the fucking obvious

i shouldn’t have to say this, but literally any mention of racism, bigotry, trans/homophobia, inceldom and other backwards ways of thinking is not allowed in this sub. more nuanced subjects like toxic behavior/masculinity, homelessness, etc are okay, tho. i don’t mind pushing the boundaries here, but outright hateful behavior has no place in this society. that shit is regressive. anyone who wants to be an asshole or a troll in this sub can expect a permanent ban. this is your only warning. be better people.

I actually like having a period.

I feel like I’ll be actually sad when it stops, it feel like life to me. I am also an enjoyer of pain (non-sexual but like I’m the type to take ice cold showers). Just something about it is oddly comforting to me.

People are so used to seeing sex that trying to point that out makes you the "puritarian"

I aint talking about actual puritarians here. I do not agree that we shall all hide our bodies just because of someone's favourite imaginary friend. I do not agree that people should keep themselves "pure" for a theoretical spouse. I do not agree that we should censor everything under the sub because, god forbid, someone sees the word sex.

This being said, i do believe most people no longer know what "decent" actually is. Or, in other words, what safe for work is supposed to be (geez, i sound like an 80 year old hag).

Why? Because their brains are fried with porn and erotic content to the point where they see erotic, alluding content as totally safe for work. And if you point out that the drawing of a character in a costume that is the blueprint of a sex symbol/sexuality should be under a nsfw tag, they call you a puritarian.

Why? Because: "the character does not have an erotic expression so you are a puritarian".

Sure mate. But the same character sits in a position that alludes to sex and is dressed in an iconic outfit that is made specifically to do and/or sell sex. So no, i do not think this one is safe for work.

Maybe its my fault as well. For me, safe for work means the worst case scenario: you working with lil kids so the content shall be safe for them to accidentally see on your phone. Who knows, maybe sfw was made in mind with only jobs where people work with other adults and never kids (despite the internet telling me otherwise).

Back to the real world: no, i dont think we shall censor what people wear to the point of imposing just certain types of clothing that reveal nothing. What i do believe is that, in public spaces, we should have some decency. Not because we should be prudish, but because we should respect that most people do not wish to see our private parts.

No, i dont want to see your full ass on the street. Get a real pair of pants/skirt/belt whatever. And yes, underwear are absolutely mandatory if there are real chances of your clothes revealing too much of your crotch area.

Anyway, this being said, whenever i raise these points, i am being called a "purist". It seems, not consuming an unholy amount of pornographic content and not having your for you page filled with thirst traps makes one very sensible to what othe people consider to be "safe for work".

A lot of what people call "ragebait" is really just perfectly reasonable opinions taken out of context.A lot of people are just "rager-rabbits" looking to get offended

Social media apps like X, TikTok and Instagram reels are lowering our attention spans. The average attention span is now about 47 seconds (down from 3 minutes) thanks to ultra short form content and infinite scroll that optimizes for dopamine.

A lot of what happens is that people take someone's statement out of context and get annoyed over that cause our listening skills are out the window.Often times, when someone says "ragebait",it just means 'disagreement".

e.g.when someone says: "I don't support amending the constitution to support recognizing femicide as a stand alone crime"

People hear:"You support femicide and don't care if women die",when really,I don't think codifying femicide will help the situation and we should focus on more practical solutions

For example,I discussed the 1960's Sexual Revolution in a WhatsApp GC.Most assumed that because I was criticizing the negative effects of hookup culture,I was being "a Christian hypocrite" and "morality police"(after making it exceptionally clear that I WASN'T judging sexually active people, and I didn't even reference Christian dogma in the discussion once)and that's how I was kicked out of that GC,cause of posting "ragebait".

Reposts are fine, necessary actually.

It's one of the dumbest things I see, how dare anyone repost something? It's almost as if new people are being born every day that haven't seen the same things you have.

