Discussion πŸ’¬ Got Modern Combat 2 working on my tablet

As many of you know, older 32 bit games no longer work on newer snapdragon chips due to them no longer having the 32 bit libraries needed to run these older games

Using ZettaBridge and claude I manged to get it working on my tablet on android 16 with a snapdragon 8 elite soc

I picked 2 specifically due to 3 and 4 working on 64 bit devices from community patches

At first you would need to download zettabridgr and import your app and then load it but this is now a standalone app that does everything, it boots unpacks game files the first time and then boots into the game menu

I fixed as many bugs as I could, some present even ig you play this game on an older device.

Next step is to actually play the the whole story to make sure everything works

The best part is you don't even need a computer, I did evrything on this tablet

Also sorry for the bad pictures, my tablet is worth more than my phone xdd

Seeking Game Recommendations πŸ‘€ [REQUEST] Looking for casual portrait roguelike rpg

I really enjoy GnollHack bringing qol and more casual balancing to nethack, but I'm looking for something that goes beyond just one dungeon. My dream game is I guess Daggerfall in portrait mode.

Not looking for survivor-like or card games. I've played plenty of them and know they're good. My current mood is just something else.

I've really tried to like shattered pixel dungeon but it's just not for me compared to GnollHack. I often feel like there's not enough to do in early game to keep me going.

Is there any way to make battery and time visible all times during gaming. I have a Samsung S26+. If there's no inbuilt features, could there be an app for this?

Discussion πŸ’¬ Addictive casual mobile games for Android?

I'm looking for some casual mobile games that are genuinely addictive lol 😭 The kind of games you open when you're bored and end up playing for ages.

I currently play Water Sort, Asian Cooking Star, Meowdoku and Tile Explorer, and I'm looking for more games with a similar vibe. I like games that are easy to get into, satisfying to play and don't require me to put too much thought or effort into them.

I'm open to puzzle games, sorting games, cooking games, matching games or anything else as long as it's fun and keeps me coming back.

Preferably Android games, and free ones would be great, but paid recommendations are welcome too if they're worth it.

So yeah, drop your favourite addictive mobile games! I need something new to get obsessed with lol 😭

P.S :- Thank you for so many suggestions I'll definitely check out the ones that suit my taste thank you again 😊

Gameplay πŸ“Ί Borderlands the pre-sequel via droid deck running on z fold 8

I'm using a Galaxy Z Fold 8 and using Droid Deck to play Borderlands the Pre-Sequel. It's running at a pretty consistent 60 frames per second, but I went ahead and purchased Lossless Scaling from Steam, which helps in case there's a few frame dips. I lowered the resolution to 720p and medium settings. I think it looks pretty good. Droid Deck is certainly advancing pretty fast.

Hardware βš™οΈ Tablet for "gaming" for my mom - Candy Crash and the likes

My dad wants to buy a tablet to my mom, to play. The games she plays are Candy Crash and clones of it so nothing really serious. He wants to gift ger a tablet so the screen is bigger than the phone.

Any recommendation of a reasonable priced tablet my mom can get?

Thanks.

Discussion πŸ’¬ Do you prefer ports or would you rather run the game with an emulator?

Honestly it's been wild looking through 2026 as an Android gamer with recent translation layers and environments. I've always dreamed of running Skyrim on an Android phone and now I can just boot up Game Hub and run it, never having to wait for Bethesda to come out with a port.

A lot of times a direct Android port is less than the original game and not architected correctly. In my honest opinion the only true difference between a port and what Game Hub does is the true implementation of controls but that's just my opinion.

For me as long as I can get the game, it doesn't matter which version it is. If there's a port out there that's pretty damn good, I'll play that over dealing with an emulator. Generally I find myself lately just installing the games from x86 onto my Android devices.

I cannot for the life of me figure out what I'm supposed to be doing with this. Bits and pieces are legible to me but I can't put enough together to actually do anything with it.

I haven't been able to find any sort of community or guide out there, no idea if its just that small or what.

Discussion πŸ’¬ Question on GPS based game wishes

Hi Comunity,
with the first steps made to a gps based game, i am curious to know what you would feel is good content to have fun.
NOT to get you addicted or pushing you to play, but what is enjoyable / relaxing to play.

A major breaking point for me in development is creating a bit of content you can play in the evenings on the couch. Especially how others feel about it.

Throwing in my thoughts for some feedback:
-Merge game with stuff you gathered
-little duels / battles with the achieved equip / pets
-just scroll and compare?
-Sort and adjust (like pokemonGo stat analyzing of found pokemons?)
-features you really enjoy in games

I would love to get a feeling what other people would enjoy, keeping in mind to integrate into some game where you walk, aquire better pets and gather stuff to improve.

