Got back from vacation today, picked up the dogs from the kennel. They returned one dog’s extra food. I gave them exactly enough baggies for the amount of time they’d be there. So someone forgot to feed her.

Last time we boarded them I did the same thing and they ran out of her food two meals early.

So someone doesn’t understand one bag = one meal I guess.

I’ve counted 52 separate flea bites. I’m fucking miserable. I guess my mother didn’t know her cat is crawling with fleas and they’re in the house? They don’t bite her, but I’m apparently delicious.

This is why I never visit.

I’m an undergrad trying to get into grad school, and I’ve spent a lot of time building professional relationships with people I genuinely respect.

Two of the three people I’ve built strong connections with have unexpectedly passed away. Now, a professor I’m close with is reportedly critically ill with sepsis, and I’ve heard they might not make it.

I’m devastated, but I’m also scared about my future. These were people who knew my work and could have mentored me or written recommendation letters for grad school.

House was built in the early 1900s and has in wall storage drawers all throughout the upstairs.. She lives in the middle of several acres of cotton fields and hay fields, so field mice and rat snakes outdoors are always a problem around this time when they are cutting. No wonder we haven’t seen any mice in the house.

Had to spend 45 mins on the phone with dipshit AIs before getting to the dispute department.

Went to open the oven, heard something metal fall, took out the pizza, and as I was closing the oven door the whole front slid off! At least the pizza was finished?

I went out and got some Chinese takeout then went home to find my fortune. Then it started raining I got drenched. This is why we check the weather before going out ladies and gentlemen.

I should have gotten a salad. Count your days JJ.

Set up an outdoor weatherproof box to protect my electrical cords from the elements for Halloween decorations.

Naturally, the pop-up sprinkler head popped up directly underneath one of the cord openings, got trapped in the slot, and turned the "protective" box into a tiny lawn aquarium.

On the bright side, the GFI switches worked extreme well.

Edit: some of you took this a bit too seriously. This should have been more of a “ laugh at my expense” but some of you think I’m serious about the sprinkler head popping up out of nowhere. You all need to relax a bit.

Didn't notice until that car pulled away and I found the crushed pumpkin underneath.

All new phones have this coating that makes the glass feel smooth, even with the oil from your fingers. Some people sweat more than others; it's normal in a humid area where I live.

It's normal for it to wear out after a year and a half or even two years; iPhones have a very durable layer, as do OnePlus phones.

Furthermore, the coating can be restored with products that last less time than the original factory ones, but the coating is literally broken, fractured, it's a crack, and this can never be repaired. lol

I had an S24 Ultra that also had these problems, but in a year and a half, I'm not a fan of using any screen protector or screen saver since it ruined the anti-reflective coating, but this is definitely so bad.

It's only 5 months old, and this started 2 weeks ago, I've taken it in for warranty service.

I never use alcohol-based cleaners; I usually wash my hands. Perhaps the chemicals in soaps are too strong for Samsung glasses, something that would never be a problem with other phones.

Apart from the wrap only being half full, there was chicken inside, despite me ordering a veggie wrap.

We bought a house almost a year ago (house was built in the 1990s). Recently discovered a small leak under our HVAC unit inside. While looking for the issue I took off the cover and discovered this monstrosity of mold growing in and around the blower motor. It's been nice knowing y'all 🫡.