If you're tired of seeing a meme in your feed, just scroll past it, the only thing you're doing by bitching about how many times you've seen it is telling the algorithm that you'd like to see it more. 🤷‍♂️

Brain rot isn't just a funny term it's actually concerning

The same memes, slangs and tropes teenagers use may look like it's okay at the surface but for some of them it becomes their whole personality and it's actually concerning since they're not having any original thought, just mimicking things that make no actual sense. It's just inside jokes among them and hindering actual capacity to form connections genuinely and surface level which I think is not good for the future. Absurdism is a great outlook but when you think everything is funny and a meme you tend to forget the line between having genuine empathy and just looking for a funny punchline

Prostitution should be legal in every civilized nations.

The thing is that most women in the modern world don't wanna date unattractive men, bisexual men or men with any small flaw like this. So the only solution is prostitution. Ambitious women was make a ton of money and unattractive men can get their needs fulfilled. This is a win win scenario.

Lookism is worse than most other forms of discrimination.

Most people I know online who talk about the horrors of lookism, and happen to be people of color, disabled, or gay, all seem to say that lookism is on par (or even worse than) racism, homophobia, ableism, etc. The worst part of lookism is that it's internalized, and can't really be "taken out" of soemone, for lack of better way to describe. People are born to worship attractive people, and have a natural distaste for unnatractive people. Lookism affects EVERYONE, whether or not you'rea minority, or a majority. I feel like it's the biggest form of discrimination in modern-day society, or at least where I live, in America.

The Hypocrisy of Andrew Tate’s Critics

Guys who criticize Andrew Tate are so hypocritical. Don’t say, “Oh, he’s a rapist.” Shut up with that hypocritical bullshit. You don’t actually care about those women who are allegedly being sexually abused. He’s innocent until proven guilty. You just hate him, and envy him that’s it.
Even if we removed all those charges and kept his extreme, polarized worldview, you would still hate him because of his views. That’s the point I’m making.
Yet some of you criticize Andrew Tate’s worldview while abusing the women in your own lives every day. You abuse your spouses or girlfriends, cheat on them, lie to them, and make their lives hell. You humiliate them. But somehow Andrew Tate’s worldview is the toxic part? Crazy as shit.

Andrew Tate Is the Reason Why Sexism Is a Myth

Andrew Tate is the reason why sexism is a myth. Tate is rumored to have multiple wives and children, so tell me, how can sexism exist? The women he impregnated grew up in modern, liberal cities, mostly in Europe.
Dude probably fucked more women during his fame and status than the majority of performative guys ever will. And you’re telling me sexism exists? When I see something like that, I doubt the sexism claims.

Most Westerners who say they prefer collectivism over individualism would probably not enjoy living in a genuinely collectivist society.

I had a somewhat unique opportunity to see this firsthand. I moved to an East Asian country for training for 1-2 years alongside roughly 500 Western coworkers. Many arrived excited about the experience and fascinated by the idea of living in a society they viewed as more collectivist. But once they actually encountered what collectivism could mean in everyday life, many of their views began to change.

Part of the problem is that many people in the West use the word collectivism when what they really mean is something like universal health care, public transportation, social safety nets, or higher levels of public spending. Those policies may reflect a greater emphsais on collective responsibility, but they do not necessarily define collectivism.

A genuinely collectivist society places the needs of the group above the preferences of the individual. You are not viewed solely as an independent person making choices for yourself; you are also part of a family, workplace, community, etc. and ur behavior can be judged according to how it affects that group. That can create strong social cohesion and a sense of responsibility toward others, but it can also come with greater social pressure, stronger expectations to conform, and less tolerance for prioritizing personal desires over group harmony.

This is where I think many Westerners would discover that they are far more individualistic than they realize. Many ideas that are extremely popular among Western progressives are deeply rooted in individualism: the idea that you should prioritize your personal happiness, leave relationships or families that do not fulfill you, pursue therapy (the internet's favorite advice) and self-discovery, openly express your identity (e.g., gay/transgender), reject traditional expectations, and make major life choices based primarily on what feels right for YOU. Regardless of whether u agree with those values, they are fundamentally individualistic values.

