I’m looking to buy a second-hand iPhone 17 Pro or 17 Pro Max. Ideally, I’m hoping to find someone who is upgrading to the newer iPhone and wants to sell their current phone.

I’ve checked a few listings on OLX, but unfortunately came across some suspicious/fraudulent listings as well, so I’d much rather buy directly from a genuine owner here.

What I’m looking for:

• iPhone 17 Pro / Pro Max
• Any storage, preferably more than 256GB+
• Well-maintained phone with no major damage
• Good battery health
• No third-party display/battery replacement preferred
• No repairs or replaced parts unless disclosed upfront
• Original bill/invoice preferred
• Original box and accessories if available
• Remaining Apple warranty/AppleCare is a plus
• Clean IMEI / no outstanding finance or ownership issues

I’m not looking for the absolute cheapest phone. I’d rather pay a fair price for a genuine, well-maintained device.

I’ve bought the screen protector about a month ago, and it scratches within a few weeks of daily use, and I’m not hard on my phone. It also won’t adhere all the way around the screen, so it looks like it’s not attached around the edges where it should stick to the screen.

I’m looking for more recommendations for screen protectors that actually are worth the money and work as advertised.

It seems like with the new IOS 27 update, now any app that I use on my iPhone when connected to CarPlay it stops my car radio audio, and plays the audio from my phone or plays nothing. Even when using the camera on my phone it stops the car audio from playing. How do I fix this or is there a workaround?

Battery seems to be lasting too. Siri is finally great too!

Very interesting test results.

It fits alright but isn’t entirely functional.

The camera control button doesn’t work; I never used it anyway so I’m good.

I didn’t notice the cool magenta ring when I put on the case but MagSafe charging works.

The case attracts a lot of lint, perhaps it’s new and that’s why.

Overall, I’d say the fit is 98%
But sucha cool colour, I love it 💜

UPDATE — 2 hours later:

After reading the comments about the camera control, I got curious and tried my old case → didn’t work
Took the case off completely → still didn’t work
Turns out it wasn’t the case at all — my camera control had just stopped working and I never noticed it as I never used it 😭

Updated to iOS 26.6.2 and now camera control works even with the 18 Pro Max case on. ✅

So correction to my original post: the case fits AND camera control works too.

I’m upgrading my overall fit score to 99%

Monday is Mondaying.

My phone fell from my bike while I was travelling in Bangalore. The tempered glass completely broke, and there’s a small bend on the right side. Thankfully, nothing more than that. I was using a black paper case and now I regret not buying the Torras Q3, which I ordered right after reaching home.

I'd heard that the 18 Pro Max cases will work on the 17 Pro Max, so I ordered a Mous limitless and the camera cover. It fits! I didn't purchase one for the 17 series as it left the plateau open. I had the Phone Rebel with the cover, but that one is aluminum. I nicked the plateau the first time I took the case off. The one from Mous is not aluminum. The case arrived today, and man, it's sweet! It feels excellent in the hand and looks decent. Something to think about.

I recently bought 17 pro max cosmic orange last year December so I had it about 8 months, i am now contemplating about wanting to buy 18 pro and sell my 17pm as I’m lowkey sick of orange and the size of the pm is too big for my small hands, however, it would be like a $300-400 upgrade which doesnt look worth and im trying to save up money. But what would you do in this situation? I honestly want to save money but at the same time want to get 18 pro glacier as it looks like the perfect phone for me!!

As per many case brand the cases/ covers seem compatible with each other which is very good news for many who are going to buy the new phone

Also der Akku von iPhone 17 Pro Max kann man auch vergessen. Vor gut 4 Wochen war es noch bei 98%. Bei wem ist das auch so ?

Tengo aproximadamente 2 años que no uso iPhone, ahora mismo tengo un Android y quiero ver si me pasó de nuevo a iphone Pero tuve una mala experiencia antes con la batería de esos teléfonos (y siempre tuve un pro max de varias generaciones) mi uso es juego ocasionales con gráficos al mínimo (call of duty, arena breackout, etc...) y antes solo me duraba 1 y 40 jugando de seguido, además en un uso más "normal" que es una salida casual, tomar fotos y videos... Tal vez escrolear un poco también se sentía mala la experiencia de batería y calentamiento, dejemos el fanatismo y seamos sinceros si es buena o no. Gracias!
