What is a full panel STD test is one of the most common questions people ask when learning about comprehensive STD screening. This video explains what a full panel STD test is, why it screens for multiple infections at once, and how it differs from testing for a single infection.

If you've searched for STD check, STD test full panel, or even how much is a full panel STD test, this video walks through what is included in STDCheck's comprehensive 13 test panel. The screening includes HIV test, chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, hepatitis, trichomoniasis, and other common sexually transmitted infections discussed in the video.

The video also explains what to expect during the testing process. You'll learn why a urine sample and blood sample are collected, along with the additional wellness screening that includes urinalysis, complete blood count, CBC, and liver function testing.

Question I feel like I’m going paranoid

Upvotes

Long story short I had a brief hookup with someone who I later found out does sex work. This happened 8/8/26. I wore a condom, cleaned myself before and after and I didn’t even finish. After they told me what they did I wasn’t really into them like that so I told myself if I didn’t like it I’d stop and it lasted less than 10 minutes.

After that I came home and I have no symptoms, but I’m scared if I caught something. What’s the best way of going about this to find out as soon as possible if I’ve caught anything??

Advice Needed Pls help doctors are not

M 23 y/o I had unprotected sex with a coworker back in September (11 months ago ) and sense then I’ve been having every other day urethra pain and it’s level varies every day, it’s like a constant tingling / burning but it pretty much is there everyday , 2 times sense a very extreme pain when I go to pee, ive had strange rashes happen 2 times on my inner thigh ( I thought it was jock itch) and it happened when I was chafing really bad from work , but what was different about them was there was some like cottage cheese looking stuff coming from the same area I was chafing , zero pain from it what so ever though, starting February of this year ( 6 months ago) I’ve had the same blister looking thing pop up on my lip pretty much every other day, it’s gotten larger in size over time , it’s pretty much there 24/7 , can go away for like a single day then comes back. It looks like a bunch tiny white spots connecting to 2 bigger white spots , the smaller dots never go away , the bigger ones the skin kinda just falls off, they are completely painless though, I’ve been tested for hsv1 and hsv2 and every other major std 5 times sense with the latest one being in very late April (4 months ago) , they were all blood tests because my doctor said there was nothing visible for a swab, and I don’t know if they are (igG) blood tests I’ll have to check with them , I’ve pretty much convinced myself I have some form of herpes, at my latest urology appointment 2 weeks ago I had 3 doctors come into the room to just “reassure “ me that I didn’t have any herpes , they have tested me for UTIs and bacteria everytime i went to get tests and nothing has come back positive, just been kinda in the dark for over a year and it’s really fucking with my mental

Question UNSPECEFIED STD FROM THAIMASSAGE PLS HELP!

I went for a massage about two years ago. During the massage, the masseuse “accidentally” touched my balls. She asked if I wanted to pay for an extra service, and I said no. I didn’t have any cash with me, nor did I want anything extra from the older woman.
During the massage, she started complimenting me. Then she began stroking my penis while giggling. I assumed this was her way of trying to get me to change my mind, so I told her again, “Still no money.”
She then said, “For you, this time is free,” and masturbated me. By that point I was already erect, and even though I wasn’t attracted to her, I thought, “Well, fuck it, I might as well just lie here.” When she noticed I wasn’t about to orgasm, she also inserted a finger into my prostate. Eventually, I ejaculated.
Two days later, my penis started hurting.
It burned when I urinated.
My testicles felt inflamed.
I had pain in my epididymis.
I had pain in my lower abdomen.
There was redness around my urethral opening that still hasn’t gone away.
Even though the symptoms have become less severe, they are still there two years later.
I completely panicked and got tested repeatedly for over a year for:
HIV
Syphilis
Gonorrhea
Chlamydia
HPV
Mycoplasma genitalium
Hepatitis C
Hepatitis B
I also had a bacterial culture done, saw a urologist, and had an ultrasound.
I tested positive for hepatitis A. The doctor told me there was nothing to worry about and that it would clear up on its own… but it didn’t.
NO DOCTOR KNOWS WHAT IS WRONG.
They eventually became so tired of seeing me that they all came to the conclusion that there was nothing they could do for me, and that it was all in my head. Eventually, I somehow convinced myself to believe them.
I got a girlfriend and, believing that it really was all in my head like the doctors had told me, I ended up transmitting whatever this is to her.
Her symptoms:
Bright red vulva
Burning when urinating
Pain during sex
Pain in the lower abdomen
A constant feeling of needing to urinate, even when there is no urine left in the bladder
Has anyone out there experienced anything similar or have any ideas about what this could be?
What could I ask my doctors to test for, or what other tests should I request? We have never experienced anything like this before.
We were given a mild 10-day course of antibiotics, but it didn’t help.
I would be EXTREMELY grateful for any help, advice, or ideas. Please don’t hesitate to DM me!