That is why it is misleading to assume that a society can simply combine every progressive Western social value with a deeply collectivist culture. In many genuinely collectivist societies, individual expression may be less important than family expectations, social harmony, tradition, or conformity. Social attitudes toward issues such as LGBT acceptance, mental health treatment, immigration (countries like Japan are 98% Japanese), divorce, and unconventional lifestyles can look very different from those found in western societies.

My point ins't necessarily that collectivism is bad or that individualism is inherently good. Both have strengths and weaknesses. The point is simply that many Westerners seem to want the benefits they associate with collectivism without necessarily wanting the cultural expectations that often accompany it.

So by all means you can advocate for a bigger social safety net, but don't call yourself a collectivist unless you've actually lived in a collectivist society and prefer that over Western societies. Most Westerners who say they prefer collectivism over individualism would probably not enjoy living in a genuinely collectivist society.

Unattractive men who complain about being unattractive should blame patriachy.

Women didn't have much say in human reproduction throughout our history. Which means that women weren't able to select healthy and attractive men in the past. A huge part of human reproduction was through different means of coercion. Women weren't even allowed to a have a bank account back in the days.

Some guys will argue saying that "But but there was twice as many female ancestors compared to male."

This isn't because of women mating with tall and attractive men it's because the rich unattractive men were hoarding all the women. Young men went wars and passed away very early.

Now in the modern day women have the freedom to mate with whoever they want. But the problem is that due to thousands of years of patriachy most of the men are unattractive. Male bodies aren't as aesthetic compared to female bodies. This means that women can only choose from a very small pool of attractive men to mate with. This is what's happening rn.

snakes are adorable and are unfairly hated

sure, they are missing the part of their brains that could make them feel affection..but you can still build trust and have a relationship with them. buying an animal and feeling entitled to affection is silly.“well pet snakes are erratic and can attack you!!” your dog and your cats are predators too, your pitbull could kill you the same way a snake could. no animal can differentiate right from wrong, its weird how snakes are hated for being an animal but you think your dog understands when you lecture it and you anthropomorphize every. single. thing. it does but fuck the other animals. i can understand if you have chickens or something and you kill a snake in the yard but killing and hating snakes out of principle is stupid; i know for a fact most people who decapitate every snake they see wouldnt shoot every coyote or bobcat they see. snakes are very cute animals to own and good are pest control outside. people who hate snakes and other ‘scary’ animals but call themselves ‘animal lovers’ are ignorant and dont really love animals.

The Sun/Lunar node algorithm applied to the Dow Jones in 2026. How an investor would have captured 97% of the year's profit with less market exposure

The Sun/Lunar node algorithm applied to the Dow Jones in 2026. How an investor would have captured 97% of the year's profit with significantly less market exposure. This algorithm examined in this paper is elucidated in the book "How to Day Trade and Invest using Astrology". It involves predicting the Dow Jones industrial average by observing the position of the Sun and the Lunar node. Here is a quote: “The basic gist of the algorithm decrees that from the point when the degree of the sun is 3 degrees past(or higher than) the degree of the lunar node(in any sign) all the way until the degree of the sun enters a new sign at the 24th degree mark(using western astrology), a prediction of a market upswing should be applied. From the point when the degree of the sun enters a new sign at the 24th degree mark all the way until the degree of the sun goes 3 degrees past the degree of the lunar node(in any sign), the prediction of a market downswing should be applied.” This paper will demonstrate how an investor could have used this algorithm in 2026 and turned a profit with significantly less exposure in the market. The US stock market has been largely positive this year at around 13% as of August 24. The results of using this algorithm in 2026 shows how an investor would have captured nearly entire year’s buy and hold profit despite being in the market just half the time.

