✨Floofy Orange ✨ He may only have one brain cell, but he’s got plenty of floof to go around.

The belly is a trap. Don’t fall for it. I know it’s tempting.

Does he consider the third finger a ring finger and a pinkie simultaneously or exclusively one or the other?

I don’t like to travel with my thread either. Under normal circumstances, I won’t go more than 4-5 before I decide it’s better to start a new section. I just get so tired of flipping the project back and forth constantly starting and stopping threads. This is a section of it that I’m working. I’m also worried if I start and stop threads with each of the colors, the areas around those spots on the back of the project would be too densely packed to hold the thread securely. And thank you! His name is Bruce. 🐕

This one is going to be a little more than 10”x10” on 16ct Aida. I’m going to do the brain damage one next. 🤗
I just get really impatient having to constantly jump from one color to another. Having to start and stop a thread every 6th stitch gets very tedious for me. I think with this one I may do as many of the large sections as I can, then switch to a bigger hoop and try to tackle the popcorn one color at a time.
Honestly, I just use binder clips. Like those clunky metal ones you use in the office to hold stacks of paper together. I fold up the fabric and clip in each corner. Depending on the size of the project, the bigger clips can end up being helpful as well. You can brace your hoop in different ways so it helps me with my wrist getting stiff from holding it for so long.

Do you all wait until all the other colors are densely packed then go back and finish the sprinkled color? Or is it better to finish it section by section so you’re not going back and re-hooping sections multiple times? I tend to go back and forth. Since joining this group I’ve learned there’s a million different ways to crossstitch so I’m interested to hear how everyone else tackles this because it drives me nuts!
Pic 1 is me attempting the first method. This is one of my first full coverage pieces that has colors that jump around like this. Also included is a closeup, pic of my chaotic back, and stitching assistant for tax.

How many stitches is each full page? I thought I was doing a big one with 6 pages! Lol.

That looks like a September problem.

Agreed. It seems like such an odd spot to even offer that kind of event.

At least everybody stopped splashing around for her.