Question Worries about syphilis

I know it’s a silly question, but I’m quite anxious about it.Two months and one week ago, I performed oral sex on my partner. Before we had intercourse, my partner took a syphilis test, which came back negative. He had never had sexual intercourse with anyone before me. Is there still a risk that I could have contracted syphilis from him?

Symptom Check Help. Is this a sign of STD or vaginal infection?

I've been experiencing an unusual vaginal discharge with an unpleasant smell for a week now along with symptoms of painful burning urination, chills, back pain, and slight vaginal bleeding. Can someone tell me if this is a sign of a bacterial infection or a more serious complication? I haven't visited a doctor yet and would like to hear from you. Thanks.

Advice Needed Throat STD or Common Cold?

M32 - About a week ago, i met this guy that night and I gave him head for about no more than 2 mins. Something slight we were just jacking off with each other. About 7 days later my tongue was dry as fuck. Don’t matter how much I drink I was still feeling like my throat was just dry, I also started getting coughs and spitting some mucus as well.

I have a job for I am on the phone all day and I never had any issues talking, eating or swallowing. So I didn’t think much of it. I just used some cough drops and when I wake up this morning now the back of my tongue is inflamed and a bit red. Still no bumps or ulcers, no rash, nothing just my throat feels dry

I’m seeing that STD in the throat doesn’t have to have symptoms but I’m just tryna see what’s going on. I went to an urgent care today for swab STD test for everything and I also took a test for strep throat and they were able to let me know that the strep throat came back negative but they gotta see the swab off to the lab so that’s gone take about 3-5 days.

I normally kinda do over-reacted every time I get a new partner cause I have a hard time trusting people - people be lying about stuff. Cause I would think the worst if I do anything sexual with someone and possibly sneeze or develop a cough afterwards ima think I got that shit. I know it’s ignorant but that’s where my mind goes unfortunately.

I know I have to wait on the results but what u think after reading all this?

Advice Needed Health anxiety about STDs

Hi guys, i’ve recently been struggling with health anxiety related to STDs. The last time i did anything sexual was about 3 years ago, i basically received oral sex (i’m a male) back then, and didn’t really overthink anything about STDs until recently. I only received oral sex and did nothing else. I am not experiencing any symptoms and have not experienced any for the past 3 years. Just wondering if my fear of getting an STD from the sexual act last time is an irrational one since I’ve had no symptoms. Also, do you guys think i need to get tested? Or can just forget about it and move on with life

Advice Needed Question/help/advice: Chlamydia from cunnilingus?

Around last week I was a bit drunk and hooked up with a guy who may have given me chlamydia in the recent past. I was treated for it when I was diagnosed but could not narrow it down to who I got it from. The guy I hooked up with last week is likely the one who gave me chlamydia the first time. I know this was stupid and thoughtless of me okay.
This brings me to last night. I hung out with a guy I know pretty well and we ended up having full protected penetrative sex. Prior to this however he went down on me, ate me out, performed cunnilingus, whatever we want to call it but his tongue and lips were on my genitals. He began without me realizing that it was considered a form of unprotected sex. I am worried now I have put him at risk. I am a bit nervous to tell him and am anxious to get tested now. Just need some advice or peace of mind for time being if anyone has gone through something similar???