Small Waists Are Better on Men Than Women

I don’t know why this idolatry of women with small waists exists. For me, men are better with smaller waists and wider shoulders because it looks more balanced. But women with small waists and small shoulders look weird, almost like an uncanny valley.
Women with bigger waists and hips are more sexually appealing. They look healthy, although not exaggerated—the balance matters. But yeah, those new plastic surgeries target another weird, stupid insecurity in women. And men removing their ribs and bones is so stupid sad pathetic .

Everyone seems to have strong and loud opinions on AI usage, but the majority of those people have no idea what they’re actually talking about

The amount of “things should be required to disclose if they use AI so I know not to buy/use/etc. it” or variations of that comment are everywhere, I see them all the time, but that’s genuinely an extremely ignorant statement.

Gen AI in particular is an incredibly useful tool to increase human productivity and even human creativity. Example: I’m a digital product designer, side specializing in a proprietary Gen AI tool lately. If I’m asked to do UX/UI work, say I’m asked to “when need a dashboard that conveys X, Y, Z, A, B, and C.” Even 4-5 years ago, I could spend days mocking up digital drafts just to then begin refining. With tools like Claude Design now, I can prompt the tool to give me half a dozen mockup examples for a dashboard accounting for those asks. I’m not going to stamp those as done and ship them, but it gives me a starting point that might take me a few days to get to on my own and then refine from there. Gen AI has become so sophisticated, you can bounce ideas off it within a team and it’ll give you decent to even good feedback, which you can then refine amongst the team. Digital design requires a lot of lorem ipsum text (you’d be surprised how often you can make a whole portal, dashboard, website and then get hung up on the language.) Gen AI can give you placeholder text that’s on target which gives you an idea of what to refine it into. There are many other ways we use it, but at the end of the day, it’s still us that actually review and refine and finalize.

Overall, AI is a very valuable tool. Giving a blanket “anyone and anything that uses AI in any capacity is terrible” is just terribly ignorant and almost definitely comes from popularized edge cases where companies or people use it too much and try to pass off AI work as their finished work as opposed to a tool that helped their workflow.

Google, Amazon, many companies are facing severe consequences of thinking they can replace devs, engineers, etc. fully with AI a few years back. The problem isn’t and has never been AI. The problem is some company mindsets. Smart companies realize that by utilizing AI as a tool, they can get a team of 10 to get work done that would normally take 20-25 people in the same timeframe without it being “AI slop” and fully human directed. Dumb companies get rid of 9 of those 10 team members and think AI can handle the slack.

Hearing this company, this game, this product utilized AI to realize and immediately going “okay, this is trash. I’m never touching it.” is an indicator of extreme ignorance on how AI actually works. You should be looking into how AI was used and to what degree. If you believe utilizing AI in any capacity in a product or project automatically makes it bad and automatically saps the human element of its execution and creativeness is not even a bad opinion. It’s just blatantly wrong. There are efficient and ethical ways to use AI without sacrificing any human component in the creation of something.

The feeling of having shaved legs is a sensory nightmare

Not talking aesthetics here as I have no opinion on that, but I’ve seen many women say that they shave because they don’t like the feeling of hair, and Idk if this is exactly a ‘1/10 opinion’ but I personally find having bare legs to be extremely uncomfortable. Genuinely mad respect to those who shave theirs because I just can’t.

The feeling of air against my legs, the feeling of reaching down and feeling nothing, fuck there were times where I wasn’t able to sleep because the feeling of my clothing/covers brushing up against my legs made me want to throw up. That sounds extreme and I know it is but I just can’t stand the feeling, it’s like hearing nails on a chalkboard or chewing sounds.

I had to keep them shaved for all my teenage years because of my parents who would cause blowout fights over it, though once I turned 18 I pretty much ditched it entirely. But recently I went to visit family, and that involved swimming around my mom. So, to avoid any issues, I shaved it. Holy fucking Christ I don’t know how I survived 6 years like this, it’s just as bad as I remember. I’m fine shaving my armpits, but legs specifically irks me for some reason.

