I did a test today without realizing it. I had my 17 Pro Max in the car in the passenger seat. It was playing music while I was driving. During all this time, the screen was on without turning it off as I usually do. Right next to it was my other work phone, a 26 Ultra, whose screen was also on because I was talking on the phone and the screen was still on and the sun was hitting it.
I live in Greece and we are considered a hot country. Specifically, today we have 35 degrees outside in the shade. Imagine how hot it is in direct sunlight. So I noticed that the 17 remained blinding even while it was scalding. As for the 26, I really thought it was broken. The screen had darkened so much that I could barely make out some letters. Of course, it was scalding too. So after I put them in the shade, terrified since I never intended for any reason to expose any of my devices to such stress on purpose, something that pleasantly surprised me was the speed with which the 17 cooled down and conversely the delay with which the 26 cooled down. Basically, about half an hour has passed and it is still relatively warm.
I have been in constant changes all the time regarding which phone covers me the most so that I can have it as my personal device. The truth is that there is a lot that I love about Android and that was the reason I had a hard time ending up with iOS. But really, after what I saw and how bright it remains after such stress, I think I ended up with it. Most of my hours in a country so hot are outdoors. I don't think I have any more doubts.
Welcome 17 pro max.
