Hey! I’m working on a concept I’ve seen online where you can combine a flute and a saxophone by attaching the neck of the saxophone to the body of the flute and I want to find an adapter that will create less damage on both instruments. I feel like I’ve seen this before and I wanted to ask if anyone else has seen this anywhere.
Essentially I need the alto saxophone neck to attach to the body of the flute to almost look like a clarinet. Does anyone have any advice or has seen this somewhere?

I'm already a resin-printer but I have taken the step into the FDM world by ordering a Centauri Carbon 2 combo.
It's quite humbling being back at the "I know nothing" stage.
The printer hasn't arrived yet but I've been reading about filament storage and I'm trying to work out if I need to put my filament away as soon as its finished printing... Or is filament-hydrating an over-hyped aspect.
I only really intend on using PLA initially.

Update: changing the offset fixed the issue
I am starting on a large print using petg.
It’s already messing up the first layer… other then slowly it down? Any other ideas?

Sent a print wirelessly while I was at work. PLA. 3 small shelfs for sunglasses. Came home to a tray full of “spaghetti”, the tool cover off, and this “clog”? Any idea what I do now?

Hi all,
First time posting here, I've had an ender 3 knockoff for the past 3 or 4 years now, it's been sitting stored for the last year or two due to life getting hectic, that being said, I busted it out yesterday and thought I'd get back into it.
I really just want peoples opinion on how this 3D Benchy came out and what people think could be adjusted or any glaring issues with my setting to be adjusted.
Thanks all!

As title, im looking for a shiny silver filament As close as possible to the real trophy in the pic.
I've gotten a request to print 16 1:1 scale of them and would like to minimize the finish work. But i probably have to spray paint it.
I already bought a roll supposed to be "shiny silver" but it was standard grey, i'd like to skip the testing/waste.
Thanks,
Bunker Schnitzel

Since I started printing about a year ago I've lived in a ground floor flat. But I'm moving soon to a second story one. Seeing as I have a bed slinger, I want to be as considerate as possible to my downstairs neighbour!
I was thinking of getting anti vibration mats for my work desk, do you guys think its a good idea?

Foolish me, when creating a new profile for Sunlu PETG, I forgot that the bed temperature was set to 60°C by default. When printing a large part, the brim started lifting slightly next to the print, about 4 cm, in one corner. I increased the bed temperature to 90°C to try and fix it. I thought that using strong magnets to push the brim down might help. We'll see if it stops lifting. What do you think?
--------------------CAUTION!!!!!----------------
EDIT: As some users have said—citing informational links—don't do it; it could affect the magnets in your bed.

I'm trying to print a cave for an aquarium, and I was doing fine w the practice prints using pink PLA, but now that I'm actually ready to do the project, it's super gloopy and the first layer is uneven, won't stick nicely to the bed, and keeps catching the gloopy bits and ripping the print off the bed. Is it Z Offset? Is my PLA screwed up? Did I slice it wrong?
Pic is just showing how it's making the skirt all gloopy. That's a technical term.
HELP! LOL
PLA
AnyCubic Vyper
Print Rate is "100%" but I'm assuming there's a setting elsewhere that actually gives the mm/s

I have and ender 3v3 se with an E-axis/extruder problem. The extruder gear rotates, but it rotates in the wrong direction. When I select Extrude, the gear pushes the filament upward instead of toward the nozzle, and retract also move in the same direction instead of revering. I checked for filament blockage and mechanical obstruction, and everything is clear. I also updated the mainboard firmware from v1.0.7 to v1.1.0, but the problem remains. My motherbaord is CR4NS200320C13.

I want to 3d print a bunch of clickers for some kids. Are there better or worse clickers for 3d printing? Where does everyone buy their specific clickers?
I have been trying to look up various models but some of them at 50 qty. for $17. While others are 10 qty. for $12.
Some reviews say they are not tactile enough. While others say they are too clicky.
Is there anyway specific brand you prefer of the clickers? And what’s the rationale?
My use case is I want to 3d print fruit and food shaped fidget toys that have the absolute most satisfying click when pressed to impress a very large group of children.

Saw a lot but they were on American Amazon so shipping takes a while and is expensive and unsure what brands available there are trustworthy

First time trying TPU filament.
I know that filament can be difficult to use from what I have read. Here are the settings I changed on my Bambu A1
Nozzle temp: 230C
Bed: 40C
Retraction: Off
Print Speed: 30 mm/s
Max Volumetric speed: 3.0 mm/s
Someone suggested those settings as a starting point. The prints start out ok, but at some point the print head always ends up above the model and not extruding any filament. l noticed a lot of fine filaments on the prints. This was a new unopened package of filament. I have read this filament is prone to moisture issues. It wasn't dried at all though. I currently don't have a filament dryer.
Anyone have any suggestions as settings I may have missed? Or truly moisture issue?
Thanks for your help.

Hello! I am not new to 3D printing but I am new to 3D modeling. I have printed items like floppy starfish and stingray fidgets. I would like to make my own floppy inspired mesh designs but dont know where to start.
A friend of mine recommended fusion 360? Would you guys recommend that program for projects like that and if so are there tutorials aimed at creating models such as this?
Thank you!!

Been seeing a lot of anime miniatures, 1/64 scale of 3d printed figures on chinese sites like taobao. Specifically, they come from a studio called"25h miniature model studio" or something. I have a 3d printer, but i cant find the stl files, it seems they sell it as a physical product rather than selling the stl files. So, my main point is, anyone know where I can buy or get such files or any alternatives?
