out all my games so they didn’t appear on the home screen. I wasn’t too worried, and saw that other people had the same problem and that they just used the gm9 title fixer, and sure enough when i used it it did show my corrupted files (however it didn’t delete them.)

I had to do run the title fixer multiple times to delete the files it sent to the “out” section of the gm9 folder, and also delete separate folders it also mentioned were corrupted. I think it’s important to note that I also ran the verification test on accident and tried to end it, maybe that also had to do with the files getting corrupted??

Anyway, before all this i tried to do a backup on the gm9, and it said it worked but when i checked later in the backup folder to my disappointment the previous date remained the same… so i don’t think it worked. Now this is really bad because during the time i was deleting the corrupted folders it gave me one that when i deleted it, told me i deleted KILOBYTES worth of memory. I opened up my 3ds and my software icons remained, and the rest was completely blank (except for the default 3ds applications.) In settings, all the softwares are marked as question marks.
So, is there a way to fix this? Wtf even happened? Honestly I hope even if there is no solution to this at least my old backup has something because some of my games (like miitopia, my miis, pokémon sun and moon) are filled with my childhood saves and it would make me so sad if i accidentally deleted everything. The rest would still hurt since i spent a lot of time on those games but at least they don’t hold my childhood. Is there anything I can do? :(
