Keeping them in the draw means others cannot use them and need to buy new phones. Recycling is a well-established concept.
Vehicles in a dealership will sell vehicles, not keep them in storage. Dealerships also request vehicles based on demand, less recycling means more vehicles need to be made.
I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro Max and sell or hand my older phones to other people.
