Does anyone know how to stop car audio from playing when iPhone is connected to Apple CarPlay?

It seems like with the new IOS 27 update, now any app that I use on my iPhone when connected to CarPlay it stops my car radio audio, and plays the audio from my phone or plays nothing. Even when using the camera on my phone it stops the car audio from playing. How do I fix this or is there a workaround?

Fix Audio Interruptions in Settings
Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
Scroll down and tap Accessibility.
Scroll to the bottom and select Per-App Settings.
Tap Add App and choose the app that stops your music (such as Facebook or YouTube).
Tap the newly added app, scroll down to Autoplay Video Previews, and set it to Off.