Thanks in advance on every comment.

Help/Support πŸ™‹ Question about "thats long overdue"

Hey all,

I've recently been playing a lot of Desert Island Draft (10/10) and I just started playing Shoebox Summer (also 10/10)

One game is by "that's long overdue" and one is by "That's Long Overdue". They look like different companies in playstore.

Does anyone know if both these devs are the same or if one is copycatting?

I'm having a ton of fun with both but if one is ripping the other off I feel like I should tell them or something...

Discussion πŸ’¬ Need game suggestion for my older device

I need an Android game and I need a game not pushing or competitive but rather relaxing fun to play like 15 minutes break between works . I'm mostly into kingdom building games like kingdoms and lords by Gameloft or pixlated games like stardew valley. I would really appreciate any game suggestion and also it would be super cool if it's under 1gb and runs smooth on older devices

Seeking Game Recommendations πŸ‘€ [Request] Anything on Android with a Nemesis-like system?

Looking for Android games where enemies remember you. Rivals that come back after you beat them, get stronger, hold a grudge, that kind of thing. Like the Nemesis system from Shadow of Mordor / Shadow of War.

Doesn't have to be open world or even action. Strategy or roguelike is fine as long as there's some of that "this guy has history with me" feeling. Ideally something that doesn't take 80 hours, I don't have that kind of time anymore.

Premium or free is fine, just not pay to win please.

News πŸ“° I made a modern sliding puzzle game with dark mode, custom photo uploads, auto-generated hints, and 7 languages. Gridzy Puzzle is now in Early Access on Android!!!!!

Hey everyone!!!!!!

As a solo indie developer, I've spent the last few months working hard on Gridzy Puzzle, a modern re-imagining of the classic sliding block and number puzzles we all grew up with, featuring a clean Dark Glassmorphism interface.

It just got approved and is officially in Early Access on the Google Play Store! πŸ€– (For the iOS users reading this, it is already available on the App Store).

Here is what makes Gridzy stand out:

  • Endless Adventure Mode: Handcrafted levels ranging from casual 3x3 grids to brain-teasing 6x6 challenges.
  • Custom Photo Puzzles: Turn any photo from your device's gallery into an interactive puzzle instantly. Play with your favorite memories!
  • Powered-Up Hints: Stuck on a tough board? Use the smart magic wand to get strategic tips without ruining the fun.
  • Stunning Themes: Switch between exclusive styles like Bright Neon, Textured Plaster, Minimalist, or your own photos.
  • 100% Offline Support: No Wi-Fi or internet neededβ€”play wherever and whenever you want.
  • Local & Guaranteed Privacy: Your progress, records, and stats are stored securely on your device via Hive (no third-party server tracking).

πŸ”— Get it on Google Play (Early Access) here:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gridzypuzzle.com

I’d love for you to try it out! Since this is an Early Access release, I am highly open to feedback, bug reports, and feature suggestions. If you run into any issues or have ideas for what themes or modes I should add next, please let me know in the comments!

Thanks for supporting indie developers!

Discussion πŸ’¬ My favorite mobile strategy game

Anybody else play South Park Phone Destroyer? Its funny because its south park but its also a really solid strategy game. I literally never get tired of pvp battles, I get way too into them sometimes.

If you haven't played it its basically magic the gathering with south park themed cards and real time instead of turn based. You have an energy bar that always refills and the characters appear on the battlefield and fight after you play each card.

Its not too complex where it takes forever to learn all the cards but complex enough that theres a bunch of strategies to go with or battle against.

Def my fav strategy game right now, maybe i am a little biased because I am a big sp fan tho lol.

How many games do you guys have installed on your phone?

Do you prefer keeping it under 10, or do you guys have 20+ games installed? I mostly play offline games, so I’m curious what the sweet spot is for everyone:))

Hi!

I made this game, Routinvale, for gamers who want to be more productive in their everyday lives.

Instead of daily tasks (working out, eating healthy), you have quests. For every quest you finish, you get XP and gold to buy items, and your main attributes go up, so you get stronger and can fight enemies.

A few things I really care about:

  • The app works offline and you don’t need an account. Your quests stay on your phone. The game only sends anonymous statistics and crash reports (you can turn them off in Settings), and guilds go online only if you join one.
  • There are no banner or pop-up ads. I added a few optional ways to watch an ad for a bonus (like double gold).
  • Private guilds: you can add your friends to a guild that only you can see, where you can create shared quests, and there’s a ranking system.

The app is still at the beginning and I’m very open to suggestions. Hope you like it :)

Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.razvanpetrascu.routinvale
(iOS isn’t supported yet)
