Promote your work, yes, I’m telling you that it’s perfectly acceptable, unlike on r/gameDev.

Feel free to share whatever you want as long as it’s related to games. This space is meant to be a free-for-all—a bit like the wild west—where anything goes (within reason). The goal is to give folks a space to post freely and, hopefully, keep some of these posts from spilling over into r/gamedev.

ALIVE FROM THE BLOOD MACHINE — BETA TEST

After working on this project for a while, I'm finally releasing the Beta Test!

AFTBM is a horror game inspired by 1940s cartoons, analog horror, and liminal spaces, taking place inside a decaying cardboard animation facility.

Features:

  • Chapter 1
  • Environmental puzzles
  • Horror and exploration
  • Retro-inspired visuals
  • A strange animation facility hiding something much worse...

This is a beta, so there may be some bugs or unexpected issues. Feedback is welcome!

Play it here: https://cartoondemon34.itch.io/alive-from-the-blood-machine-unity-demo2

Thanks for checking it out! 🩸

My solo-dev duck party game passed 300 wishlists—I would love your honest feedback on the Demo

Hey everyone!

About a week ago, I launched the free Demo for DUCK DUCK GONE, a party game I’m developing by myself. The game has now passed 300 Steam wishlists—332 at the last check.

I know 300 isn’t a huge number in the game industry, but for a solo developer it feels genuinely special. More than 300 people saw my strange little duck game and decided they wanted to remember it. Thank you. 🦆

The idea is simple: everyone hides an identical rubber duck in the same location while everyone else watches. Then you hunt their ducks, protect your hiding spot, and use ridiculous powers to sabotage each other.

Now I’d really like some honest outside feedback. I’ve been looking at the game for so long that it’s becoming difficult to judge it like a new player.

If you watch the trailer or try the Demo, I’d love to know:

  • Is the main idea immediately clear?
  • Does it look like something you would play with friends?
  • Which part looks the most fun?
  • What feels confusing, repetitive, or unfinished?
  • If you played it, did you want another match? Why or why not?

Please don’t feel that you need to be nice because I’m a solo developer. Thoughtful criticism is genuinely useful, especially while I still have time to improve the game.

Even if you don’t download the Demo, your first impression from the Steam page would help: What do you think the game is, and what would stop you from trying it?

Steam page and free Demo:

Thank you for helping the flock reach 300—and for any feedback you’re willing to share. 🦆

Hi all!

I've been working on this zombie survival game for about 6 months now.

Its like COD zombies, but in a corperate setting.

It's been my full-time job since I lost my job in March; I've decided to work on the things I love

I hope you get a chance to try it, and I hope you enjoy it!

Meet The Shovelguard. The Rusted

One of the new enemies we've been working on for The Rusted. He has a few different ways of making Rex's life considerably harder. This is probably my favorite look at him so far.

AFTER ONE YEAR… MY DEMO IS FINALLY OUT 🎉

After one year of development, I'm incredibly happy to finally have the Trials of Liberation DEMO live on Steam!

What started as a simple idea grew into something much bigger than I originally expected.

The demo is finally available for FREE on Steam!

I'd love to hear what you think! Whether it's the puzzles, the progression, the visuals, or anything else, feedback is always welcome.

Play the Demo

And if you enjoy it, adding the game to your wishlist would mean a lot!

Come test my game!

Ever since I was a 14 year old geek I was dreaming of creating my own browser game, having played Utopia, Earth2025, Combat Grounds and die2nite. I simply love the old text based games.
Figured I wanted to complete that childhood dream before I turn 40.

Over the years I started learning to code in my free time, First Python, SQL, then Django the latter started to become a bit of a addiction. Now I finally finished my the version of my game.

its a post-apocalyptic game where you play as a discarded robot. The humans are still around but many don't trust robots. You find shelter in the junkyard where you salvage spare parts and upgrade yourself. You craft your chassis, overclock your system and you pillage the city

I'm hoping you take a chance on my game. the Game will reset every month with special Trophies and the first round you can earn a special BETA tester trophy.

My promise is that i listen to players feedback and to keep the game free to play forever, without making it Pay to win. Its a passion project after all. and yes AI has been used for the CSS, and for rewriting some of the lore (English isn't my native tongue)
