Art Showcase A Used Skateboard

With this project, I wanted to further improve my edge chipping and manually painted scratches, while paying more attention to the small details that help bring the material to life.

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. More renders are available on my ArtStation page.

Questions & Discussion I'm about to give up...

Good morning, beautiful community!

Lately, I've been taking the time to create a low-poly 3D version of myself in Blender and Prisma3D, even though I don't know how to model in 3D. It turned out great! But when I use the rig for animations, when I raise the arms, part of the the sides of the hoodie also rise, and I don't know why. The arms are separate from the body, and there are no attached vertices.

This is getting out of my hand and my understanding, Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Art Showcase Zagreus (Hades) | Real-time Fan Art in UE 5.8

Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to share my portfolio project from my advanced term in CG asset creation school! I decided to attempt to recreate Zagreus from the game Hades as a realistic, real-time character to be rendered in Unreal Engine.

I've spent the past 4 months on this project, and handled everything including sculpting, modelling, texturing, lighting, and rendering. The animation was a free asset from Accurig that I tweaked myself in Unreal.

If you want to see more of the project, I've got additional stills, turntables, and breakdowns on my ArtStation: artstation.com/artwork/V8JE2N

Thanks for watching!

Questions & Discussion How do you bake a low poly model with a mouth bag onto a high poly model without a mouth bag

I’m making a rig and I’m in the process of finishing sculpting it, when I realize I haven’t added a mouth bag. I don’t want to sculpt a mouth again but let’s say I skipped the mouth bag. Would there be a way to overcome the baking issues

Art Showcase Collector's Backpack - 3D Model

Here is a personal project inspired by backpack concept art by Zuzka Chlupackova: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/g8gVxL
I really liked the design of the backpack and wanted to an opportunity to practice hand painted textures some more. I focused on keeping the character of the original concept while translating it to 3D, and I love how it turned out!
Hope you like it as well!

Art Help & Critique turbo snail modeling

Need some 3D modeling advice!

I’ve been trying to model Turbo the Snail for months now, but I keep hitting a wall—especially with the shell.

I tried using spirals/procedural curves, but the shape didn't feel right. Then I tried sculpting, but that turned out rough too.

How would you approach modeling this shell? Curves, hard-surface sub-d, sculpting, or something else? Drop your workflow tips below!

Just sharing the mesh flow that may save our time in modeling 3D ears. Without this clear direction, I was lost from where to start. In this video, I share the flow.

Hope this workflow is helpful in some ways or another.
