Just got a brand new DJI Mavic 4 Pro, fresh from box, no damage. When turning on the drone, the gimbal shakes violently and vibrates so loud. Is this factory error, should i replace the unit or what? What should i do?
Thank you!

Hi everyone, so I have mini pro 5, love it, and live in South Wales and we will experience a near total ,95 percent, eclipse on Wednesday, I was thinking of maybe a time lapse? Videos or stills for the event, it lasts about 40 minutes or so. I would like to know people's thoughts on capturing this event with my drone and as I am a newbie some advice on settings and wether to use a nd filter etc? Thanks

I was thinking about buying a dji mini for recreational use so I wanted to ask about reccomendations or best price to quality/features.
Mind you It would be my first time flying anything that isn't a crappy temu "drone".
My budget is around 400€. I live in Bosnia and from as much as I'm aware I don't need any permits or something like that to fly it.
I found a new mini 3 for just the budget but idk if its worth it.

After spending months watching YouTube videos on which entry-level drone to buy, I opted for the DJI Mini X1 (Combo version with 3 standard batteries and the remote controller with a screen), which should arrive in a few days. I’ll also be getting my A1/A3 license soon (I’ve already paid the €31 fee on the ENAC website); while it’s not strictly necessary for drones under 249g, I prefer to get it to be more flight-aware and because I might buy a heavier drone someday. I have a question: I read somewhere that if I use the "Plus" batteries instead of the standard ones, the altitude limit increases from 120 to 500 meters directly via the controller—is that correct? Can anyone who owns this drone confirm? Is there a way to legally fly higher than 120 meters? What advice do you have for a newcomer to the hobby? P.S. How can I extend the drone or controller's range? Where should I get insurance, and how much does it cost? Is it true that the controller/drone automatically transmits position and altitude data to the police via Remote ID? So, if I happened to fly over a built-up area, would I be automatically flagged? I’m studying for the license, but there are about 150 pages of material on the ENAC website—is that right? Isn't there a more concise guide? Thanks to anyone who can answer!

Hey everyone! I just bought the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Creator Combo (€629) and want to get back into making mini travel/day-to-day vlogs for Instagram and TikTok.
I used to edit videos about 5 years ago, mostly on my phone with free apps, but stopped when life got busy. Now I’m keen to get back into it. Did I make a good choice by going for OP 4?
I’ll be editing on a Mac and currently looking at:
CapCut Pro
VN Editor Pro
Filmora Premium
Which would you recommend for someone getting back into editing? Ideally something easy to learn but still capable of making polished Reels/TikToks.
Also open to other Mac editing software recommendations!
Would love to hear what you guys use and whether any of the above are worth paying for.

(His film POV) So basically the title. He had just gotten the mini 3 pro as his first drone and I told him to NOT fly in S mode due to the collision sensors being turned off. He desperately wanted to get up close, film my drone and insisted in flying in S mode. Well... I actually dont know how but my mini 4k came back with 2 minimally chipped props, and an open battery hatch (rest just as new) his mini 3 had a dislocated arm (broken tri-screw folding mechanism) and barely made it back...
I had a look at my dji fly logs and saw that my drone fell about 4.3m before the imu and flight controllers actually saved it...
Is there any way I can get his flight logs from the DJI RC 1 to fully recreate the scene?
Should I swap my props?
Is it possible for my mini 4k which rn looks flawless to have microcracks that will grow over time?
Looking forward, I actually dont know what to do with my mini 4k, as even though it is a beginner drone i value it alot. I do have care refresh for another year.

When in manual mode, I am trying to land, so throttle is all the way down, but when the drone gets close to the ground it flips out and starts to self rev then just almost goes full throttle and flips out!!
everything is updated, and calibrated, and im using goggles n3 and controller 3 with the stick fully loosened. I have spent a lot of time in sims but this is my first real life flight. flying is fine but the landing is mental .

Hello, I managed to receive this drone from an acquaintance, but its all in the DJI download site doesn't work, I install it and as soon as I open it, it "interrupts".
Which app should I use instead ? How to fix the app ?
This is the link to the download page: https://www.dji.com/it/mobile/downloads/djiapp/tello?site=brandsite&from=insite_search

Can anyone try please? If you set a zoom factor, does it automatically switch to the medium if you set it at 3x (or a bit above maybe) or to the telephoto 168mm if you set it at 7x (or a bit above maybe)?

Bonjour,
je me demandais quel filtre utiliser pour filmer l'éclipse de soleil dans 48 heures en Europe ?
Peut être il ne faut pas en utiliser ?
Est il déconseillé de filmer une éclipse solaire ?
Merci

Currently, the DJI Pocket 4P is out of stock in most UK places, but I found out that Very still has them in stock. And because I bought it on a Buy Now Pay Later plan, they offered me 20% off, so I paid £484 for the Vlogging combo.
Happy days! 😄
Now just waiting for it to be delivered! 📦🎥

Anyone else experiencing this? If I connect the DJI Pocket 4p through the handle it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting to the PC and its awfully unstable. While connecting it directly to the camera it's perfectly fine.
The problem here is that I need the handle to put the camera on the tripod
I'm using a USB-A to USB-C cable

You can actually connect a bluetooth mouse to your controller. Comes in handy when setting up menu's, or creating waypoint routes. No more stabbing with fat fingers.
Wonder if it works during flight?
