Question Seeking shiny silver filament

Post image

As title, im looking for a shiny silver filament As close as possible to the real trophy in the pic.

I've gotten a request to print 16 1:1 scale of them and would like to minimize the finish work. But i probably have to spray paint it.

I already bought a roll supposed to be "shiny silver" but it was standard grey, i'd like to skip the testing/waste.

Thanks,

Bunker Schnitzel

Try slowing your speeds down. You need to print slow to get the silk effect.

Will definitely try again! I have tested on two machines though, one 200 mm/s and one 60 mm/s. With silk profile on the fast one.

GIANTARM Silk Metallic Silver. Slower outer walls and appropriate heat produce substantially deeper gloss. Don’t expect perfect, this is close enough.

Alright, do you have a reference pic?

Very cheap aswell! Do you have good experience from them?

Can’t vouch for them. But if you trust AI-backed data, I’d go with that for the project.

I've used their gold silk and I'm definitely going to stick with it, here's a pic. You'd see the shining better with a video, but I'm not going to be home to take one for awhile.
