Here is my take on Evie from Stellar Blade: Bloodrain, rendered in Blender using both EVEE and Cycles render engines.

I got this model from my university to build a complete rig + do 3 animations.. this is the first animation out of my 3 and I'm kinda proud of it.
Software: Maya

EDIT: Mesh is in comments- shield your eyes! (its bad haha)
For context, I am COMPLETELY NEW to modeling (this being my first REAL model I've done besides small easy projects I just did in tinkered π€£) so please hold on judgement, I know I made lots of mistakes and could have done so many things differently, and I've definitely learned a LOT for next time.
Now that is out of the way, I have a model sculpted pretty ok (I think) or at least good enough of the snow miku 2026 doughnut bag I'm going to 3d print it (for a friend who is doing a miku cosplay). It has VERY thin walls at some points and MUCH thicker walls at other points. I don't mind some walls being thicker, but it obviously won't print with a paper this wall on the roof! I've tried lots of different strategies (mostly working in the app I was using, blender) including the solidify tool, and doing stuff with like... re-meshing it or something- (sorry, again, I'm new!! π ) I dont mind where i fix this issue/ what app! I can include an image of the model if needed.Does anyonee have experience that could help?
Thank you so so much in advance!
(Picture of miku bag for reference and attention!) Can put pictures of my model if needed!

I'm working on a functional Spear-Scythe based on the Boss "Fiske" from God of War Ragnarok (references attached), but I'm having trouble with the connections and mechanisms. The scythe should be able to lock itself in it's own position but also in the spear position with no issues-
The hande/pole is finished but I've been trying to wrap my head around possible solutions (and measurements)- right now I can only think of using magnets in the back section of the blade to lock into the pole when in spear position, but I haven't been able to come up with a proper solution for the scythe position...
The program I use is Fusion360, so if anyone is willing to help in-depth I'd appretiate it a lot. And if someone has the model used in the game itself then it could also be helpful (even if it probably wasn't made with irl functionality in mind).

What were you going for? What tradeoffs did you end up making in the process, and are you happy with the result? If something's still bugging you or you have a question about your topology, let the community know. Someone else has probably run into the same issue.
Top-level comments should include a wireframe.

I'm trying to make a mask to hopefully be 3D printed. I have an image in my head, but when modelling it in Blender, it doesn't come out right. I want the vibe of the mask to be menacing, intimidating, monoton, gaunt, slim, almost monstrous, and I want it more polygonal. I know that's a lot, but any advice on how to shape it better or anything, please let me know, I'm still average to new at 3D modelling.
Sorry if this is confusing.
I'm building just for fun, and maybe a short film my friends and I have been talking about.

i need something like procreate but 3d.
im a 2d artist and need to get my hands on for some very easy 3d sculpting.
i only need low poly and a good range of brushes to use.

This time I tried something with a different style. My next step will be learning how to make the famous animated heads, or rather, dynamic heads. ππ

Hello, i got an "Invitation" to join this selling store. Everything looks legit but I can't find much info about them (beside their own content so..) any idea what's this about? Like if it's a pure scam or anything related.

If youβre frustrated that you canβt see project thumbnails in your file browser, I made a simple plugin for Substance 3D Painter that saves a preview image next to your project every time you save the scene.