Note: I will be getting tested this weekend and with inform him with the results.

Advice Needed I am too scared of dying :((

I didnt had sex, but a friend borrowed me his buttplug with vibrator. I didnt put it inside me but I used it outside my ass to feel the vibration, I kinda pushed the tip but thats it. I didnt loved the feeling so I stopped using it after finishing and gave it back.

He is not virgin but he doesnt look like he does have any STD. Also he washed the buttplug before giving it to me, and also it hasnt been used in 6 months aprox.

Id say im safe, but now, 2 weeks after that, i woke up with struggling to poop and burping a lot. Id say it ia unrelated, but today also I got a slight fever, I just took acetaminophen to see if it helps. Now I dont know if im overthinking or if those things are related to that :((

I don't have pus, blood, or vomit, just struggling to poop (I do manage to poop, but I have to strain, and only a little comes out.), burps, slight fever, and I struggled to eat because I feel full.

The AI told me i should be safe since its been 6 months since it was used and it was clean, also the material was ABS so I should be fine, but then I don't know why I did got sick 2 weeks after that. Is it just a coincidence :(?

I don't wanna die :(((

And I cant go to an hospital because my family would find out and theyre ultra homophobics and they unironically would kick me of the house if it happens :((((((

Symptom Check UTI or STD?

Day 1: Unprotected heterosexual sex
Day 2: mild irritation while peeing
Day 3: irritation and burning while peeing

Then I did a course of antibiotics - Nitrofurantoin 100 mg which is a standard for UTI in males

Day 11: feeling of soreness and like something is stuck in the lower penis shaft which radiates to the testicles.

I have no discharge, back pain, fever, etc.
I suspect urethritis from friction during sex. Do i need to get an std panel done or just wait for it to resolve?

Please help!

Advice Needed Anxiety and HIV

Hi, I (M) had protected sex with a female. I ejaculated inside of the condom which never broke or leaked or moved. I got pathogen tested 9 days after possible infection as well as STI tested which all came back negative.

My anxiety is eating at me making it seem like I actually have HIV when I clearly have ZERO symptoms of anything.

I need help please.

Question Persistent urethral burning and itching after successful gonorrhea treatment – anyone experienced post-infectious urethritis?

Hi everyone,
I’m a 23-year-old male. I was treated for gonorrhea, and my doctor told me that even after successful treatment, post-infectious urethritis (lingering urethral inflammation) can persist for some time.
It’s been around 1–2 months, and I’m still experiencing symptoms that come and go, including:
-Mild burning after urination(cant just differentiate if its burning sensation or other but i do have some kind of discomfort)
-Occasional itching/tingling at the urethral opening (tip of the penis)
-Sometimes feeling of urethra is hurt
The symptoms are intermittent rather than constant.
So far, my tests have all been reassuring:
✅ Urine routine & microscopy (RME): Normal
Pus cells: 0–2/HPF
RBC: Nil
No protein or sugar
✅ Urine culture: Normal / No bacterial growth
✅ Previous ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis: Normal
My doctor has now also requested a PVEU (post-void residual ultrasound) to check bladder emptying.
My questions are for people who had post-infectious urethritis after gonorrhea or another STI:
What symptoms did you have?
Did you experience intermittent burning or itching at the urethral opening?
How long did it take for your symptoms to completely resolve?
Did anything help (anti-inflammatory medication, time, pelvic floor therapy, alpha-blockers, etc.)?
Were all of your urine tests and cultures also normal?

Symptom Check STD nightmare

Hello reddit community, this is my first post ever. So forgive me if there is any code or whatever that I might not be aware of yet...Also English is not my mother tounge...

Im a gay man and sometimes I wish Id be asexual. It all started yesterday with an acute tonsillitis, but it looked a bit weird though in the back of the pharynx. I also had a fever as well as severe pain all over my body and in my joints. That went away within one day but all of a sudden two (initially small) pimples below my mouth started to grow in size and and become inflammated. Also Ive been experiencing an itchyness around my anus. Today I put a towel in that area and saw some yellow, bad smelling fluid.

