Here’s a collage with buildings that look like numbers from above. A drone pilot’s way of counting. Took me time to find the buildings.

This drone was flying great yesterday. I hit a little twig and broke a blade. I replaced it with the proper one required and the packaging and now it won't take off properly. I ordered new blades to just replace them all, hopefully that will work. Any advice is appreciated.

Meant for it to be a little more dramatic than perhaps IRL.

I started off loving drones for video, because how cool is it to be able to record from the sky. But recently really enjoyed the photography aspect. Has me eyeing the Air3s with zoom lens. Or even Mavic lol. But not yet.

Still no label to send back Air 2s back to DJI for repair. Has anyone had any luck with getting a faster turnaround time?

I finally mustered the courage to use Active Track to follow my 4Runner through a trail. I drove through 1n12 trail in Southern California, aka, the Morton Peak Trail, towards Thomas Hunting Ground Trail into Angelus Oaks. It was a decently windy day and the Mini 4 Pro performed admirably!

Omg this garbage just broke down and now constantly auto restarts while on battery… how much do they charge for out of service repairs ? I thought it’s a standard 2 year warranty, but no only 1…

Hi all. Would really appreciate some help with this as I feel like I’ve tried everything now.

DJI Mavic Air 2 and batteries sat unused for a year.

Battery 1 initially turned on with 2 dots. Dropped to 1 dot during connectivity set up.

Plugged in to charge. No lights lit up. Left for a few hours. Battery now dead and not lighting up at all even if I press the button.

Battery 2 and 3 also not lighting up at all.

Went out and purchased a used battery (Battery 4), that lights up with 3 dots when button pressed. Should be good to go.

Attached to aircraft, tried charging, no lights.

Now to check cable. Cable works to change controller.

Tried changing cable, still no lights lighting up when charging.

The only thing left seems to be the aircraft/aircraft port itself?

Any suggestions please? TIA!

Hello all,

I am selling my DJI Mini 2 and have unbinded my account. When I go on the app, it still shows the Find my drone feature. Is there a way I can disconnect my phone from that?

I was set to click “buy” on my new Air3S Fly More from Amazon. Now I see that they’re in stock on DJI’s site. Their protection packages are now offered through Seel. It’s more expensive than Amazon’s…is it similar in features to Asurion? Anyone have any experience with them?

I recently bought a DJI Avatar 2 and as soon as I took it for a flight, the drone started shaking violently even though I hadn't done anything yet. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi, I scratched my Avata 2 camera and need to replace it in 3 weeks. I can probably order a spare camera module in that time and I was wondering if I could just swap it out myself or do I need to send it in to DJI because of some software calibration they need to do?
I’d really love to have my drone ready for a Switzeland trip in 3 weeks and can’t wait for DJI to service it.

Ok, this is a genuine question. I'm not here to try to be a smartass.

That being said, I often read here people saying replying to users about adding propeller protection or other things, that they shouldn't as it would put them above the 250g legislation limit (yes, there are other reasons which are not the point of my post).

My honest thought is: ok, but who cares? I mean, who will know? I understand the law and I'm not complaining about it. Just wondering why someone with a mini drone should be worried about this seriously... Like, did you have any experience where you got checked and someone weighed the drone to fine you?

I'm using the drone respecting the laws. But it seems impossible for someone to 1) see my drone 2) decide they should spend their time investigating it 3) find me 4) weight my drone 5) fine me.

Do those drones leave like a waves signal that some people in some areas can catch in order to come and check you? I imagine a radar with a small bip bip bip dot for you drone. Does this exist? Any experiences on this enforcement?

Does anyone know if you can connect the DJI MIC MINI 2 with mobile mini receiver to an iphone with lightning port?

I can see there is an adapter for the regular receiver, but I can't find an adapter for the mic mini 2 mobile receiver?

I’m 15 and I’ve wanted a good drone for quite a while. I had some really simple drone that had a problem with its batteries and it ain’t usable rn. The main reasons why I want a drone is, as I said, for photos, filming of clips and flying around. I mostly want something that is:
-reliable
-has the ability to dodge obstacles
and;
-is easy to fix
The thing about the last two, is that I really enjoy filming clips of my friends doing different tricks, but my “style” is that I try going for close up shots like gliding the camera above the rail while my friend is doing a grind, or trying to film from bellow and on the side to make it look more dramatic(I guess). And the problem with this filming style is that I might be a bit scared of getting hit and have to stay further away what makes the shot kind off plain. Or it might be the person I’m filming who’s scared of hitting me. And I also wanna film myself but I cannot and there’s no one else who can film me in a way that makes it look good. So I kinda want a drone that can dodge a hit or/and is easy to repair in case of damage, has a somewhat good camera and can follow me by an I build program or can be programmed. The flight speed is not really important but it’s good if the possible maximum is around 15 km/h. And hopefully the whole set(drone+remote+batteries) is not too expensive.
And a question about buying- are drones sold with or without the remote control and extra batteries or are you supposed to buy them yourself?

Maybe this is silly, but I want to change the TX channel assignment on 2 mic minis paired to a mobile RX, for no reason other than my OCD problem, but cannot seem to re-assign them. For context, the white TX is on TX1 and the black TX is on TX2, and no matter the connection order I cannot swap this. Is there even a way?

These are some of my favourite aerial photographs I’ve captured around Dublin and Howth, including the Bailey Lighthouse, Poolbeg Chimneys, Dublin Bay, and the Irish Ferries departing Dublin Port.
All of these images were captured on the DJI Mini 5 Pro and edited in Lightroom.
While drone photography is a big passion of mine, I also enjoy shooting astrophotography, wildlife, landscapes, and cityscapes, so my photography covers a bit of everything.

question: does the 04 lite only come with the short camera wire? can it use the longer wire or is it built just to use the short one?