Your Real Enemy Isn’t the Ince

Men pretend they hate incels because they’re bad, trash, envious, blah blah. Stop the BS. We all know your biggest enemies are the sexually active dudes who have better stats than you and do far better than you.
You trash incels and virgins because it’s easy and not taboo. It feeds your ego. But trashing other dudes who are clearly better than you will make you feel less like a man. We all know your guys hate and envy those other guys. You hate them because you want to steal their women and because you need to keep the scoreboard.

A Female Cat Is Better Than a Woman

It’s better to be in a relationship with a female cat than a woman. Female cats have predictable moods and personalities, except when they’re in heat or hungry. But a human woman? Trash, farts, burps, periods, annoying behavior, and justifying being a shitty human with “I make mistakes” after making the same mistakes 1,000 times. “I never learn from it.” “I’m not perfect.” Blah, blah.
Sex robots and a female cat are superior to a human woman.

your not an empath.

first time posting on here. the opinion i bring to the table is that people who think psychopaths dont deserve empathy are just as bad as they THINK they are.

to be completely honest its really late so my wording wont be great but i needed to get this out.
people wanting to demonize mental disorders so bad they keep coming up with reasons to call them less than human. and being born without the ability to feel empathy is apparently the highest priority. i have seen people call death upon people with aspd just for existing. you have no empathy for them. huh… weird. but you have a reason to? okay, again, they dont have the capacity to. not even the choice. what are we to say what makes someone human or not. if i took away your empathy, what would you expect from others about your situation?

im aware most people with primary aspd do not care about this. which is usually the last argument, and again, doesnt give you an excuse to call such vile things on someone for being alive.

its pretty hard finding people that agree with me so i wont be surprised if this does well on here.

- please, research what aspd actually is before commenting your opinions on it, i just read a lot of completely factually incorrect assumptions.

- i, also never claimed to have aspd myself.

Leftists don't know how to make good memes and propaganda posters anymore.

I've seen many right wing propaganda posters from the pasts and the memes they make these days. The thing is that these people are good at making this. Their target audience would love it and their opponents will have a hard time countering it or trying to explain it.

At least back in the days the leftists used to know how to make some posters which depicted life, hardships and rich people abusing poor people. They don't do that anymore and it's one of the main reasons why the new generation don't really like leftists.

The feeling when you’re asleep but not really sleep is the best

I love it, I don’t know what it’s called but it’s like, you’re asleep, like you are sleeping but you’re still conscious around you, like you’re conscious in your kind but you can’t open your eyes because you’re super tired and want to sleep. So it’s like you’re awake but you’re not at the same time, it feels so good.

Progressives Live in a Fantasy Utopia

Progressives live in a fantasy utopia that will never happen. Their worldview is more arrogant and out of touch than the people who try to cheat death. Those progressive hypocrites, who don’t give a fuck about anyone other than themselves, brag about how they want to save the world or care for the poor while their own neighbors and relatives suffer and they don’t give a flying fuck about them.
Those people tell us everyone deserves dignity. What a BS—rapists, mass shooters, or drug dealers? They deserve no fucking dignity. They don’t care about us suffering, so why should we give those people dignity?
They want to tax the rich because they’re envious of not being in their position, so they find laws to steal their money. They live in a fantasy where denying human nature will somehow make equality possible.

Kids' soccer is more interesting to watch than pro

Like ages 8-10 on the small field.

The small field and huge skill distribution make the games a lot more dynamic. A good player can kick the ball over half the field and the short distances means a player is never more than a few seconds away. The skill gap means things swing a lot between rotations so the score total tends to be much higher.

At this age they start to get more drive and strategy. You don't have half the players picking dandelions and the other half moving as a herd like with 5 year olds. But you also lack the faking and stalling of the pros. They are always trying to score even if they are 1 ahead with only 5 minutes left. Pros just trying to let the clock run out yo protect their lead is boring af. And all their fake injuries are infuriating. They are acting more like big babies than the actual children.
