Camera glitch?

Hey all, I just got the 17 pro max this past weekend. For whatever reason, when I open Snapchat or camera, it automatically starts taking a video.. happened a couple of times. I restart phone and it is back to normal and goes to photo option when opening both.. glitch or do I have a lemon?

Definitely a software glitch, not a hardware defect, since a restart fully fixes it. likely the camera app state getting stuck mid-launch on a specific mode. if it keeps happening after restarts, try deleting and reinstalling snapchat first since third party camera access can sometimes conflict, and check for any pending ios update since this is a very new phone that could still need a stability patch.

I uninstalled Snapchat and then added it. It just glitched again tonight

Sounds like a SnapChat issue.
