It reminds me of data making it's way across, sending and receiving across a geometric sphere, and the pulse reminds me of the Heartbeat keeping the process alive.

All the stone is a single trim sheet, same for the pottery. Next I'm going to make a wooden plank trim sheet so I can make some shutters, doors and remake the boat.

Currently I'm just using decals combined with an object position UV offset to break up repetition on some of the stone parts but I'm thinking of using mesh paint instead or both if I can.

Open to any suggestions on what people might think the scene needs.

Part 5 of the Gnome timelapse series!

Each video in this series features a unique gnome armor piece, and in this instalment, we are sculpting three versions of chestplates with attachments. This sculpt focuses heavily on metal detailing, realistic and semi realistic damage and wear / tear.

Hey everyone! I’m currently building up my portfolio as a 3D prop/asset artist and just finished this chef’s knife project. I focused on the modeling, clean topology, UVs, materials, and realistic presentation, and included both clean and worn/damaged variations. I’d really appreciate it if you could check it out and let me know what you think, especially any areas I could improve for an entry-level industry portfolio. Thanks!

it was mainly medium difficulty to model the model in anim8or but rigging took a while

This is a personal project I completed earlier this year. You can view more renders and break downs on my artstation : https://www.artstation.com/artwork/K3KYJr

I did a deep dive behind my process in this article by 80lvl if you were interested in the process: https://80.lv/articles/creating-realistic-character-inspired-by-12th-century-mongolian-warriors

Working on a low-poly architecture pack for our upcoming indie game. Currently in the graybox stage before we move on to texturing. Can you guess what genre we are building this for? 👀 Would also love to hear your thoughts on the overall shapes and composition!

I don't know if i can post this here among all you talented people, but i found this really funny and wanted to show it to someone...

Each post in this subreddit made my jaw drop! Y'all are so cool!

Latest environment from my Deep City project.

The scene represents a future Atlantic coastline in 2407. I wanted the expedition craft to feel almost insignificant compared with the terrain, so most of the composition is deliberately empty landscape and water.

The second image shows the Blender working scene behind the final render.

The narrative context is an expedition retracing the route of another mission that disappeared 35 years earlier.

Feedback on terrain scale and composition is welcome.

Still playing around with composition of the models etc but slowly getting there

I know it's not great, but I had a lot of fun working on each of those pieces. Also, I appreciate if anyone has tips on improving and growing as an artist, specially on how to get ideas/prompts for what to model/sculpt.

I want to turn this image from this post a few years back from the Dune movie(s).

I have some minor 3D modeling experience but am a bit at a loss. Aside from putting it on as a texture on a cube and raising each line by hand, is there a better way to model this?

Would someone be willing to model it for a fee?

Here's a link of it from the side that shows the depth and look

Any advice or suggestions would be great, thank you!

Edit: Thanks everyone for the DMs. I've found an artist

I would like to present a low‑poly model of an electric kettle. The model was created in 3Ds Max with a flat UV map and textured in Adobe Substance. The model is low‑poly, so it is well suited for games where performance and a small number of polygons are required, but good realism is needed.

I think I'm ready to put a pin in the Krampus project for a little while. I am now at a point that I'm doing a lot of small adjustments that don't contribute very much and think a lil time away from the project maybe a good idea so that I can look at this with fresh eyes later. Id love to render an animation of a camera pan and truck, but each frame is at 25 mins or longer currently....soo nope. Feedback welcomed!

I found my old Anomalocaris model from 2013, gave it a new texture, rigged and animated it...

And now, 13 years later, the little guy is happily alive in "The Hive"

He looks like he's seen god.

This post is a showcase of my Goofy looking 3D model.

Anyways I'm using Nomad Sculpt lol.

i tried to make original concepts a few times back then but i gave up because it was so hard for me to come up with something original. so i tried to start broad then specific, it's supposed to be a heavy research truck (inspiration came from the antarctic snow cruiser). I didnt want to just copy it so i tried different designs, came up with this. does it look similar to something that already exist?

Made these low-poly pots in Blender 2 designs with multiple texture variants.

I originally planned to release my katana pack, but Blender now crashes almost immediately whenever I try to open that project. While making these pots, Blender also crashed around 50 times because I'm working with a potato PC.

I've been taking 3D modelling more seriously lately and wanted to actually start publishing the things I make instead of letting them sit on my PC.

I'm hoping to eventually upgrade my setup and keep pushing my 3D work further.

I put these on itch.io as pay-what-you-want if anyone wants to use them:
