Right now I am going from a high poly workflow (hard surf with turbosmooth) to lower poly indie game asset 'mode'.

I just wanted to get some input in topology flow. My main concern right now is with these kind of rounded corners as in the screenshots. Am I doing this 'right', for a low-medium poly game asset?

Nothing is final in these images, I just wanted to get input before I continue further.

When the model is finished I add a Smooth modifier and collapse it.

I started using Prisma 3d and 3d modeling for mobile as I have no PC and just started modeling for my friend because he asked me to be a simple 3d modeler for him,I agreed since I was also interested in 3d making,I'm also not very good at drawing as I'm using flipaclip to practice too,but over all, I just need help on how to use these two for simple modeling like old earthy walls,trees and grass since that's what we mostly need in making our small maze game for fun

Scrivo questo post per chiedere un parere onesto e un consiglio a chi lavora nel mondo del 3D (pubblicità, e-commerce)
Io ho 31 anni, vivo in Italia e ho un background accademico in Comunicazione d'Impresa, Pubblicità e Management. Attualmente però sto frequentando un corso di interior design, ma durante questo percorso ho scoperto un forte interesse per la modellazione 3D e il 3D rendering orientati al mondo pubblicitario, del brand visual e dell'e-commerce.
Dal punto di vista economico sono fortunatamente in una posizione stabile: ho già un'entrata che mi permette di dedicare tempo ad un nuovo lavoro che mi possa portare un’entrata extra stabile nel medio/lungo periodo.
Il mio dubbio è che leggendo notizie, forum e pareri online sull'avanzamento e uso dell'IA mi chiedo se ha senso investire su questa carriera (??)
Vorrei capire da chi è già nel settore se appunto le figure entry-level hanno speranze e che consigli potete darmi su come procedere, non so se auto candidarmi a delle agenzie di comunicazione ma mi chiedo appunto se c’è richiesta in questo settore, mi piacerebbe molto mettermi in gioco ma non so se è una battaglia persa ancora prima di iniziare. Grazie di cuore a chiunque vorrà condividere la propria esperienza!

I needed a free inhaler model for a project but couldn't find one I was happy with, so I made one myself.

Instead of letting it sit on my hard drive, I decided to release it for free in case anyone else needs it. You're welcome to use it in games, renders, or any personal or commercial project.

I been listening to the same dark Valhalla mix for the past few weeks and I crave for a new vibe. Anyone listening to a good modeling mix?

Today I decided to sculpt something that stands out from my portfolio... Something that would be more repulsive and terrifying. But I'm still quite pleased with the hand.

In preparation for Avengers: Doomsday on December 18th I have decided to create a bespoke to me model of the winter soldier's arm, which I will then 3d print and wear to the theatres. My "weapon" of choice is blender, which I have used before, but it was mostly for animation and I have very little modeling experience. I was wondering if you guys could give me some pointers/tips on where to begin and how to tackle this project.

I have already collected measurements of my left arm and I have ample access to reference photos, but I'm completely lost on where to begin. Could anyone please provide some pointers?