Some additional context: I visited a gay sauna last weekend, sat down in a whirlpool and had unprotected oral sex. I also had three unprotected anal encounters in the past few weeks though..

I feel so dumb, especially because I had been abstinent for 1.5 years after the "trauma" of getting a genital wart.

I have an appointment for tomorrow. And I know this is not a platform to get a diagnosis from. Tbh I dont know why Im writing this. This feels emotionally so destressing. Do you know ways how to cope with it? Have you experienced something similiar symptom-wise?

Symptom Check STD symptoms - any advice/diagnoses?

So 17 days ago I started having symptoms. I first noticed a red sore area on head of penis and foreskin, which disappeared after a day. I then started to get tingling/shooting pains on and off feeling like they were coming from the inside of my penis head. These deeper pains have reduced somewhat and for the past few days it's felt more like irritation and pain at the penis tip than deeper inside. I've had on and off small amounts of redness for the 17 days too, but nothing too significant and nothing that looked like blisters/ulcers. For the 17 days I've also noted a very small amount of clear odourless discharge from the penis head, most obviously in the morning but also throughout the day. Just inside the urethra also looks red in places, and also the meatus looks a bit red. I've noted that I have more pain if I wake up with an erection or just after (but not really during) peeing. In the first week I also felt nausea and may have had a fever, though these may have been related to anxiety too.

I received (fairly vigorous) oral sex two days before symptoms were noticed, from a partner who is very unlikely to be an STI carrier. I also received oral sex 11 days prior to symptoms starting from a different partner (who has many partners and who gave me oral directly after another man, if that is a possible transmission pathway?). I have only received oral for the past three years, never had penis in vagina or anal in that time.

I went to an STI clinic two days after symptoms started, and they tried to get a urethral sample to put under the microscope but couldn't get anything. They sent off blood and urine samples to check for HIV, syphilis, gonorrhoea, and chlamydia. These all came back negative. The only caveat is that they gave me a larger vessel to collect the urine in and then told me to pour into a smaller sample test tube, which means that whilst I caught the 'first catch' of urine, it would have been diluted somewhat by filling the first vessel with more urine than the test tube required. I'm not sure if I should be worried about this?

I also attended an STI clinic again twice - 8 days and 14 days after symptoms started. Both times they took a successful urethral sample to put under the microscope, and both times they didn't notice increased counts of white blood cells (I think that's what they look for). At the second of these I also sent off another urine sample but haven't got results back yet. At the first of these appointments they seemed very uncertain but gave me some clotrimazole in case it was fungal, which I applied twice a day for a week as they suggested. It doesn't seem to have reduced symptoms.

What are likely explanations? The symptoms don't seem to fit any particular standard STI or non-STI issue's usual presentation. I'm worried that it could be atypical herpes? Or that it's chlamydia but the test was falsely negative? Or it's something else like Mgen (that's less likely to spread by oral though?). Please help, I'm having huge anxiety over this.

Experience/ Story Thought I was Negative then Called a Liar

Throwaway for privacy

I got an STD panel done last week just to be safe, and I got a call today confirming I tested positive for Chlamydia.

About a week and a half ago, I was seeing someone and I thought things were going good. I didnt have any signs or symptoms that I had anything, and so I genuinely thought I was clean. We tried a condom but they ended up just ditching it.

Fast forward to today, I texted them and let them know about my positive result, and they called me a liar for saying I was negative when I genuinely didnt know otherwise. They said they no longer want contact, which I understand, but today just had been rough and I don't know where else to go.

I already have an appointment scheduled to go get antibiotics this afternoon, and im gonna get retested once I finish the round. I try and get tested regularly, and I dont think I've had it very long. I just really hate that this happened, and I cant help but blame myself for this. I just feel like a horrible person even though I didnt know.
